BEFORE: Fan service resumed as Minka Kelly & Jennifer Love Hewitt meet for the first time since 2013 and promise to deliver plenty of fireworks in the process. The Lioness southpaw is set for a busy month with three fights on her schedule however only BLONDE! Magazine questions this match-making while actually trying to stay neutral calling a fight without fair-haired women involved.

Meanwhile J-Love claims she can handle her business and Minka might be a little too banged up after falling to Naomi Scott on the last PPV: "Look, I know she wants to walk that Hall of Fame red carpet but don't get greedy when you're on the wrong side of forty. Being a fan favorite is one thing, facing reality is something else and don't you all think she's got this won already! I can rattle her cage and then some!" (winks).

Round 1:
Jennifer tries to upstage the fellow brunette with a quick jabbing rush up the middle but Minka dekes away from the initial effort and uses her superior reach to smack the Texas native over the top which leads into a hectic exchange in the center of the ring. Minka lands several shots on target to knock Jennifer back before blasting a left cross on the mouth that finally makes the older brunette think better off it. Minka doesn't let her off the hook though and pummels the reeling foe onto the ropes where she adds more jabbing wrath slicing through Hewitt's high-guard. Ugh! It's not a common procedure for Kelly to look so aggressive so early during a fight but she doesn't want to waste any extra time with J-Love here tonight since she's got bigger names lined up later this month. She beats the buxom rival into a proverbial standstill and bellows her out against the turnbuckle with a scything cross on the mouth right at the bell.

Round 2:
Minka thinks she's worn J-Love down with that impressive opener but she gets caught out with a gut-checking rally as the Texas brunette indicates she's ready for a payback mission. She blows the southpaw up working to her body in hard-slugging fashion and locks Kelly into a lenghty phone booth before driving the LA native onto the ropes. Ref lets J-Love work her tricks and she barges Minka in the breasts forcing a stalemate attempt from the Lioness brunette. However J-Love breaks free from the trap and smacks the younger brunette across the mouth before blasting another spicy hook on the brow ridge. Minka slumps to her heels and swings wide off the mark from there while Hewitt runs up another jabbing rally to leave the taller brunette aching in frustration at the bell.

Round 3:
More gut-checking heroics from the smaller brunette as she cleans up more of Minka's tummy before thumping her with a nasty chin shot from point blank range. Uh-oh! Lioness coach Eva Mendes really loses her temper after that last shot as Minka seemingly parted ways with her brain after the opening round and needs to find it again! Meanwhile J-Love keeps working a highly successful jabbing drill in close range and she tugs more leather into Kelly's breasts before driving her butt-in-ropes full stop. Minka fires back over the top but Hewitt shakes off the single hand attack and buries more shots into her opponent's guts that leaves the Lioness brunette aching in more pain come the final minute. A lenghty clinch stalls Hewitt's progress but she's ahead on points after three anyway.

Round 4:
Megan Fox ain't breaking any sweat over this Minka performance but the Lioness brunette catches a fortunate break when she slams a right/left combo into J-Love's face during the initial exchange and she takes it from there gashing the buxom Texan from both flanks. A furious rally knocks Jennifer's head back & forth and she's unable to match Minka's swarming pace. A wild hook on the nose cuts a visible red stripe before Minka booms a vicious piledriver on the chin and half-spins Hewitt into lowering her guard wholesale... she winds up a brutal follow up and SMOKES a wobbly J-Love on the right ear flushing her down the proverbial drain in the process. LOVE CRASHES DOWN IN DEAD MEAT FASHION with her eyes closed and some fans believe she was knocked out of her senses before she even hit the deck! Ugh! Ref wants to give the Lone Star tailgaters a glimmer of hope but it's a lost cause with Hewitt unresponsive during the count! KO4 Minka Kelly!!!

AFTER: The victorious southpaw spits out the gumshield and barks in anger when she notices a small lump had developed under her left eye. Eva Mendes tries not to sound too critical as a four round punchout of a fellow cougar is still a good result for Minka even with Megan Fox set to provide a more demanding challenge in a fortnight's time. Kelly gives the fallen Love a long look while she's getting her gloves removed but there is no movement down there which actually makes the LA cougar giggle and claim the entire contest "wasn't all that bad!" Hard to argue this case but nothing to brag about either.
