BEFORE: Some fans question why Cheryl Cole would want to target a dangerous upstart Madison Beer - even though Jessica Lowndes got the better of her last season - but the roster news from Lookout! Boxing is brutal. Paris Hilton has given up on Madison and signed teenager Millie Bobby Brown as the new flyweight understudy. This is still a tricky schedule for Cole since Beer might want to impress any future employer and really go out with all guns blazing tonight. Even the Geordie singer's trademark slugging approach might not to good enough to overcome the American's desire to prove Paris Hilton wrong!

Round 1:
Cheryl wants to channel her inner slugging nature but Madison beats her to the punch and uses her superior reach to knock the Brit's head back & forth until the older singer simply has to yield real estate before it gets too dangerous out there. Beer remains committed to the head-hunting push and truly wants to deliver a slam dunk performance against an older rival, she bumps Chezza around the area and lands several single punches on target before blasting the tourist onto the ropes. Ugh! Cole tries to avoid more trouble but she simply can't match the American's intensity and disappears behind a tight earmuff while Maddy keeps pumping more leather into her body to close out the round.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Madison's high-tempo work rate overwhelms the Geordie tourist who eats too many nasty shots up the middle and has to bail out of another slugging exchange after getting cut under the left eye. It's not very often you see Cole phased out of her preferred strategy like that but Beer truly means business and carries enough skill to make it count. She keeps hassling the Brit around the ring until she drops her onto the turnbuckle and lays more head shots cutting through Chezza's high guard. The embattled veteran tries to strike back but grazes the youngster's forearms more than anything else and sinks on jelly knees when Maddy nails her on the left ear right at the bell.

Round 3:
Cheryl roars back into contention when she smacks Madison in the navel and settles down with more body assault thereafter. She catches the younger brunette with a stray headbutt on the chin and gets away with another low blow which actually makes Beer blow her gasket. However a chaotic lunge goes nowhere with Cheryl thumping more gut shots to glue the American to the spot. A quick overhand exchange allows Cole to stick more superior leather and she barges the fellow singer onto the ropes with a steady jabbing assault as well. Madison loses her plot and argues over that low hit instead of punching back at the Geordie veteran.

Round 4:
Madison profits from the early slugging exchange but Cheryl matches her for shear intensity this time and only wobbles to her heels when Beer carries through with a shaky elbow on the follow up. Fight enters the dirty zone as Cole complains about a knee strike in the groin when both women wrestle for supremacy along the ropes in the second minute. It's hard to call this one but Maddy works the harpoon route to carve lumps in the Brit's midsection until she gets locked in a standing headlock. Add a couple of hits on the kidneys and Beer really loses her temper. She whacks Cheryl over the top but ends the round with a busted nose anyway as Cole blows her up with the last series of the exchange. Huh! High drama here in fourth!

Round 5:
We resume the head-hunting efforts but precision goes away on both sides before Cheryl regains her groove by thumping the taller brunette in the stomach. She folds Madison into rare spasms and smacks her with an uppercut double that wobbles the American into quiet whimper for the first time tonight. More piston-like shots punish Madison's midriff thereafter and drop her into coverage along the ropes but she simply wants to slug it back at the Geordie woman so the fans are treated with another back & forth tussle alas Beer finally runs out of gas and soaks up too many of these gut shots and rests on the ropes while Cheryl keeps piling on more pressure and has to be pulled away by the ref at the bell. Huh! The Geordie dynamo catches a second burst of energy and this performance...

Round 6:
...continues in the sixth when she delivers a jug muggin' series to open Madison into a vicious uppercut combo that sinks the younger singer on jelly knees very fast indeed. Madison suddenly looks extremely hittable and coughs up more body shots to stumble onto the ropes where Chezza really smells blood and piles on with the leather haze. It takes quite an effort to punch through a much younger opponent but Cole beats Beer's breadbasket into a mush and leaves her all aching and searching a stalemate respite. Not gonna happen... one drilling harpoon on the navel too many and Madison DROPS ONTO HER KNEES and rolls onto her side with more painful shrieks coming out of her mouth. Uh-oh! It doesn't look good here at all and Paris Hilton has the last laugh against the pre-fight odds. Maddy cannot beat the count and is left stranded on all fours when the ref yells "TEN!!!" into her face. KO6 Cheryl Cole!!!

AFTER: It's a bitter blow for Madison's future prospects. Her Lookout! Boxing tenure is officially on life support and going with the high-risk, high-reward match-up simply backfired tonight. Many fans believe Madison should have smoked the 38 year old Geordie singer away if she wants to be taken as a serious contender but that career plan appears to be in major peril right now.
