(Emilia's Empresses vs Girls Friday)

Intro:
Anya Chalotra looks to claim the biggest scalp of her young career, former champion Kaya Scodelario meanwhile is wanting to build her way back into title contention after a rocky few months, who comes out on top of this all English clash?

Before the bout Anya was interviewed by FCBA Networks Alicia Atout at the Emilia Empresses gym, Anya finishes beating on the punch bag in front of the cameras, looking intense as sweat drips off her brow, once she finishes the workout, her demeanor changes as she smiles after wiping her brow with the back of her left glove, jogging over to Alicia looking excited to talk to her.

Anya tells Alicia "I am so glad to be back in this gym, it was nip and tuck there but I am so happy to be around friends and a wonderful manager, I am ready for this year with a smile" bumping her gloves as she looks excited.

The subject turns to this fight, Anya tells Alicia "I know Kaya is someone who enjoys ruffling feathers, I really don't care what she has to say about me, once we are in that ring I'll do my talking with these" raising her gloved fists up, Alicia nods with a smile before Anya is called over to do some sparring.

Kaya meanwhile has her stables assistant manager talking for her at their gyms office, Alicia looks a little puzzled as she can see on the floor below Kaya doing weights in her training session, till Melanie says "Kaya is focusing on getting back to the top, that means no distractions from the media sadly, though I am happy to talk about her to you" Alicia nodding as she turns back to Melanie.

Who then tells her "we are hoping finally Kaya can regain the bantamweight title, she has beaten so many of the top stars in the FCBA but can't seem to grasp that second title, all we can say is that she has been focusing on talking to the media too much when she needs to have her eyes on the prize" Melanie glances down at Kaya herself, a slight annoyed look peering through her stony demeanor.

When Alicia asks about Kaya's issue with her coach Hilary Swank, Melanie answers "I won't give you any headlines, Hilary and Kaya are doing just fine, when Kaya wins another title trust me Hilary will be right beside her" smiling as she holds her hand out to point to Alicia to the door, signalling the interview is over.

Fight night, out first comes Anya with her coach beside her, she is wearing a white sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves with gold thumbs, her hair is in a ponytail as she slides through the ropes into the ring, giving her cheering fans a wave at ringside before bouncing on her toes, looking serious knowing how big a step a win here would be for her.

Now here comes Kaya with Hilary and cut woman Eva Carneiro beside her, Kaya is wearing a black sports bra, black trunks with thin white pinstripes, black shoes, white gloves, while her hair is also in a ponytail, she gets into the ring eyeing up her opponent across the ring, a little grin on her face showing she doesn't seem to have that much respect for her.

The referee brings them to the center of the ring for the final instructions, both women square up with hands on their hips, Anya showing she won't be intimidated by her opponent, when told to touch gloves they bang theirs into their opponent's, nodding to each other as if to say it is on between them, returning back to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Kicking off the action behind their jabs, both are getting a feel for each other as they move around on their toes, eyes are locked from behind their gloves as they are focused, finding a few more gaps in the others defence allowing them to start opening up with two punch combos.

After the feeling out process seems over, maybe a little cockiness on Kaya's side as she steps in with a left hook that Anya sees coming, a double jab followed by a straight smacks Kaya straight into her face to make her regret that, with Anya picking her punches the better between them.

A left cross then smacks Anya to open her up to a straight on her chin, Kaya starting to get back on the front foot in this back and forth opener, Anya being pressed to the outside part of the ring, with both landing cleanly as they slug it out to the delight of the crowd.

Heading into the final minute, Kaya slips a straight to bang in a short right to the chest of Anya, a left hook then crashes to the side of the "Witcher" stars head as Kaya is now starting to open up on her, Anya shells up as her back touches the turnbuckles of a neutral corner, showing a good defence to protect herself mostly from the swarm of punches coming her way to the bell, Kaya looking happy enough with her opening round, even if Hilary isn't as much.

Round 2:
Back out they come with both slamming in stiffer shots to the others face, with Kaya dipping down to land a few hooks to the body of her opponent, getting clipping shots in return around the sides of her head as Chalotra isn't going to be bullied so easily.

Pushing Kaya off with her left forearm, Anya lands a right cross on the jaw of her opponent, a double jab then smacks Scodelario onto her nose, Anya looking to be getting the better of the exchanges after that, showing good hand speed to land two punches to Kaya's one.

The former champion looking a little annoyed, drilling in more punches around the chest of Anya, trying to disrupt the rhythm of her opponent, instead she eats a right hook on the chin when she goes for a downwards aimed jab, Anya drives Kaya onto the ropes with a four punch straight flurry.

Not long to go in the round, Kaya giving Anya a firm push to the chest, that seems to set things off as they nearly clash heads, fighting in tight as they slug it out, it seems to suit more Kaya's style but Anya is digging in, the bell rings with the referee stepping in to pry them apart, returning to their corners looking annoyed with each other, a great round for Chalotra is the main thing, her coach smiling at her as they discuss the positives of what happened.

Round 3:
They are up for this one as they pound in stiff combinations, Kaya though misses with a left cross, again not really aiming it as she overextends, getting punished by a counter one-two that snaps her head back, a right cross soon opens a cut on the bridge of Scodelario's nose to make her look even more pissed off.

The former champion being frustrated by Anya, who is boxing smartly, picking her targets the better of the fighters as Kaya looks rattled by this, Anya landing a double jab on that cut to make Kaya hiss, two hooks from Kaya find thin air as Anya dances out the way.

