VIX/Lioness Stable War 2022

1. Alyssa Lynch vs Lottie Moss

Alyssa:

(24, 5’5, FCBA Debut, Lioness Club)

BEFORE:
We’re ready to kick things off with the second VIX/Lioness stable war in over three years, with a fantastic line-up of fighters backstage ready to march into battle. In 2018, the Vixens came out on top over the course of five fights but the night ended with the fabulous Brooklyn Decker knocking Hannah Ferguson out after eight rounds. Will history repeat itself tonight, or will the Lionesses come out on top?

First up is Lottie Moss who is making her FCBA debut after a strong run in the BBU division that saw her rack up an impressive 10:7 record and wins over the likes of Una Healy and Nicola Roberts. Here, she faces her stiffest competition yet in Alyssa Lynch, who wishes nothing more than to extend her winning streak but also be the first one to take home the win for her stable.

“She’s languished over there in the BBU. Honestly, despite what the tabloids are saying about her resume, it hasn’t impressed me yet,” Alyssa says with a smug expression earlier on at the press table. “This should be an easy pick up for our stable.”

Lottie definitely looks slightly nervous from her seat at the table, but is doing her best to hide her nerves. She flashes a smile when the reporters ask her for her thoughts in turn:

“Pride cometh before the fall is what I always say. I might not have the most impressive record, but I’m ready to make waves in the league. This may be my first rodeo here in the FCBA, but I’ve knocked out plenty of cocky individuals like Lynch back in the BBU,” the blonde says.

Ladies square off at the podium and Alyssa’s two inches on Lottie only compounds the blonde’s problems for the upcoming fight. But the British blonde proudly meets her opponent on stage, chin cocked high and fists raised even higher as the two fighters stare each other down nose to nose.

Later, we’re all ready to kick things off in The Forum theatre in downtown Los Angeles. One side of the ring is of course reserved for the Lioness crew, and as the camera pans across Melanie Brown, Jessica Lowndes and Nina Dobrev - here to cheer their stablemates on and sitting out on the action tonight (for now).

Lottie is first to come through the curtains, garnering loud cheers from the Lioness fans in the packed auditorium. This may be VIX soil but the stables have never been on more equal footing, with fighters constantly getting into spats, backstage shenanigans and hair pulling across the aisle over the years.

None of that for now tonight as both fighters make ready at opposite ends of the ring. Alyssa is already in her corner, donning a blood red sports bra and short black tights. She’s shadowboxing in white gloves as the referee calls her name. Lottie has gone for a simple baby blue sports bra and long grey tights, her shoulder-length hair tied up into a ponytail.

Referee waves for the start of this contest and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Ladies meet cordially in the center but then EXPLODE at each other in a series of wild swings and punches! Alyssa goes for a pounding off Lottie’s guard, aiming high for her chin, but the blonde fighter keeps her arms up to intercept before sweeping hooks of own below to the midsection and pounding away on brunette tummy. Lynch scores some choice haymakers to the side of the head and arms, however, for now taking the abuse to her body and opting to knock Moss silly up top with those hooks crashing in repeatedly. Lottie takes a dingin’ shot to the temple and is forced to retreat for now when her vision goes spinning. Lynch lets out a shout of triumph and gives chase, but the Lioness is moving fast for someone slightly shorter, and Moss manages to chase off her pursuer with fast jabs to the face. Close round overall and it’s the perfect microcosm to this stable war: plenty of back-and-forth action between two girls who want to knock each other’s heads off!

ROUND 2:
Another CLASH erupts in the first minute as Lottie just shakes off the wear-and-tear and WADES back in! Brave girl indeed as she surprises Lynch with an early overhand to the forehead, another low hook catching her on the ribs with a groan. Lynch initially shocked but lowering her head as well and leaning in, with both ladies sending battering rams into each other’s torsos one after another, in tandem. But Lynch is finding it hard to compete with Moss’ power in her shorter bulk, lets out a dull groan as another uppercut is drilled into her lower belly, before another one almost catches her clean on the chin. For now, she retreats, cursing as Moss walks her down with more looping and tooting shots to her head. The Lioness cleans house this round and effectively evens the scores!

