Intro:
Rematch time in the welterweight division as Ronda Rousey wants to even the score with Hilary Rhoda, they fought back in June last year, Hilary knocked out Ronda in five rounds, with Ronda's latest stable Stacey's Academy going under, she will have even more motivation to come out on top.

Both fighters gave their thoughts when the fight was announced, Hilary coming off her own disappointing loss to Amanda Righetti for the FCBA welterweight title, posted "New Year, back to the grind as the goal hasn't changed for me, I will get back the welterweight title and I start by taking Ronda's head off again, hopefully she learns us models aren't just good looking but deadly too."

While Ronda put on her own social media "back to being a free agent, back in the ring instead of training kittens to box, Hilary beat me last time by luck, this time I leave her laying faster then Righetti had her looking at the lights" Ronda stirring the pot as only she seems she can.

Fight night, first through the curtain onto the stage comes Hilary with her coach Rebecca Romjin and cut woman Eva Carneiro, Hilary takes a deep breath, looking fully focused as she marches down the aisle to the ring, her attire tonight is a black sports bra with white stripes down the sides, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves, hair in a ponytail as she steps through the ropes into her corner bouncing on her toes looking ready to get back on the winning path.

Someone else coming out with a steely gaze is Ronda, who marches down the aisle with her coach following behind her, she is wearing a red tartan kilt and black leather jacket as her fists are tapped, channeling her hero Roddy Piper, the jacket and kilt come off as she stands outside the ring near her corner, revealing a white sports bra with "rowdy" in orange letters across the front, red trunks with her surname down the side in gold letters, black shoes, when she steps into the ring Ronda gets on her red gloves as her hair is braided, she pounds her chest with her left glove as she gives Hilary a menacing stare.

The fighters come together at the center of the ring, referee staying between them as both look at their opponent with malice, when told to touch gloves, there's a crack of leather as they thud them into their rivals set, jogging back to their corners to cheers, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Both coming out towards the middle, Hilary looking to control the range right away as she starts firing in one-two's, Ronda moving her head to dodge, taking cuffing shots as she looks for ways to get in closer to land her power shots.

After being denied for the first thirty seconds, Ronda times it right to dip under a jab to hammer in two short right hooks to the body, an overhand left just misses as her taller opponent leans back out the way, a straight smacking Ronda to the top of her head to give Hilary some extra space.

It's clear though as they fight around the ring that Rousey won't be deterred so easily, keeping on the front foot forcing the issue, both women trading stiff punches that cause cracks to echo, neither holding back much tonight.

The final minute sees Ronda bullrush Hilary as she dips under a right cross, pushing her onto the ropes, where she lands two overhand lefts till Hilary covers up top, then it's back to the body for the former UFC champion, who looks in her element as Hilary is groaning with each clean hit till the bell, Ronda jogging back to her corner looking in a mean mood tonight.

Round 2:
Doubling up her jab to try to counteract Ronda, Hilary is also moving more side to side, giving the smaller fighter a little more trouble as she bashes Ronda on each cheek and around her forehead, still Ronda is landing some nice straight body shots as she looks to cut the model down to her size.

A missed overhand right by Rousey leaves her open to a one-two to the side of her head, a right hook knocks Ronda onto her heels as she now gets to remember that Hilary has a little juice behind her own punches, with the brunette working back Ronda to the outside of the ring.

Ronda now needing to tighten her guard as she moves more side to side, trying to get away from the ropes as they exchange shots, Hilary looking more comfortable now, acting like the Queen of the castle, holding the center beautifully.

Till late in the round when a straight sails over the head of Ronda, who steps inside to bang a right into the abs of Hilary, an overhand left followed by an uppercut knocks Rhoda onto her heels, Ronda driving forwards with body shots, the bell rings to end the round with Hilary shoving off Ronda, both scowling before they turn on their heels back to their corners, getting wiped down by their corner teams.

Round 3:
Stepping back out their corners, they both exchange at midrange as Ronda is trying to push the tempo up a notch, snarling as they land hard shots that sends a little sweat off their toned opponents, Hilary landing a nice double jab to force Ronda back a step, missing with the follow up right hook as Ronda gets her glove up in time.

