Intro:
Round two in this brunette vs blonde rivalry, Dua Lipa is looking to even the score tonight against Georgia Mae Gibbs, who blasted out Dua back in 2019 with a knockout victory in eight rounds, the irony being how things changed, in that fight Dua was the Holloway fighter, now Georgia has firmly replaced her, can Dua give the British fans some success over an Australian for once lately?

Both women gave their thoughts on this fight to the FCBA Networks Layla Anna-Lee as they came into the arena, Dua holding her kit bag over her right shoulder as she wears a white tank top and black jogging bottoms to match her trainers, she smiles as she sees Alicia, giving her a warm hug.

"This fight is two years in the making for me, I'll be honest when the Holloway stable brought her in after I went to my current stable, it felt a bit of a dig at me, Georgia deserved to beat me the first time we clashed, this time she is going to suffer at my fists" says a fired up Dua, who keeps it short as she waves to Alicia and heads off to get sorted for this personal fight.

While Georgia looks relaxed as she heads in wearing a black hoodie and jeans, listening to music as she puts her bag down to pull her headphones off so she can talk to Alicia, jokingly saying "before you ask I wouldn't listen to that bytches music" winking as the interviewer grins in response.

"So it seems Dua holds a grudge against me, she isn't exactly my favourite person either, since I beat her ass she is the one I hear talked about, I didn't get the respect I deserved then, I am taking it now by force in this division" says Georgia, who clearly has her own chip on her shoulder, heading off to her own locker room.

Fighting time, out first comes Dua with coach Gisele Bundchen and cut woman Eva Carneiro behind her, she waves to the fans on her way down the aisle, she is wearing a black sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves with white gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail as she steps into the ring, Dua fist bumps Gisele as she looks ready for the fight.

Here comes Georgia with her corner team following, she blows kisses to the crowd as she struts down the aisle, she is wearing a white sports bra, matching shoes and gloves, white trunks with her surname in gold letters on the waistband, her hair also in a ponytail, stepping into the ring with her eyes locked onto her opponent, both women scowling across the ring at each other.

Brought to the medium of the ring, the fighters step together with glares aimed at their opponent, Georgia tells Dua "you won't make it to eight this time" which makes Dua grin, then fire back "I plan on knocking you out before then" causing a shoving match to break out, the referee gets between them and orders them to cool off, they return to their corners with their coaches telling them to keep their focus, the bell soon rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both are wading in on each other, tempers getting the better of them as they trade hard shots from the off, Georgia looking to have the edge in power, crashing a right cross on the chin of Dua, then muscling her onto the ropes, digging in shot body shots as Dua snarls at her.

Things get scruffy as they fight along the ropes, Georgia leaning with her head into Dua's, making the opening minute of the fight an uncomfortable one for the singer, who has to get her left forearm between them to create some space to whack in two short right crosses up top to get Georgia to back off her.

Again though Dua tries to match Georgia by getting in close, the blonde whacks her on the inside with a left to her ear before landing an uppercut that knocks Dua onto her heels, Gibbs stepping on the gas to snap back the head of Lipa with a clean one-two combo.

With not much left in the round Dua clinches up, starting a wrestling match as they nearly get tangled in the ropes, this first round isn't one for the purist as these two just wanna dominate their rival, referee struggling to split them up, with both letting their hands go till the bell rings to end the round, a great round for Georgia as she gets a pat on her back from her coaching team.

Round 2:
Dua comes out looking a little more apprehensive to get stuck in, Georgia certainly isn't as she rams a straight into the top of Dua's forehead, then lands a left hook across her face, Georgia starting to bully her rival to the outside part of the ring, where she is ramming hard shots through her mitts till she is held onto.

Another grappling match is broken up, with Dua doubling her jab up once the resume, maybe it's dawning on her she can't out muscle Georgia, who keeps on the aggressive route, both marking the others face up, neither have come with kid gloves for their opponent, they want to really hurt each other.

