Before:

Welterweight action tonight sees a rematch of two of the top fighters in the FCBA. Emily DiDonato fought Brooklyn Decker in the blonde’s debut for Lioness Club of America while it was the third fight of the brunette’s career, and the fight went to Decker. This will be DiDonato’s 55thfight since their last meeting in 2017, and plenty has changed. Decker won the welterweight title in 2020 and DiDonato won the lightweight title in 2020 and the JMDD title in 2021. The two women combine for 100 wins and 39 losses, and while Emily may be a lightweight, the brunette has scored wins over Courtney Tailor and Kate Upton, and is not afraid of the welterweights. With a win tonight, Brooklyn would reach her 60thwin and would be one fight closer to the hall of fame.

The press conference is buzzing as the two models enter as some around the FCBA are calling it the potential fight of the night even without any titles on the line. Both women embrace before taking their microphones, the two on good terms.

“Let me say that Emily is a totally different fighter now than when we last fought,” Brooklyn tells the press, “She defeated the champion with the most straight title defenses in lightweight history and won the JMDD title. I last fought her when she had no wins, no she has 41. But tonight I am going to prove that in the five years since we fought, I also got better and I am still the better fighter.”

“Brooklyn is a top tier fighter, she won the welterweight title and is a surefire future hall of famer. But tonight, I am going to show why I am the elite fighter I am. I lost to Brooklyn before. I will not lose to her again.”

Round 1:

DiDonato shows no fear and goes right for Decker, catching the blonde off guard as the brunette works Decker around the ring, tagging the blonde’s body with rights and lefts. Brooklyn protecting her head and weathering the brunette’s storm before planting her feet and trading back. Brooklyn lands a right into Emily’s torso and the brunette girl groans as she drops back. Decker shoots out a left that bounces off of DiDonato’s gloves before the blonde follows up with a right. Emily dodges the blow and comes back with a right of her own that tags Brooklyn in her face. Decker quick on the clinch and the referee separates the two girls. Decker circles as DiDonato works her jab, but the brunette does not break through the blonde’s guard before the bell. The first round goes to Emily on points.

Round 2:

Emily picks up where she left off and goes straight after Brooklyn, but the blonde is ready and rocks the younger model with a right! On comes Decker as she buries leather into DiDonato’s body and knocks her back into the ropes as the blonde shows off her power. DiDonato rocked by a pair of rights and she throws her arms around Decker to force a break. Brooklyn chases after Emily after the break and works over the younger model’s body as Emily covers up. DiDonato plants her feet and lands a right into Brooklyn’s chest and follows up with a short left. Emily steps forward but the blonde snaps the brunette’s head back with a right and Emily covers up again as Brooklyn hammers on her body. The bell rings and the blonde evens up the fight.

Round 3:

Decker hitting her stride in the third as she muscles the lighter woman around the ring. DiDonato may have beaten some of the best welters, but she does not have true welterweight power and the brunette girl gives up space early. Decker goes for a right cross but DiDonato snaps a right into Decker’s face and Brooklyn goes on the defensive. Emily may not have true welterweight power, but the girl has enough strength that she can dish out a beating and she works Brooklyn’s body. Decker lets out a groan as DiDonato finds her ribs and the blonde clinches. Emily goes right after Brooklyn after the break – and takes a right to her chin! DiDonato nearly goes down as Decker connects with a right strike and the brunette is covering up and hanging on to the bell. Brooklyn punishing Emily’s body as the bell saves the brunette, but DiDonato is clearly hurting as she sucks in air on the way to her corner.

Round 4:

Decker brings the pain to start the fourth as she pounds DiDonato’s body. Brooklyn smashes a right through Emily’s guard and into her chest before driving a left into her jaw. DiDonato on wobbly legs as she retreats and on comes Decker, the blonde beating DiDonato into the ropes. Emily bounces back – and she gets dropped by a right from Brooklyn! Emily on the canvas early as Brooklyn makes her way to the corner. DiDonato lifts her head up to see the ref counting and the brunette pushes herself up at the count of eight to beat the count. The ref gives her the mandatory and waves Brooklyn back in. Decker swings with a big right but DiDonato blocks the blow and connects with a right of her own. Emily works a quick left to knock Brooklyn back, but the brunette goes no further. The bell rings and Brooklyn takes the first knockdown of the fight and the fourth round on points.

Round 5:

Brooklyn settling into a rhythm and she works Emily backward. DiDonato knows she is running out of room and plants her feet before launching a right-left combo at Decker’s head. Emily’s right misses but the right but the left blow hits Brooklyn in her chin. DiDo follows up with a left into Decker’s torso and Brooklyn lets out a groan as Emily buries leather into her body. DiDo works the blonde back and pounds a right into Decker’s solar plexus and a shout escapes the blonde! Decker clinches but she is hurting. Brooklyn puts her guard up and jabs to keep DiDonato at a distance but the brunette darts in and tags the blonde’s body. The bell rings and gives Brooklyn a break, but Emily surges back to take the fifth and the momentum.

Round 6:

DiDonato looking like the fighter that defeated Taylor Swift and Kate Upton as she starts the sixth as she dances around Decker. Brooklyn noticeably moving slower and Emily drives lefts and rights into Brooklyn’s midriff. The blonde groans as the brunette hammers her torso and DiDonato starts breaking down her guard. Emily splits Brooklyn’s guard with two blows and the brunette tees off on the blonde’s head and the ref is not getting involved! Brooklyn gets her gloves back up and punches back at Emily’s body, but DiDonato takes the blows and connects with a hook behind the blonde’s guard. Brooklyn is staggered and Emily connects with two straights through Brooklyn’s faltering guard and down goes Decker! The blonde girl hits the canvas and the brunette is quickly to the corner. The ref counts over Brooklyn, the blonde dragging herself closer to the ropes. She gets a glove on the bottom rope, but the ref’s already at a count of seven! Brooklyn grabs a hold with her other hand, but she can’t beat the ref’s count! Your winner by KO6, Emily DiDonato!

After:

Five years after their first meeting Emily evens the score with Brooklyn, and tell Fates Emily may be a welterweight contender. She’s beaten Kate Upton and Courtney Tailor in conventional fights before and just took down Decker. The brunette lets the medical staff tend to the blonde before she goes over and hugs the blonde. DiDo helps Decker to her feet and raises the blonde’s right arm, drawing cheers from the crowd. The two girls embrace again and Emily heads to the press conference.

“I proved the doubters wrong tonight,” Emily says, “Five years ago, Brooklyn beat me. Tonight I beat her and showed that I am a different fighter now. Brooklyn is one of the best fighters in the FCBA, and she will be back soon.”

Decker speaks to the press minutes later, “I wish I won.” Brooklyn says, “I had her early. But Emily is tough and she showed why she is one of the best fighters in the FCBA right now. We are 1-1. I’m going to fight other girls, but I don’t think this is the last time I am in the ring with her.”