After a closely fought opening forty seconds, Ronda dips under a right to bang in a left that looks close to the waistband of her opponent's trunks, referee warning Ronda to watch where she hits, right now all Ronda is thinking about is driving Hilary back to a corner.

Hilary grabs Ronda into a clinch by dragging her into a front headlock, the referee dragging them apart warning Hilary to keep it clean, they start up again with Ronda trying to keep on the front foot, but is getting clipped across her face as Hilary moves more to not be bulldozed again by Ronda.

The final moments of the round sees Ronda getting clipped across her temples, she ducks a right cross before landing two hard hooks to the body, nearly clashing her head into Hilary's chin as she drives her towards the ropes, soon the bell rings with Ronda looking back on top, Hilary cursing herself under her breath, not wanting any flash backs of last months loss here tonight.

Round 4:
Ronda again is wanting to press the action, getting in several good body shots that are keeping Hilary on her back foot, a shove opens up space between them as Hilary moves away from the ropes, with Ronda thudding her gloves together as she stalks after the model.

A missed straight opens up Ronda to a counter left across her cheek, then a right smacks Rousey into her face, knocking back the fighting legend onto her heels, driving Ronda around by the ropes, Hilary keeping her opponent stuck on the ropes with her eyes locked on her opponent.

A straight knocks Ronda's head back, with Hilary banging in a left then a right hook, Ronda clinching up to Hilary, the model leaning onto Ronda, with the referee needing to break them up with Ronda looking furious as she comes back at Hilary, both landing hard shots as they let their hands go.

Pushing back Ronda as Hilary gets smacked to her sides, a double jab smacking Ronda onto the top of her head, when the bell rings Ronda heads back to her corner with a little mouse forming under her left eye, Hilary glaring over at Ronda, fist bumping Rebecca before the start of the next round.

Round 5:
Coming back to fight with Ronda getting caught more as her guard opens up, stepping in with two body shots that make Hilary grunt out, a right hook catches Ronda around her eye, making her wince as she steps back with a left hook cracking Ronda around her temple.

That looks to have put Ronda on shaky legs, Hilary slamming punches square into the face of Ronda, knocking the small fighter back, Ronda swings in a left hook that misses, A LEFT HOOK ROCKS ROUSEY, THEN A RIGHT HOOK TURNS HER AROUND BEFORE SHE COLLAPSES ON HER FRONT!

Hilary raising her arms in the air before marching to the neutral corner, 1...2...3.... Ronda groaning as she is laying on her face, 4...5...6... Ronda's coach tapping the apron to try to get her to get up, 7...8... But Ronda isn't stirring, 9...10 Ronda is out for the count!

Winner Hilary Rhoda KO Round 5

After:
Hilary raises her arms in the air as she yells "come on!" Ronda rolling onto her back, covering her eyes with her right glove, Hilary stepping over to her, posing with her right foot on her chest, arms flexed to make sure Ronda knows whose on top of this feud.

The winner returning to her corner to be given a fist bump off Rebecca, with Hilary getting a hug from Eva, Hilary getting cheers and chants from her fans, after getting her gloves taken off she waves to them to show her thanks for their support.

Ronda on the other hand gets helped up to her feet by her coach, she still is shaky as she is placed on her stool, head down looking at her gloves, wondering what the hell happened tonight, her coach trying to console her as she shakes her head.

Helped out of the ring by her coach, Ronda is helped up the aisle, some people don't exactly seem sympathetic as they boo her, others telling Ronda they love her, she doesn't seem to care as she tells her coach "I'll f**king show them all" showing her fighting spirit isn't gone yet.

In the ring Hilary gets her left arm raised, she waves to the crowd as she goes on a lap of honour, she then leaves the ring with her corner crew, Rebecca telling her "we'll get the title back, just gotta be patient" with Hilary replying "I'm done being patient, I am going to smash my way to the top" making Rebecca smile as she likes the fire she sees.