A jab opens up Dua to another right cross, she is not being given time to think, Gibbs has her on the ropes shelling up, the model swinging in hooks now, barking with effort to hurt the brunette, Dua needing to push Georgia away so she can move away from the ropes.

At the bell it is another dominant round for Georgia, who raises her right arm in the air as she heads to her corner, making sure Dua knows who is on top of this fight, Gisele giving Dua a pep talk, reminding her of her skills.

Round 3:
Again Gibbs is looking to pressure Dua from the off, she is starting to miss though as Dua is starting to use her footwork more, not staying as static in from of the blonde as she had been, with single punches slamming into cheeks to the delight of their corners.

A left hook misses as Dua sidesteps Georgia, instead a right hook slams into Georgia's solar plexus, that looks to have winded her as Dua slams in a one-two combo to her face that knocks her onto the back foot, Dua landing another sharp straight into her opponent's face to snap her head back.

Georgia for the first time in the fight finding herself being pushed around, she is landing some nice shots but is getting hit with more in return, the body shots seem to be hurting the model, Dua landing some nice power punches up to turn Georgia's head to the side.

Soon when the bell rings Georgia shakes her head looking to the heavens, wondering where the hell that round come from, Dua doesn't sit down as she looks excited now, her mojo back after starting so poorly, both women have fists raised just before the bell rings for the next round.

Round 4:
Out they come trading stiff punches to the others face, Georgia looks like she wants to up the tempo like the first two rounds, landing some glancing hooks as Dua smartly dances back, landing a stiff straight onto Gibbs nose to make her back off as Georgia looks annoyed.

Another mistake by Georgia as she misses a left cross, taking another left into her body, an uppercut lands flush into the solar plexus, Georgia is groaning as she is getting smacked into her body repeatedly, Georgia looks to not have so much power now, A RIGHT LANDS FLUSH ONTO HER LIVER, DOWN GOES GEORGIA ONTO HER KNEES HOLDING HER BODY!

Dua stares down at her with a real look of malice, referee nudging Dua to the neutral corner so the count can begin, 1...2...3... Georgia is sucking in air, left eye shut as she is hurting, 4...5...6... Georgia tries to push up to her right knee, 7...8.. She groans and falls back, eyes shut as her head tilts downwards, 9...10 it's over!

Winner Dua Lipa KO Round 4

After:
Dua yells "yes!" As she smiles, getting her win back against Georgia and maybe a measure of revenge, she heads over to the beaten fighter, looking at her as she tells Georgia "they really made a good choice picking you huh?" Giggling as she sees the pained look on Georgia's face.

Returning to her corner to be met with a hug by Gisele, Dua is told "don't let your emotions overcome you, you're a hell of a fighter when you are thinking" Dua smiling warmly as she nods, Eva helping her take off her gloves as Dua thanks them for their support.

Georgia on the other hand has an ice pack placed onto her stomach, slowly helped onto her stool as tears run down her eyes, the Holloway coach making sure to tell Georgia "just ignore her, she's jealous of you, next time you'll knock her head off" as Georgia wipes the tears away.

It still won't help her mood at all that Dua is heading to the middle of the ring now, the left hand of Dua being lifted in the air by the referee, Georgia mouthing "bytch" as she stares with fury in her eyes at Dua, this certainly isn't over for her between them, as she is helped out the ring.

Georgia gingerly walking up the aisle to the back, she can take solace that she started so strongly, losing her way with her own emotions getting the better of her, Georgia will be back with a point to prove in her next fight, her coach consoling her as they going through the curtain to the backstage area.

In the ring Dua bows to each side of the ring, smiling as she takes in the loud cheers of her fans, after finishing 2021 in a bad way, this will certainly have bolstered her confidence heading through this year, Dua leaving the ring with her coach, Dua wanting to prove she belongs at the top after years of being seen as a prospect.
