Mallory Jansen vs Krystal Forscutt

BEFORE: Former ACB lightweight champion Mallory Jansen squares off against a woman whom many pundits claim is the best Australian lightweight never to hold the national belts but even Krystal Forscutt doesn't believe this fight should be billed as the unofficial title eliminator. She just wants to return to the ring and "smash Mallory into a pulp" but that will be a huge ask especially that Jansen just battered the experienced Karolina Kurkova last month. Meanwhile Krystal couldn't overcome the highly-touted Brooks Nader in her most recent attempt that dates back to January 2021. Green & Gold's Sarah Cumming claims the New South Wales brunette is maybe swinging for the fences here but Crossover PPV is one event where you don't look for easy outs and a single win could kick-start Forscutt's elite campaign again.

Round 1:
Jansen cranks up the jabbing heat from the word go and slams a left/right combo into the fellow brunette's face but then meets a crushing overhand on the nose that wobbles her onto her heels and allows Forscutt to jump into a hectic head-hunting pursuit. Both women dish out the leather haze in the center of the ring however it's Krystal that secures the better production and slowly begins to outwork the former ACB champion before lacing her on the waist-line at the two minute mark. Ugh! Mallory wobbles forward with a whimper but Forscutt just misses with an uppercut smash and has the model hugging her breasts and seeking a rare clinch out of nowhere. The older brunette shakes her off but fails to land more significant punches thereafter as Mallory displays superior footwork to hang around in mid-distance comfort for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
Krystal opens the round with some heavy slugging but bounces off the fellow brunette's forearms and struggles to connect with the big punches while Mallory works around the body to restore some respect into her performance. Forscutt still seeks that head-hunting missile to put the model into her place but lacks the required precision while Jansen can deceive many of her opponents with above par mobility given her profession. The back & forth dispute continues but only single punches land on target before Krystal breaks through with a quick double in the closing stages but Jansen bumps her on the breasts and drives a late gut shot on the navel right at the bell to even the scores.

Round 3:
Another feisty start from the older brunette who racks up several clean hits in the opening minute before Mallory responds over the top and triggers a head-hunting war of attrition in the center of the ring. She cuts Forscutt up below the left eye and smacks a wild hook on the nose that drops the older woman onto her heels upon impact. Krystal refuses to seek respite and tries to push off the back foot but Jansen gets there first and blows a right hand on the nose that spills blood on the canvas and makes the crowd gasp for air! Huh! Mallory pounces on the statesque rival and drives her up the chimney before landing a swift shot on the solar plexus that DROPS FORSCUTT for the count!!! How about that! The former champion assumes a commanding position and one might wonder how she can deliver such power against an otherwise very durable opponent. Krystal takes her time and stays down on one knee until the count reaches eight. She vows to punish the cheerful model straight away but doesn't have the speed required and swings wide off the mark as Mallory laughs off her efforts! The bell strikes when both women weave around each other but Krystal almost loses her footing in the process and Mallory is lucky she pulled back on another hook that would have landed after the clock expired.

Round 4:
Krystal is furious over that knockdown and wants to set the record straight... only to find Mallory gashing her from both flanks and opening another bloody stream from the wounded nostrils. Ugh! Forscutt grinds to a halt in the center of the ring and doesn't raise her mitts fast enough before another bomb scythes her across the brow ridge to cause more physical damage. Uh-oh! Here comes Jansen blowing more punches into the older brunette's face but it's the switch on the solar plexus that breaks Krystal's dwindling resistance for good. SHE CRASHES DOWN ON HER KNEES whit a loud whimper and bends her head against the canvas during an otherwise slowish count! Uh-oh! Just like that it's party time for the former champion as Kryssie can't stay off the boards!!! KO4 Mallory Jansen in "Hey, tramps I'm back fashion!!!"

AFTER: One might argue Krystal is living off her reputation after all those years in business but maybe her championship window has indeed closed?  BronzedOz head coach Nicky Whelan refuses to admit that being the case but Green & Gold's Sarah Cumming points out she kinda mismanaged Phoebe Tonkin's career lately and should hire a new trainer to handle the big girls divisions and focus on the Herbert twins prospects. A heated argument between these two lovely ladies overshadows the official verdict announcement but Mallory finds the situation amusing: "Hey, two blondes arguing over one brunette knocking out another brunette and one more brunette being called a wasted talent! Sign me up for the evening news!" (laughs).
