VIX Presents... VIX: Into the Valley @ the Crucible Theatre (UK)

1. Kyra Santoro vs Ela Kawalec

Kyra:

Ela:
(26, 5’8, 4:5 FCBA, SIRENs)

BEFORE:
The VIX crew continues their tour into international territory, heading north of London to the city of Sheffield for their next suite of competition. Tonight, a diverse cast of fighters are set to spoil their party, with notable celebrities like Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller facing off against the invaders, and Melissa Satta and Ela Kawalec - former and current member of the SIRENs, respectively - also unable to resist taking their shot at their sister stable.

“Kyra has always been a middling force on the VIX roster,” Ela Kawalec says first from the podium.

The Polish blonde has had some amazing opportunities recently to make a name for herself. Unfortunately, she fell short of revenge against Emily Ratajkowski (for the fourth time), before failing to take the BBU JMDD title from the one and only Kate Upton. For now, she continues:

“Santoro ain't no Emily. In fact, I consider her the bottom of the VIX ladder. I should have no problem putting her away.”

Kyra, on the other hand, not so certain about that assessment, pursing her lips and narrowing her eyebrows from across the table, before responding in kind: “Ela’s had a good push recently, but what has she done with the opportunities? She’s completely squandered them, in my opinion. I, on the other hand, have yet to receive a title shot. When I do get one, mark my words, I ain’t gonna waste it.”

Ela is slightly taller and more slender, but Kyra looks like she’s brimming with pent-up power, squaring her shoulders and trying to make herself look intimidating in the initial chest-up. Ela not backing away, hands on her hips and chin upturned at the American model. We’ve never before seen Santoro so serious, but I guess she wants to start this year off with a bang.

So does Ela, it appears, the Siren visibly shoving her chest into the Vixen’s at every opportunity, daring the brunette to retaliate if she has the stones. Santoro suddenly looks away after she gets shoved backwards by another of Ela’s blatant steps forward into her space. Suddenly, the Vixen LASHES back with a right hook that crashes into Ela’s jaw! OUCH!!

Mass chaos to kick off this VIX event as Kawalec is sent barreling off the stage in shock, doesn’t have any chance to retaliate when the fight officials quickly flood in to keep these two girls apart. Ela is still spewing vulgarities as she’s herded away with her nostrils flaring, eager for on-the-spot payback. Meanwhile, Kyra is laughing her way back to the door, uncharacteristic aggressive behaviour from the Vixen tonight as she lets her opponent know she ain’t to be messed with.

Fight night comes around hours later, and the cozy confines of the Crucible Theatre means the fans are packed next to each other like sardines and their cheers are echoing off the rafters. Kyra comes into the arena first, her dark blonde hair braided and long and raising a pair of white gloves high to the fans. She’s wearing a black shiny hoodie over her head but the rest of her fight attire bared for all to see: an amber bikini ensemble that’s showing off her tanned midriff and biceps. Up next comes Ela Kawalec, the blonde having bundled her long hair into a neat ponytail, shadow boxing on the elevated platform before strutting down the aisle in a red sports bra and white boxing trunks. She’s wearing black gloves for this contest.

Without further ado, the referee calls this first match of the night to order! There’s the sound of the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
This here’s regular, hard-hitting action but the girls spend the first minute going at each other’s chests! Loud groans and grunts fill the halls of the Crucible, mixed with the insane roars from the crowd, as these two GO AT IT in the middle of the ring! Kyra and Ela stride into each other’s space and start swinging, fist after fist pounded on the arms, chest and body but for some reason innate targeting of the jugs as they look to prove themselves the better woman. At first, Ela landing hook after hook across Kyra’s breasts, sending shockwaves through the Vixen’s body and those jugs jiggling in their sockets, but soon, Kyra returns equal firepower and mixes her assault up with strong right hands slammed across the blonde’s face to do more damage. Kawalec with her head turned to one side, mouth open in shock, as another hook catches her completely unawares and pivots her to one side. Kyra looks strong and sexy as we end the first round with plenty of action. Wide round for the Vixen when the bell rings!

ROUND 2:
Kawalec is looking for a comeback, fighting a little smarter instead of being so JMD-focused. Her opponent has seen plenty more regular action in the ring, making Santoro a dangerous foe both on the outside the rack. Santoro absorbs some early combos to her arms, protecting her head well. Ela tries to shock and surprise her with left-right combos but Santoro’s moving with agility of her own, blocking or weaving to avoid. Second minute, however, and Ela’s persistence pays off: a right cross is driven into the face - a lucky shot if we’ve ever seen one - that snaps the Vixen’s head back with a grunt. All downhill for Santoro now as she’s driven back by a shower of jabs and straights, with Ela scoring big on the face this round and now wanting some more. Bell rings and the Polish girl has evened the score!

ROUND 3:
Round 3 and both ladies are circling from a distance, not keen on leaping into the fray just yet. Ela initiates with several punches towards the head, but Kyra is blocking well, as usual. The Vixen has the experience and power to finish her opponents off, but keeps on falling back into a defensive pattern, which has cost her before and might do so again tonight if she doesn’t hurt her foe. Ela is given free reign to land her shots best she can, and though a majority are missing or being intercepted, several jabs do make it past the guard, and Kyra grunts from impacts to her nose and chin and body all over. Kawalec seems satisfied at the bell, even if she has to take Santoro down the slow and steady way.

