5. Alexis Ren vs Odette Yustman

BEFORE: The VIX model would have been a clear betting favorite in this contest even if Odette didn't experience a severe drop off in performance in the last several months. It's been four years since Odette last had a season above .500 and she's not getting any younger so one must wonder how much juice she has left in the tank? Alexis claims the Lioness brunette is no longer a Top 10 lightweight even among California natives but vows to give the "senior citizen" a honorable beatdown!
Alexis Ren wears a light blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long dark blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Odette Yustman wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.
Round 1:
Alexis doesn't waste any time and stalks the brunette with a high-octane jabbing rally before blasting the actress on the jaw which causes her to stumble to the side with a noticeable whimper. Ugh! Odette's forced into some hectic reply literally seconds into the fight and she doesn't have the pace to outwork the younger woman so gets backed onto the ropes as Ren unloads the elite potential and makes Yustman look really past-prime here during the opening round. Heavy slaps dissect the brunette's high guard and even her accomplished bendy movement is neutralized when facing a supreme talent. Alexis cracks more leather up the middle and knocks Odette's head back before blowing a rare body combo that slumps the older Californian into loud spasms at the bell.
Round 2:
The Ren train continues to steam roll through Odette's guard but the Lioness veteran finds a close range solace and thumps the blonde's rack before tagging the exposed chin as well. Alexis shakes off the initial effort but still gets sucked into a phone booth exchange that allows Yustman to match her production until a clash of heads throws Ren off her game wholesale. Odette racks up a quick series to the body and piles on more leather into the blonde's breasts which forces the younger woman to reload her stance but she actually gets bumped onto the ropes where Yustman drills her with more precision. She targets the blonde's midsection and leaves Ren hugging the turnbuckle before a scything cross on the jaw makes the model gurgle in pain but there's one extra double on each temple to underline Odette's sudden recovery.
Round 3:
Alexis blows her fuse and sends a slugging charge into Odette's face which triggers a hectic exchange in the center of the ring. The Lioness veteran decides to follow the blonde's plan and tries to smack her head off with a proper haymaker but it's Ren who finds the breakthrough when she whacks the brunette on the ear and thumps a piercing right hand into her solar plexus moments later. Odette gets stuffed on her heels and doesn't react fast enough when the model cuts her up below the right eye and piles a furious hooking rally into her face again. Yustman trips back onto the ropes but her guard collapses underneath the blonde's barrage and leaves her rolling from left to right until Alexis SMOKES her with one right hook on the temple too many... DOWN GOES ODETTE!!! The proud brunette is dropped to her side with eyes closed and slumps face-down amid some loud shrieks making no genuine effort to fend off the knockout daze. She is done! KO3 Alexis Ren!!!
AFTER: The performance gap between these two Californians is simply too big right now and Odette has to soak up another painful defeat in recent months. Her once elite defense doesn't make the difference anymore and she's getting overpowered on a regular basis. Time to wave goodbye to the contender status and embrace a wiley gatekeeper career going forward.
Meanwhile Alexis is happy to announce herself back as the VIX #1 lightweight: "Nina had a good run at the War In Heaven tournament but I'm still the top cat in the draw! Let's just don't talk about Taylor Swift anytime soon, shall we?" (winks).

For now it’s another upset from the VIX corner as they come dangerously close to winning this stable war outright! Another win and it’s all over, the Lionesses are acutely aware of this fact in the post-match, Sandra Kubicka standing in the front row and making rude gestures at Alexis Ren on her way out of the arena, and Chloe Grace Moretz getting into a shouting and chest-beating match from across the aisle. The two sides almost get into an all-out altercation if not for the quick intervention of the ring officials, who quickly form a barrier on the ring apron to prevent either side from crossing.
For now, it looks like both sides will have to let this stable war play out!
