BEFORE: One might argue Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader doesn't need to follow on reigning lightweight champion's taunting but she wants to remove all doubts that she deserves the next shot at Holly Peers' straps later this month. Karolina Kurkova has seen better days during her boxing career but she's as tough gatekeeper as they come out there and she hopes to spoil the American's party tonight as we're ready for another beach boxing showdown in the otherwise neutral Dubai setting. Nader knocked out Kurkova's stablemate Yasmin Verheijen last month and she's full of confidence she can take down the lanky blonde as well. BBU TV's Denise van Outen agrees with those odds but still hopes to see a true battle of attrition tonight.

Karolina Kurkova wears a light blue bikini set & white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Brooks Nader wears a brown bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Both women are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Karolina cranks up the early volume and Brooks almost gives up on her slugging efforts hoping to see what the Czech veteran brings to the table. She allows Karolina to smack her around but most of these punches bounce off the stubborn high guard and fail to make a desired impact. Brooks weaves around on her feet and works the single overhand before a looping hook catches the blonde on the ear and triggers a hectic dust-up in the center of the ring. Both women drop some body shots in the phone booth before Brooks shoves the older model back and misses on the reach. Karolina manages to swing a promising left hook that finds the brunette's mouth and she takes it from there bashing Nader onto the ropes where she cleans out her stomach to secure the first round on points. Brooks gives her a lenghty stare after the bell but keeps her emotions down during the interval.

Round 2:
Kurkova roars into another jabbing attack but struggles to deliver the power supply and has to fend off an overhand burst as Brooks quickly abandons the "wait & see" approach here and begins to stack up some hard leather into the blonde's face. Karolina accepts the slugging challenge but only lands some single punches during a high-octane series and gets outworked in point-blank range. Ugh! Brooks wobbles her on the heels and powers ahead with more head shots on target to the point she cuts the Czech veteran under both eyes before clobbering her butt-in-ropes wholesale. Karolina tries to find her range but simply can't match the American's intensity and bellows out behind a tight earmuff to hang on for the bell.

Round 3:
Brooks rolls out with more head-hunting menace while Karolina hopes to catch her with a counter-punching series but to no avail... she eats a wild hook on the brow ridge instead and slumps into loud spasms which only fuel the American's charge. Brooks locks the veteran down in another phone booth trap and shakes off a clinching attempt before working the uppercut route to beat Kurkova onto the ropes. Woof! Karolina swings from behind the guard but slices thin air while Nader keeps working on her swollen face during a speedy run before easing off the pressure come the final minute. Kurkova cuts a rather dejected figure once she realizes there's a huge gash developing under her left eye and she offers little aggression thereafter while Brooks knocks her head back to complete the rout.

Round 4:
Brooks flies with another left/right hook and she squashes the blonde's lips into more swelling during a ruthless slugfest in the opening minute. Kurkova does her best to match the American's intensity but eats a left hook on the ear and slumps forward to meet a crushing uppercut on the chin that SENDS HER FACE-DOWN ON THE SAND moments later. Ugh! Brooks struts back to her corner while Karolina tries to battle back from the knockdown but she can only sit down on her heels at eight and the merciless count passes her by much to the crowd's disappointment. KO4 Brooks Nader!!!

AFTER: It's clear Brooks is a level above the Czech veteran these days but is she ready to kick Holly Peers off the lightweight throne? That riddle will be solved later this month as This Is Glamour entourage confirms the upcoming championship bout on social media few minutes after Nader's arm is raised on the Dubai sands.