ROUND 4:
Kyra took a breather in her corner, and an earful from Head Trainer Steve Boyd. He wants to see more aggression in there, and boy does Santoro deliver. Early skirmish erupts when Ela wades in to maintain her lead only to get met by a barrage of big swings and bashes, as Santoro has the same idea to try and knock her lights out! For a while, big girls go at it once more in the center, taking turns turning each other’s heads to the side with a hook before taking damage of their own. Ela growling as she powers through another hook that grazes her chin, plants a right glove into the side tummy before another left hand ploughs into Kyra’s chest. Santoro with zero remorse, however, adrenaline taking over as she returns with a hard whip! Of a hook across the face, another driven upwards to snag that uppercut on Ela’s chin! OUCH! Kawalec gets blasted backwards, stumbling for a moment towards the ropes but eventually regaining her footing. It’s clear one lady has taken the lead this round!

ROUND 5:
Ela’s swinging back still with plenty of spirit and spit in her sails. She comes out of her gate looking to commit murder, nailing Santoro to the arms with a big cross before delivering the same treatment to her body. A little more bite with each attack as Kyra looks stunned for a moment, unable to intercept the follow-up attacks coming in hard and fast. Santoro’s doing her best to hold her ground and return fire, but this time, Ela just shrugs off the blows to the side of her head or fists shoved into her nose, countering with an overhand right that NAILS Santoro to the forehead, almost DROPPING the big brunette on the spot if Kyra wasn’t so near to the ropes! OUCH for the Vixen, who suddenly looks like she’s in trouble! She’s breathing hard as her back hits the ropes, narrowly swerving to the side to avoid another big right hand, Ela huffing and charging in with little regard for her surroundings! Unfortunately, the Siren can’t seem to pin her foe down for the remainder of the round, allowing Kyra to get away and regroup. Rest of the minute is spent catching their breaths, chasing each other off with jab flurries to the head.

ROUND 6:
And Kyra LANDS the big right hand to Ela’s face in turn!! First minute had both ladies still pawing at each other from a safe distance till Ela decided to suddenly lunge and charge at Santoro once more. Big mistake! Kyra slipping easily to the side and back, practiced grace in her bob and weave as she avoids the big hands and then plants her own leather off the cuff of Ela’s cheek, another series of plugging lefts and rights into her body to force the Polish fighter backwards. Kawalec groans, getting pummeled left right and center, suddenly looking to stop herself from going down to her knees. Santoro’s marching her down, lips hanging open but managing her own stamina well in between the stiff bashes to the blonde’s body and arms. Bell rings and STILL we don’t have a clear winner of this fight, with both fighters looking haggard as they stumble back to respective corners!

ROUND 7:
For an opening performance, these two aren’t content to end things before the fifth round, it seems! Round 7 and they are marching inwards with determination, planting mutual leather off the body and chest before again trying to take each other’s heads off! Ela sees some early success, beating back Santoro’s charge with a left fist buried clean into her right boob, another straight screaming in straight after to crunch into Kyra’s mouth. Santoro dazed but still swinging wildly, forcing Kawalec to retreat and regroup. As we head into the final quarter of this opening clash, however, neither girl wants to commit wholesale, and Kawalec seems satisfied with holding back for the rest of the round, blocking return fire and only sending jabs back in turn.

ROUND 8:
So far it’s been an absolute back-and-forth showdown, with Santoro now holding the cards after she scores a right cross between the eyes, then chases Kawalec backwards with more left-right combos. Ela appears to be melting by the minute, her arms doing their best to protect her features but there’s only so much area she can cover before Kyra bullies her way in and sinks another uppercut into her underboob or stomach. Slowly, but surely, Santoro pushes her foe back into the ropes, pinning her down against and then wailing away on the battered blonde. Kawalec’s wilting by the third minute, mouth open and hanging onto the brunette’s shoulders, trying to keep herself afloat and make it to the next round. More lefts and rights hammer the midsection and chest, Santoro squaring her shoulders and rocking her undercarriage below, till finally Ela lets out a deep groan and SINKS backwards, clutching at her body!! DOWN THE SIREN GOES thereafter, collapsing to her knees and STAYING there for the rest of the 10-count!! That’s it, folks! The referee’s waving off this first contest!

Official Decision: Kyra Santoro defeats Ela Kawalec via KO8!

AFTER:
Prospective Bantamweights from both studios took their frustrations out on each other, and ultimately, one of them wanted the win more badly! Santoro celebrates with a roar and double pump of her arms, before circling the four corners of the ring and drawing the cheers of the arena crowd.

“Ela’s been on a roll recently in the BBU, but that just makes this victory of mine all the more impressive,” Kyra later says to the press, breaking into a wide but tired smile. “It’s not a diss to our sister stable, but it shows just how far we Vixens have come.”

Ela looks battered and bested in the other corner of the ring, declining to speak to the press later on when she’s whisked backstage by Henry Carvill and the rest of her fight team.
