Before:
After a decade in the FCBA, Elizabeth Olsen finally captured the bantamweight title, and her first challenger is Kira Kosarin. Defeating Kosarin is no small feat – Olsen has a losing record against the brunette and suffered one of her two losses in a fifteen fight 2021 to the Bonzo fighter. Tess Valmore is on record predicting that this will be Olsen’s first and only title defense in a battle between two of the best brunette bantamweights. The press conference is buzzing with excitement as the former champ Kira Kosarin enters and the reigning champion Elizabeth Olsen follows her. The two girls combine for 86 wins and only 43 losses, and the atmosphere is already a big fight one.

The two girls take their seats and Kosarin is the first girl on the mic, “I have a lot of respect for Lizzie,” Kira says, “She is on her third stable, was a free agent for two years, and is one of the best fighters in the entire FCBA. But I’m here to win my second title. I have the best of three – and I intend to go up 3-1 after tonight.”

“Kira is the future of the bantamweight division,” Olsen says, “She is strong, fast, and already a champion. But it took me a decade to win this title. I am not going to give it up so easily. Kira may be a dominant force for the next decade. But my time is not over. Not yet.”

The crowd is roaring before the fight is even announced, and the announcer is drowned out when introducing Kosarin. The Bonzo fighter steps out from the back to a thunderous round of applause. Kira takes off her robe in the ring to reveal a blue sports bra with orange trunks and matching gloves, the challenger pacing around the ring as she awaits the champion.

Elizabeth Olsen steps out seconds later to another thunderous round of applause, the bantamweight title around the Avenger’s waist under her robe. The champion walks to the ring and removes her robe to reveal a red sports bra and matching trunks and gloves, her hair up in a bun for the fight. Olsen has the title removed from her waist and handed to the ref, who displays it to Kosarin before removing it from the ring. The two girls touch gloves and the loud crowd gets louder, barely making the bell audible.

Round 1:
The two brunettes know each other’s fighting styles and open up at a quick tempo. Kira uses her reach advantage to jab at Elizabeth while the champ works the counter. Kosarin lets a right jab loose but it whizzes by Olsen’s head and the Avenger takes advantage, popping a quick left into Kira’s face and going body as Kira covers up. Olsen works Kosarin into the ropes and the younger fighter clinches to force a break. The ref pulls the two girls apart and they resume the fight, with Kosarin using her jabs. Kira not landing every blow, but she’s beginning to find blows through and Lizzie has to keep her guard up more. Kira works her jab but Elizabeth tags the bigger girl with a right counter and forces the challenger to back off. The bell rings and the first round goes to the champion on points.

Round 2:
The quick tempo continues to start the second round and Lizzie still works her counter. Kira takes a right to her chin early that has the bigger girl back early. Olsen goes for a right – but Kosarin dodges and connects with a left to the button and Lizzie is stunned! The champ has a blank look on her face and Kira goes to town, crushing two strikes into Elizabeth’s face. Olsen stays up but she’s wobbly and Kosarin goes body before opening up Olsen’s guard with a left and sending her down with a right! The first knockdown of the fight goes to Kira and Tess Valmore may have been right that Lizzie’s reign would be brief. The champ is down on all fours as the ref is at five. Lizzie gets to one knee at seven and gets up at eight, the Avenger beating the count. The ref gives her the mandatory and waves Kosarin back in.

Kira turning up the pressure with her reach and power, but Elizabeth staying up as her guard blocks the younger actress’s blows. Lizzie tags Kira with a right as the bell rings, but the second round goes to the challenger on points with the first knockdown of the fight.

Round 3:
Kosarin charges out of her corner and goes to work with her jabs, putting her reach to use as she keeps Olsen on the defensive. Kira working Elizabeth’s body early and the older actress is forced to clinch and force a break. The ref steps in for the early break and Lizzie puts her guard up. Kira feints left and tags Lizzie with a right, but the Avenger is quick on her counter and connects with a left that knocks the younger girl back. Olsen beginning to gain momentum as she works in close and works Kosarin’s body, making solid contact with the younger actress. Kira gets distance as the round comes to a close and uses her reach to hit the smaller girl as the bell rings. Kira takes the third on points, close.

