BEFORE: Former lightweight champion Rochelle Humes returns to action in order to reclaim the belts she held over ten years ago during The Saturdays' initial stardom period. Fellow bandmates Una Healy and Vanessa White provide the support however most fans believe the Essex singer doesn't require any subtitles to defeat the American prospect Scarlett Leithold tonight.

The blonde model from California doesn't fight an easy schedule which probably reduces her net ranking value right now however she won't enjoy a better chance of taking down a former champion anytime soon and quality of a single victory is sometimes more important than a string of wins over subpar opponents. Scarlett follows this high-risk, high-reward strategy on purpose.

Rochelle Humes wears a pruple & blue crop top, matching hip-huggers & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a loose bun at the back of her head. Scarlett Leithold wears a light blue bikini set & black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Rochelle is slow to get off the mark and the blonde delivers the initial jabbing burst to set the early tone. She splits the singer's high guard and glues her mitts into her face trying to score as many hard punches on target before Humes finds her rhythm. The one-sided attack drops the former champion onto the ropes with her bandmates still not overreacting to the experience but Scarlett does her best to smack the Brit around; she shakes off the clinching attempt and drills the exposed midsection before working the uppercut drill to bury Rochelle behind a desperate earmuff wholesale. Ugh! More vicious hits follow as Leithold drills through the midriff again and leaves Humes slumped in visible pain at the bell.

Round 2:
Scarlett gets the early jump in the second again and rattles Rochelle up the middle knocking her on each temple to drop the former champion into a steady retreat before too long. The blonde model follows through with another head-hunting charge but struggles to connect with her punches and allows Humes to display superior footwork and limit the damage come the second minute. However Leithold stays in the slugging mood and keeps swinging around the singer's head until she backs her onto the ropes where she switches low to punish the midsection. Rochelle fires back over the top but only connects with a couple of single punches and has to concede this round as well with Una & Vanessa looking somewhat upset over in the The Saturdays corner.

Round 3:
Rochelle moves into more aggressive jabbing and knocks the blonde's head back but fails to give her more trouble in a close range dispute so Scarlett comes back spraying vicious hooks into the singer's face. Ugh! Rochelle slumps on her knees but tries to land a classic haymaker against the script only for Leithold to step into a right hand on the chin that drops Humes into immediate spasms. She's too slow to raise her arms and the blonde NAILS her with a brutal right hook on the jaw again. DOWN GOES ROCHELLE!!! Uh-oh! Some angry screams from Una & Vanessa in the corner but the former champion has to gather her thoughts here and fast! She gets up at seven and pretends not to be affected by the knockdown however Scarlett is all over her in no time and pummels her onto the ropes blasting more hard shots on the exposed ribcage; she slumps Rochelle into loud spasms but runs out of time to knock her out and cuts a frustrated figure at the bell leaving Humes with a hollow look in her eyes.

Round 4:
Rochelle tries to salvage some pride here but she runs into another jabbing buzzsaw as Scarlett resumes the head-hunting pounce and knocks her around the area before locking the singer into another trap along the ropes. She drills Rochelle's ribcage and makes her wince in visible plain before a one-two combo on the chest sends the Brit into complete disarray. Humes tries to clinch the charging model but eats a stray elbow to the boobs and fails to embrace a wicked hook on the solar plexus that FOLDS HER DOWN ON THE KNEES just past the one-minute mark. Ugh! Rochelle bends her head against the canvas and stays down on all fours during the count sending The Saturdays corner into an epic meltdown moments later. It is over! KO4 Scarlett Leithold!!!

AFTER: This is a genuine upset according to many fans but some pundits believe Rochelle simply underestimated her tonight's opponent. More gym work and less sitting on morning TV couch shold be enough to re-discover the old flame so it's way too premature to write the former champion off at this stage. Meanwhile Scarlett vows to accept any further challenge and even teases Una Healy over a sparring contest but the Irish woman isn't too keen to try her chances at catchweight anytime soon.
