Emma Roberts vs Chloe Grace Moretz

BEFORE: Emma Roberts knocked out another of the Lionesses Cheryl Cole back in November and she returns to action hoping to score a victory on the rebound against the seemingly less demanding Chloe Grace Moretz. The Atlanta native is several years younger than Cole but owns a much inferior record and the fact she just knocked out Carys Douglas last week changes absolutely nothing:

"I've heard all this talk that Chloe is about to turn a corner and become a contender! Yeah, right! She's got that next door feel about her but that suits the cannon fodder type in the boxing ring! She can knock out all these free agent wannabees but I'm the real deal! I gave her a call the other day and I'm ready to smash her into pieces! This will be sooo much fun!" (giggles).

Emma Roberts wears a pink crop top, white hotpants & pink gloves. Long dyed blonde hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Chloe Grace Moretz wears a navy blue crop top, black hotpants & blue gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Emma jumps into a blazing quick attack and dominates the initial jabbing drive outworking the younger blonde in the process. Chloe tries to swing over the top to neutralize those attacks but Emma blows more shots up the middle and gradually begins to push the Lioness fighter onto the ropes. Chloe is unable to match the New Yorker's intensity and drops behind an earmuff cover which only adds fuel to the Roberts fire. Bad idea, kid! Emma rattles the subdued foe from both flanks and tees off to knock her head off gasping in her high-octane efforts. Chloe weaves around on her feet but still gets trapped on the ropes and stands no chance of preventing a whitewash. Emma bends her to the side with a chooping harpoon at the bell and one has to wonder if Moretz isn't punching above her weight here... again!

Round 2:
Chloe gets more aggressive with her jabbing delivery and manages to stick a couple of promising shots on target to stop the fellow blonde in her tracks. Emma refuses to back off from the slugging plans though and rips more head-hunting menace hoping to break Moretz's resilience. She bounces off a stubborn guard and eats a scything double on the chin as her own high-guard briefly collapses for a change. Chloe adds more juice up the middle and knocks the older actress to her heels before drilling a nasty double on the liver area that folds Roberts into spasms. Ugh! Chloe gets carried away too much and clatters into her breasts with a wayward hook which only allows Emma to drag her into a stalemate clinch late on instead.

Round 3:
Emma tries to recover from that previous round but finds Chloe's new-found confidence a little too hot to handle in the early stages. The younger blonde develops an all-in approach against the odds and drills Emma straight up the middle forcing the Dollhouse girl to weave around in shear avoidance. One might expect Moretz to run out of steam here but she rises above those concerns and slams a left hook on the brow ridge that cuts Roberts and wobbles her onto the ropes. A desperate heave misses the target and leaves Chloe fuming while Emma tries to limit the losses and still engages in another back & forth tussle. She eats a quick double on the chin and gets spun around when Moretz nails her with another heavy cross right at the bell.

Round 4:
Carmen Electra doesn't like this sudden change of action and urges Emma to be more aggressive. Chloe has experienced her share of troubles in the ring and the sustained slugging pressure usually derails her peformance. Roberts reloads the jabbing charge and matches the younger blonde in a hectic back & forth display to open the round. Chloe tries to add more cuts to her opponent's face and her attacks become almost too predictable for Roberts not to take advantage. She runs up an uppercut stream to dissect the high guard and lands several crisp shots on the chin to break Moretz's stride. The younger blonde still owns the supreme mobility but a late-round retreat allows Emma to pull even on the cards.

Round 5:
Both women dish out high-powered blast trying to break each other as the fight remains too close to call for the betting favorite Roberts. She didn't beat Cheryl Cole to suddenly trip over the inferior Lioness after all. She whacks Chloe straight up and knocks heavy leather into her nose to sink the brave girl on soft knees and drives another vicious shot on the breasts that does the trick and wobbles the younger blonde into loud spasms. Emma hasn't explored that route too often before but she glues her mitts into Moretz's body now and pummels the ailing foe onto the ropes outright. Chloe sends a meaningful response from behind the guard but gets countered literally five seconds later and Emma cracks a massive right hook on the jaw to whip her on top of the ropes before driving a brutal shot straight into her solar plexus moments later... DOWN GOES MORETZ!!! The younger blonde crashes on her knees with merely six seconds left on the clock and gets a fortunate reprieve even though she actually recover at eight to show she wasn't exactly saved by the bell. Yeah, right!

Round 6:
Emma thinks she would have finished the job off without the clock expiring and she mounts immediate clean up storm before Chloe recovers from the knockdown any further. However she flies past the fellow blonde's head and eats a shocking right hook from the inside before Moretz cracks another cut above the right brow ridge and plucks a jabbing haze to lock the New Yorker in a vintage phone booth. Uh-oh! Guess that mandatory break did help Moretz a lot as she pummels her own dose of gut shots to drill Emma's solar plexus but finds more success when she laces her on the chin. Roberts refuses to back off with the finish line in sight.... and gets SMKOKED by a brutal right uppercut that shatters her jaw and slumps her into loud spasms. Chloe G. comes up with another left/right combo and glues the Dollhouse fighter to the spot before she drops a scything bomb on the nose that FOLDS ROBERTS DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!! Emma's eyes bawl out into the orbit and she remains motionless in spread eagle formation during a painfully long count. Carmen Electra cannot believe what just happened here! KO6 Chloe Grace Moretz in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: One might argue this is Chloe's biggest win since she stopped former champion Julianne Hough on Halloween night 2019! And she earned it the hard way indeed. Carmen Electra still argues Roberts would have won it if the clock didn't bail Moretz out at the end of the fifth round but it appears Jessica Lowndes isn't the only Lioness who can derail Emma's championship ambitions. We can't learn anything from the woman herself since poor Emma has to be stretched off into the locker room still feeling dazed & confused to quote the classic.

What next for Chloe G.? Too early to say and the Atlanta native admits she doesn't have anyone lined up right now: "Who knows? Maybe Front Street 3.0 gives me a call. I realize I need to cash in on this result so probably no more free agents on my schedule in the foreseeable future. But that's a good thing, right?" (laughs).