Round 4:
Olsen hears it from her corner and the champ gets out to an early lead in the fourth, dodging Kosarin’s blows and working her left flank with rights. Kira protecting her head and the younger actress builds momentum back as she uses her longer legs to get distance between herself and the older actress and works her jab. Kira strikes Lizzie with a right to her face and the Avenger retreats. Kira working in blows to Elizabeth’s flank as she works the champion back. Olsen plants her feet and trades back, stopping Kosarin’s advance and landing body blows on the taller girl. The two girls fight in close quarters and get tangled as the ref separates the two girls. The bell rings and the two go back to their corners as Elizabeth takes the fourth on points, close.

Round 5:
Kosarin finds her groove in the fifth and hits Olsen with jabs from range as the older girl does not have the reach to hit the younger girl back. Kira tags Lizzie’s jaw with a left, but the Avenger keeps her gloves up and works the counter. Olsen hits Kosarin with a left and Kira drops back. The two girls begin circling each other and trading jabs. Kosarin again gets the better of the trades as she continues to use her reach. Kira tags Elizabeth with another right and the older actress finds herself retreating. Kira charges forward and buries a left into Elizabeth’s body, but the champion comes back with a right and knocks Kira back. The two girls circle again, neither girl giving the other a chance to split her guard. The bell rings and it’s Kira’s round again as the champ has to find her stride.

Round 6:
Olsen and Kosarin still have plenty of energy as they leave their corners and the two meet in the center of the ring. Kira continues to bully Elizabeth back with her strength, but the older girl plants her feet and connects with a right that forces the younger girl back. Lizzie follows up with a left into Kira’s ribs and the bigger girl lets out a slight wince as Elizabeth connects with her blows. Kosarin with a quick clinch and the ref pulls the two apart. Olsen the aggressor out of the break, the Avenger working her foe’s body. Kira covering up and hitting back at the champion, but the champ works over her body. Kosarin drops back and puts her reach to use again. She gets out of Olsen’s range and fires back with rights and lefts to force the champion back. The bell rings and the two girls go to their corners as Olsen takes the sixth on points, close.

Round 7:
The two top brunettes leave their corners and Kosarin is ready for Olsen’s close quarters strikes. Kira protects herself and slams Lizzie with a right that sends the smaller girl backward. Olsen covering up as Kosarin works her flanks, the challenger driving the champion around the ring. Olsen plants her feet and trades back, but Kosarin uses her strength to knock Olsen back and win the trades. Lizzie retreating and Kira works her into the ropes, but Lizzie gets the quick clinch. The ref separates the two girls and the fight continues. Kira pushes the offensive and lands a left into Elizabeth’s mouth. Kira swings with a right follow-up – but Olsen ducks the blow and connects with a haymaker that wobbles Kosarin! Olsen follows up with a left that sends Kosarin backward and the Avenger goes body as time expires. The bell saves Kira, and the Bonzo corner has to be concerned heading into the eighth.

Round 8:
Olsen charges out of her corner and connects with two rights to start the round. Kosarin moving uncertainly around the ring as she puts her guard up. Lizzie lands a left into Kira’s flank and the Bonzo girl gets a quick clinch. The ref pulls the two apart but the break is short as Olsen goes right back after Kosarin’s body. Lizzie hammers a left into her foe’s midriff, drawing a grunt out of the younger actress before the older girl connects with two hooks to Kira’s jaw and down goes the challenger! Kosarin hits the canvas and the Bonzo corner is screaming at her to get up. The younger actress gets to her feet at the count of eight, but there’s still a whole minute left in the round and Olsen brings the pain, pounding lefts and rights into Kosarin’s body. Kira keeps her guard up but she is almost instantly in the ropes as Elizabeth’s blows are too much. Olsen keeps her focus on Kosarin’s body and Kira sags into the ropes, her guard dropping and the Avenger starts to shift her focus to Kira’s face – and the ref steps in! Kosarin slumps back further into the ropes and your winner by TKO8, Elizabeth Olsen!

After:
The Bonzo’s Gym staff floods the ring to tend to Kira as the brunette sinks further into the ropes. Olsen may be victorious but the champion is resting on the ropes, breathing heavily as Kosarin took her for a ride in her first title defense. The Avenger regains her breath and goes over to Kosarin, hugging the Bonzo girl to the cheers of the crowd.

“Kira is a heck of a fighter,” Elizabeth tells the press, “She nearly had me early, and the ref had to step in. She will have another bantamweight title run. It just wasn’t going to start today.”

Kosarin disheartened by the loss, but she talks to the press after the fight, “Lizzie finally got the title reign she was looking for for so long. It was going to be difficult to end it so soon.”
