Brie Larson versus Olivia Munn

Larson 5’7”, never champ, 24-10, Lookout - Cat Bell and Nichole Kidman
Munn 5'4", bantamweight champ, 36-33, Sceej.

Matchup between two bantams looking to move up in the rankings. Lookout's Brie Larson with a fine 24-10 record but a bit of a late start to her career. Munn a veteran, reclamation project by Sceej who had hit hard times but is making strides in her comeback - she also has the pedigree of being a former champion. Almost immediate oil and water reaction, even with no history it is very very clear at the weight in that these two do NOT like each other.

Round 1: Brie younger, taller, faster and putting all of those attributes to use! Working perimeter of ring, spitting the jab, knocking Livy's head back, not letting her set - sneer of the blond'es pretty face. Munn clapping gloves together, drawing line with toe of the boot, trying to induce Larson to stand and trade but it's not called the "sweet science" for nothing. Larson dominates the first with hand and foot speed and precision punching.

Round 2: Gena Lee Nolin in Sceej corner, admonishing Ollie "Don't f*cking dance with her! get rough with this b*tch!". Munn out of corner with mitts under her chin, walks right through the Larson jab, clinches, and the women wrestle to the ropes. There Munn goes into the bag of (dirty) tricks - the accidental head butt, the elbows, the odd shot juuuuuuuust below the belt line. Cat Bell livid in the corner. Then Munn erupts out of crouch and tags the taller girl's chin! Knees buckle and Larson sags into the ropes. Munn unleashed to the body, Brie responding with little cuffing shots to the sides of Munn's head but it is a big comeback round for the brunette!

Round 3: Now it is Larson hearing the riot act from Bell! "This tramp is a bully, understand? You back her down and she'll crumble!" Brie Larson out of corner determined, jabbing at brunette bull, who counters with digging shots to the body. Brie stuns the Munnster mid-round with a sharp right hand lead that has the brunette stumbling back two steps. Fierce back and forth action in what looks like a toss-up round - some ringsiders favoring each fighter.

Round 4: Fight at close quarters, they could be fighting in a phone booth (remember those?). Munn with snatching hooks to the ribs. Larson hammering back with right to the sternum and left right combination to forehead and jaw. This is more Munn's style and strong legs forcing Larson into reverse. When her back hits the cables, Munn breaks out the baseball bat and hammers the body. Larson starting to wilt under the pounding. Big round for Munn!

Round 5: Fighters right back at each other - ringsiders wondering why Larson abandoning the lateral movement which had worked so well? Seems determined to out power the shorter sturdier brunette and beat her at her own game. "Do what you gotta do!", urges Big Bad Gena Lee Nolin, and right on cue, Munn with a hellacious left to the crotch, that has blonde bunched up in agony. Munn all stunned "who me"" as ref brings her by wrist center ring and deducts a point - that does nothing to remedy the ache in Larson's crotch. Brie doing her best to backpedal, trading canvas for time as she runs out the round. Probably a Larson round with the point deduction but at what cost to her body?

Round 6: Munn out hot, looking to finish. Right on the blonde, buffeting her back to the ropes, brunette head on her chest and jut chugging arms, content to hit anything - ribs, tits, biceps - until a used up Larson drops to one knee! Ref pushes a roaring Munn back as she is telling Brie alllllllllllllllllllllllllll about it! Larson listens to count - this was a tactical knee - and up at "7". Munn in to finish the job - big left hook - Larson snakes neck back and back over the top with long right hand that lands flush on the chin and MUNN IS HURT! Eyes wide and unfocused ... feet next to each other ... Larson rips left to ribs to bend her over and gets it ALL into a left uppercut. MUNN IS OUT BEFORE SHE HITS THE CANVAS!!! Count is a formality ... winner by knockout in dramatic comeback fashion - Brie Larson!

Post Fight: Cat Bell encouraging Brie to "walk the tramp" but the blonde is hurting herself ... content to just get out of the ring with a hard fought win. Wiseguys ringside opining "It ain't over between these two!"