ROUND 3:
Lynch not about to give up, however, bashing lefts and rights into Lottie’s guard in a renewed effort to catch leather onto her chin. Moss has trouble keeping up, especially when she’s forced to deal with the Vixen’s longer reach. She’s tummy-hunting again but her punches are falling just a little short each time as Alyssa weaves and leaps out of the way before shocking her with a well-placed jab that sinks into her cheek. Last minute and Lynch successfully drives the Brit into the ropes, Lottie covering up best she can but groaning as her tummy eats shot after shot after shot, with Lynch driving her butt between the middle ropes after a successful attack run almost folds Moss in half and drops her to her knees. For now, both girls are still giving it their all, as Moss hugs her midsection on her way back to her corner.

ROUND 4:
Alyssa continues to dominate the early action, using poise and experience to keep a safe distance from Lottie’s attacks and then blast the poor blonde back to oblivion. Moss takes another crunching shot to the mouth, which throws her head back and stuns her to the spot. And here comes Lynch, looking to mop up! The Vixen drives another hook off the tummy and then deliberately goes after those three little birdies just under Moss’ chest: one two three thumping hooks hammering those ribs as Lottie looks to survive this onslaught… But Lynch gets too close to the action, narrowly avoiding a reflex hook from Moss on the return, but the second swing catches her clean on the base of her chin!! UGHH!! Lynch gets absolutely BLOWN backwards, now the one seeing stars! Lottie shakes the pain from her ribs and then leaps in with another overhand haymaker - BLAM!! Lynch sent straight to the canvas, her head and back hitting the floormats with a nasty THUDD! It’s one hell of a surprise KNOCKDOWN for Lottie Moss!! Wowsers! Noone thought the Brit underdog could pull this off, let alone win. But here she is, standing proud above a stunned Alyssa Lynch at her feet! She parades her way back to the neutral corner, still massaging her ribcage but giving the cheers a little smirk of her own. Alyssa slowly pushes her way back up by the count of 8, but is clearly looking flabbergasted by this result. She nods to the ref that she wants to continue, and we’re heading into the fifth round of this opening contest between Vixens and Lionesses! Who will prevail??

ROUND 5:
Alyssa falls back to her defensive guard, playing it cautious as Lottie looks to turn the tides and advance with a counterattack. For a while, Alyssa holds onto her marbles, absorbing shots to the middle of her arms and generally trying to back away in order to either avoid them or catch her breath. But Moss, emboldened by her opponent’s lack of offence, thinks she might have a good chance of ending the night in upset fashion. Middle minute and Lottie RUSHES the brunette down, landing a swift hook off the arms to throw Alyssa back into the ropes before repaying the earlier favour by crowding inwards, getting those arms and elbows in the pocket to sweep Alyssa’s own forearms out of the way… gut-checking action here as Moss pounds and bashes and DRILLS leather into Alyssa’s abs and chest, tummy and tits, going all out and enjoying the dull groans coming from the Vixen’s lips. Lynch getting decimated and pinned against the ropes, chin glued to shoulder as her own hands harmlessly bat and hug at the blonde’s. Quick shove off by Moss gives her the easiest opening possible - RAM of a final uppercut into Alyssa’s chin DROPS THE VIXEN once more to the canvas, and THERE ALYSSA STAYS for the rest of this match, having turned over onto her back with a groan, both hands hugging her midsection! The referee counts her all the way out to 10 and this opening fight is IN THE BAG for the Lioness corner! Lottie Moss takes the first win in upset KO5 fashion!!

Official Decision: Lottie Moss defeats Alyssa Lynch via KO5!

AFTER:
“Knew I could do it. Lynch is an absolute mid-carder, while I’m destined to go to the very top. Didn’t like the fact either she underestimated me from the very start. That’s what you get, Alyssa!” Lottie says, whilst laughing and shouting amidst the initial celebrations back in the Lioness corner.

Meanwhile, the Vixens look crestfallen at having loss this opening salvo, with Kyra Santoro and Luisana Lopilato already escorting the bruised Lynch back to the safety of their corner.

“I want a rematch,” Alyssa says with a wince, as one of the medics applies a cold pack to her ribs. “b*tch got lucky. But she won’t next time.”
