Cierra Ramirez vs Camila Mendes
(Latina Knockouts vs Odds & Ends)

Before: "Cierra has been dodging me for some time now. I was her first glance at a world class fighter, and after I sent her to snooze land, I haven't heard from her until now. I don't know what changed her mind to call me out, but my guess is she likes going to bed early." Mendes is first with the word warfare.

Cierra sits across on the other table holding the mic in her hand.

"I'm not one to talk sh*t and be petty out here. I like to do the talking in the ring and that's exactly what I'll do!"

Mendes chuckles at Cierra's statement.

"Girl you don't talk because you can't. You're living off of two wins over two old ladies. When you face women like me, you crumble! You're a future jobber, a simple journey woman for true contenders to beat. Your record says it all. 8-8 Haha! After tonight, I won't hear your name ever again, that's a promise!"

Fight night is here and the ladies are ready to come out for their fight. First is Mendes walking into the ring sporting a two piece pink, colorful bikini, paired up with white gloves. Her hair tied into a simple ponytail. Next is Cierra, and she wears a green two piece bikini, black gloves with red, white and green stitching, finished up with her hair tied into a clean bun. Both bounce on their toes, ready to get it on!

Round 1: These Latinas waste no time going at it, trading stiff jabs in the center of the ring. Camila lands the first big blow of the fight right into Cierra’s midsection. She follows up with a good one-two to the chin that backs Cierra up. 2 minutes into the fight and Camila seems to have established herself as the dominant fighter so far. Eventually she gets Ramirez backed into the ropes where she begins to tear her opponent down. Cierra counters and lands a clean right hook to the cheek but Mendes just eats it and punishes Ramirez to the body again. Cierra with the clinch right away to avoid further damage. The ref breaks them apart, but just then the round finishes, with Mendes being the more aggressive fighter of the two.

Round 2: Mendes comes in bouncing on her toes looking fresh, clearly confident after the first round. They meet at the center of the ring and Camila launches a haymaker of a right to the head trying to catch Ramirez off guard but she does a wonderful job of parrying the punch with her left glove and counters with her own right hand to the nose. Camila winces in pain as she backs off to create some space. But Cierra lunges in and gives her two uppercuts to the body followed by a hook to the jaw that have Mendes reeling towards the ropes. Cierra jabs to the head a couple of times before Camila counters with two straight punches to her breasts. Cierra, not too happy, throws a combo of her own to Camila’s juggs. They trade punches again at the center of the ring just as the bell rings but it looks like Cierra did enough to take this round.

Round 3: Camila goes back to what was giving her success in the first round, and that is to be more aggressive than her opponent. So she comes out guns blazing early in the round. Cierra has other plans though, she moves around, displaying good footwork, evading the incoming attacks and landing the counters that are giving her the points. She finally puts a good amount of force to a check hook that's followed by a crisp uppercut to the chin and Mendes is on wobbly legs. She does the chicken dance for a moment until her fit legs manage to regain balance as she puts her guard higher up. Cierra starts to work the body, backing her up into the ropes where she unleashes rights and lefts. Then she goes upstairs and attacks the head going in for the kill. Mendes barely stays up, getting held up by the ropes, her head getting smashed from side to side but the bell rings and she sighs with relief. A few more seconds and she could’ve ended up on the canvas. Cierra walks back to her corner, raising her hand, rallying up the crowd that came to see her win.

Round 4: Camila comes out more cautious now, after the talk she had with her corner during the break. Cierra with the same plan to stay back and counter with power. They circle at the center of the ring, neither one of them deciding to pull the trigger just yet. And this starts to bother the crowd as boos can be heard all throughout the arena! Two minutes in and Camila weaves in with a feint jab, followed by a left hook, Cierra counters the jab and also hooks and they both hit the target! Both women look hurt, but Cierra is the one that backs off. Camila lands a straight right to the mouth, Cierra’s head pounces backwards. She returns the favor and throws a left that catches Mendes on the forehead but the power just isn't there. They both trade fire, but Cierra can't seem to handle the strength of Camila. Cierra’s face looks battered towards the end of the round, even though they both got caught with punches. On damage alone, Mendes takes the round.

Round 5: Ramirez guard hangs low at the beginning of the round. Her gas tank is low, and her bloody nose isn’t helping her breath any better. Camila sees this as an opportunity to break her apart. She jabs twice to the nose, and unleashes a huge uppercut to the Solar plexus. Cierra is aired out in the middle of the ring and Camila comes in like a predator. Cierra is a warrior though, fighting back as she is being walked straight into a corner. She works her butt off to get back into this fight but her effort is nullified by Camila's defense. Between all of the chaos, Cierra lunges in with a heavy right hand that misses and she runs straight into a counter over hand left that lands right on the button. Mouthpiece goes flying right out of her mouth, Cierra's arms drop to her sides, legs lock up, her torso folds forward at the waist right before tilting straight back crashing flat on her back! Her arms rest on her sides and her eyes are a fluttering mess. Ref begins the count but it's obvious that Ramirez isn’t getting up. History repeats itself once again, CAMILA MENDES KNOCKS CIERRA RAMIREZ OUT IN JUST FIVE ROUNDS!!

After: Camila jumps onto the turnbuckle and raises her gloves dedicating her win to her fans. She then turns her attention to her sleeping foe. She walks up to her and places her foot on Cierra’s belly as a victory pose. Ramirez slowly regains consciousness, moaning in pain as she rubs her jaw with her eyes still closed. Three consecutive knockout losses isn’t a good look for the Latina Knockouts starlet, maybe its time she takes a small break. Meanwhile, Mendes has a good start to the new year with two straight Wins over tough opponents. The future is looking bright for her!
