BEFORE:

"It's great to get another shot here," says Rose with a smile. "I think I acquitted myself pretty well the last time. And, maybe, in against a former Unified Flyweight Champion, I'll turn some heads THIS time."

"She can fight, no doubt about it," says Kristen. "She gave Billie a battle, and lots of girls haven't been able to do that. She's going to beat people if she gets chances. But, she's NOT going to beat ME."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Demon Days' by Wild Horses, and here comes Kiwi beauty Rose McIver!"

Cassie: "Did you HAVE to mention that Rose is from New Zealand? Now we'll all have to hear about how BIG Mac is down there..."

McCarthy: "I literally CAN NOT walk the STREETS! I'd be MOBBED by thousands of screaming fans like the Beatles! And, shut UP, Scabbo!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Rose into the ring and helped off with the robe, and she's looking fetching in that orchid number we saw the last time she was here. And, SPEAKING of the Beatles, that's 'Helter Skelter' you hear behind us, and here comes 'The Five-Tool Player' Kristen Stewart!"

McCarthy: "A REAL fighter. UNlike that Dancing Hooker whose name is going to be MUDD when I'm finished with her!"

Tess: "Um, her name actually IS Mudd..."

McCarthy: "YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN...AND SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as K-Stew climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that lime green number she likes. And, the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes K-Stew. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Stewart!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous in the first, and Stewart right to the jab as we get underway. She's got the reach here and wants to use it, but Rose working inside behind a high guard, going body. McIver tying up in there, shoving and shouldering, wrestling K-Stew, doing anything she can to make the taller girl uncomfortable..."

Tess: "Makes sense. She's not going to outbox Stewart at range..."

O'Dell: "Definitely not, so why not try something else. And, McIver smart in there. This may be only her second FCBA fight, but she's 33 and has plenty of experience at lower levels, and you're seeing that now. She's working in a half crouch, banging body, using the shoulders and forearms..."

McCarthy: "Just SLOPPING in there, K-Stew will take care of THIS..."

O'Dell: "Maybe, but not at the moment. Instead, it's the Kiwi who's in control in there. She's definitely getting the better of things as Stewart now starts working for space, but she's still not getting any. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell. Excellent opener for McIver, who takes it wide..."

Cassie: "And, Rose leads 10-9."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and McIver determined to take the fight to Stewart inside, and, against the odds, Rose able to get in there and crowd K-Stew. Stewart again fighting with, getting to work in the phone booth rather than trying to get space and get to ranged boxing for some reason..."

Cassie: "Not sure why, either. This isn't Kris' game, though she's shown she can play it..."

O'Dell: "But, not as well as McIver can, at least for the moment. Rose sturdy below the waist, hard to move in there. She's banging body, levering, upstairs and then down, staying on the offensive and keeping K-Stew off balance, at least for the moment. NICE shot to the tummy right there by the Kiwi!"

McCarthy: "Kid really aggressive in there right now."

O'Dell: "But soundly so, working out of that half crouch, making herself hard to hit. She's willing to tie up in there, even though Stewart is usually able to wrestle free. Ten seconds to go in another phone booth round. Good right from Stewart, her best punch of the fight, but there's the bell and it's Rose wide again."

Tess: "And, McIver doubles her lead to 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "K-Stew to the jab early. She's moving the feet now, giving a little ground, working that left hard to get some space. McIver looking to close, but now she's not getting it done. Instead, it's Kristen keeping the Kiwi at range with the left, then dropping in solid right hands..."

McCarthy: "TOLD you K-Stew would figure this out!"

O'Dell: "McIver angling, gets inside, works some body. We're back in the booth, but Stewart shoving off, circling away, getting back to the jab. We've gone from McIver getting her terms to both fighters working for terms and it's made a difference. We've got ourselves a two-way round for the first time..."

Tess: "And, give McIver credit, she's still working the plan. Not getting flustered or frustrated..."

O'Dell: "Again, she's no kid. She's been boxing awhile, just hasn't had chances up here. And, she's making the most of this one. Stewart doubling up on the jab, landing a solid combination. Rose inside, works body, then back to the head and there's the bell. Close. But Stewart's on the board."

Cassie: "But Rose still leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins with the ladies working to get terms again. Stewart on the outside with the left hand. She can dominate from here and we've seen many times. McIver in that half crouch, working forward, getting in K-Stew's grill and going body in a major way..."

Cassie: "Key thing here is Rose keeps working, keeps moving the feet, and commits to the body."

O'Dell: "No doubt. You see a lot of fighters working hard with the feet early, and, as the fight goes on and they start to tire, it becomes more straight line stuff. But, McIver still very sound, still working very hard, and it shows. Good right for Stewart in there, and Kristen circles away, but Rose right back at her..."

Tess: "McIver's staying in that half crouch, too. Not straightening up at all..."

O'Dell: "Which is another thing some fighters tend to do as they tire. But, not the Kiwi, at least not yet. She's back in the phone booth, levers Stewart with the shoulder, lands a good hook to the tummy. Kristen shoves off, circles away, lands a quick combination at the bell. Close again. Rose."

McCarthy: "And, McIver's up 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with Stewart giving a little ground, doubling up on that jab, keeping McIver at range. Kristen showing more bounce, more movement, working the feet and hands. Rose trying to close, get inside where she can work, but it's not happening at the moment..."

McCarthy: "TOLD you K-Stew would deal with this..."

O'Dell: "Kristen popping that jab in McIver's face, splitting gloves with it when Rose gets the mitts high and close. She's hooking some body off the left hand, putting together combinations, tossing the Kiwi to the defensive. Rose getting backed up with some HARD flurries now..."

Tess: "Got to be careful here. Stewart's looking to take her out of there..."

O'Dell: "Looks like that's exactly what K-Stew is doing. Rose backed up again with a hard combination. Kristen stepping in behind it, landing a sharp right hand. Ten seconds to go. McIver not hurt, but she's backed up again with a combination and there's the bell. Not close this time. K-Stew."

Cassie: "And, Stewart is back within one, down 48-47."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Stewart the one coming forward now. She's landing that hard, accurate left and walking the Kiwi down behind it. Rose not able to hold ground let alone come forward and get inside. McIver reduced to countering in spots, and she's doing that well. But, Stewart the one fighting lead now..."

Cassie: "K-Stew's just stepped up to another level. She's adjusted and taken over."

O'Dell: "Has, indeed, as as we move toward the mid-point of the sixth, she's in firm control. McIver still game, but she's not getting much done at the moment. Doesn't seem to have an answer for the more aggressive K-Stew and ROSE IS HURT BY A RIGHT HAND! McIver wobbled and DROPPED BY A THREE-PUNCH COMBINATION!"

Tess: "And that might do it..."

O'Dell: "Kristen to a neutral corner. Rose flat on her back staring up at the referee. Count at three. Four. Five. McIver rolling to her belly at six. Seven. Eight. Pushing up to hands and knees and SINKING BACK TO THE CANVAS! Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is 'The Five-Tool Player', Kristen Stewart!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Kristen Stewart, and, Kris, that was no walkover..."

Kristen (nodding): "It was never going to be. This girl has talent, she just hasn't gotten opportunities, that's all. But, everyone saw what she can do."

Cassie: "But, in the end, you took her out of there..."

Kristen: "Well, that was always going to happen. Just a matter of me finding what worked and then executing that. And, once I got going, she wasn't going to have an answer. Because, I'm the best flyweight in the FCBA, you know?"