Kaya manages to cool down enough to time a nice attack, deflecting a jab to pound in a left into the lips of her opponent, followed by a right cross, she pushes Anya back towards a corner, again though she loads up too much on a right hook, Anya able to lean out the way in time, give Kaya a shove to her chest and get out into space.

As the round is coming to an end, Kaya is covering up more as Anya is really showing her confidence, throwing in crisp punches where she sees gaps, planting her feet more to generate power as she means business tonight, at the bell Anya can't help but smile as she returns to her stool, Kaya meanwhile is being given a stern telling off by Swank in her corner, Kaya taking a deep breath as she shakes her head at what is happening.

Round 4:
Banging her gloves together before she comes back out, Kaya looks fired up as they start off trading stiff shots, Kaya parries a jab to land a left hook on the jaw of her opponent, an uppercut doesn't land flush, it does make Chalotra back off as Scodelario comes on the front foot.

Herding Anya around near the ropes, it's like a switch has been lifted on Kaya's back, she is being more aggressive as she dictates the action, Anya having to fight off her back foot, giving Kaya a few good punches around that cut nose to stop the former champion over running her.

Going into the final minute of the round, Anya seems to have weathered the storm as she catches Kaya to her nose with a one-two, Kaya tightening her guard as Chalotra gets into space, with the freedom to move again she is throwing more combinations.

Final moments in the round, with Kaya swinging back, both going toe to toe to the delight of the crowd, at the bell Kaya turns and tells herself "come on" maybe realising she is in a real fight, Anya nodding as she looks at her coach, knowing she has let Kaya off the hook after having her under her thumb.

Round 5:
Anya is in early digging her jab towards that cut, wanting to keep Kaya on the back foot, she misses with a straight as Kaya dips down, an uppercut lands flush on Anya's chin to rock her head back, suddenly there's a little worry on the Empresses coaches face, seeing their girl get hammered back to the ropes.

Anya clinches up with Kaya, there's blood running from the bottom lip of Chalotra, the referee splits them up with Kaya quick to strike, a one-two knocks back the head of Anya, who is struggling to find a way to strike back, landing mostly glancing shots.

A right hook turns the head of Anya, it feels like Kaya is wanting to punish her for giving her so much trouble, Anya finding herself being knocked into her own corner, having to clinch again as she gets caught on her chin with a left hook then an uppercut, she looks a little shook up.

Shelling up as they resume, Anya can't seem to find her footing this round, when the round ends Anya gets cleaned up by her coach, Kaya sternly looking across the ring at her as she sits on her stool, most agreeing that now they have to be close on the scorecards as we head into the second half of the fight.

Round 6:
Coming back out trying to hurt Anya right away, Kaya swinging in hard hooks behind her jab now, Anya showing her footwork is still on point after being rattled the last round, trading stiff single punches into the others face, moving around the ring as they try to gain control of the action.

A missed straight by Kaya leads to her eating an uppercut flush on her chin that rocks her head back, a left hook then sends Kaya wobbling back towards the ropes, eyes wide on Scodelario as she looks dazed, ANYA HAPPILY STEPPING IN WITH A STRAIGHT ON THE TOP OF HER HEAD, THEN A RIGHT HOOK ON THE JAW SENDS KAYA TUMBLING DOWN ONTO HER RIGHT SIDE!

Anya takes a breath before walking to the neutral corner, hopeful she has done it now, 1...2...3... Kaya groans as she has her eyes shut, 4...5...6.. Rolling to her front, 7...8... Kaya gets to her right knee, 9.. Just beating the count! Kaya raises her fists, nodding that she wants to fight on, maybe the referee giving her the benefit of the doubt letting her fight on.

On comes Anya and it's clear right away that Kaya's guard is not blocking anything, a one-two snaps back Kaya's head as she stumbles to the ropes, A RIGHT HOOK SHAKES HER LEGS AND HERE COMES THE TOWEL FROM THE GIRLS FRIDAY CORNER! IT'S ALL OVER!

Winner Anya Chalotra TKO Round 6

After:
Anya finally scores the big win on her CV by beating a former bantamweight champion, turning her back on Kaya, she jumps for joy with her arms in the air, nodding to her coach as she walks back to her corner, getting a hug as the Emilia Empresses are definitely back with a bang.

Sitting on her stool getting cleaned up, Anya is told "that was brilliant, all that hard work over the holidays worked out" her coach smiling, Anya nods as she says "I'll keep winning for you guys" showing how much the Emilia's Empresses mean to her.

All the while Kaya goes onto her right knee shaking her head, she bats the right hand of Hilary away from her when Hilary comes to check on her, looking annoyed with her coach, Hilary shakes her head and actually leaves the ring, clearly sick of being blamed for Kaya's mistakes, Melanie Sykes will be furious watching this, seeing the issues between them play out in public, even as Hilary saved Kaya from more punishment as she looked ready to tumble with a light breeze.

Eva has to help Kaya back to her corner, Eva cleaning her up as she sulks, tossing her gloves to the canvas as she can't believe she lost, her only real win in the last few months was against Evangeline Lilly last month.

The winner meanwhile heads to the middle of the ring, Anya getting her left hand raised as she is buzzing, the crowd chanting her name as she looks to have a very bright future in the division, Kaya scowling at her from her stool showing one person doesn't agree.

Kaya heads out the ring when she feels better, Eva still walking closely with her to make sure she will be OK, Kaya seems to have a lot going on mentally right now, the way her and Hilary are with each other, not respecting her opponents, Melanie can't pin this loss on the media.

Someone with no weight on their shoulders is Anya, bowing to each side of the ring saying thank you to her fans for their support, this could be a massive year for her and her stable, she leaves the ring knowing that she can be the elite now, whose next for this prospect?
