Chloe Grace Moretz vs Abigail Breslin
(Lioness Club of America vs Free Punchers)
(20-18, 20 KO vs 12-3, 12 KO)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: Abigail Breslin defeated Chloe Moretz back in December 2017 already so accepting a rematch sounds unreasonable despite riding a seven fight win streak. BLONDE! Magazine pundits claim Breslin is a dark horse to emerge among the flyweight title contenders which is crowded out by the usual suspects but maybe this season will finally open the door for some new names.

Meanwhile Chloe G. continues to blow hot & cold - she upset Emma Roberts only to fall to the ascending Cree Cicchino and it's extremely difficult to predict what the Atlanta native's true upside really is. She turned 25 yo last month and keeping her record above .500 is no longer good enough to justify the premium match-making. 2022 might well be a "sink or swim" season for Chloe and she needs to score big results on a regular basis going forward.

Chloe Grace Moretz wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. Abigail Breslin wears a light blue bikini set & brown gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Chloe charges into a steady jabbing assault but Abigail pivots away from the close range and forces the younger blonde to chase her around the area yet the counter-punching effort falls short of the mark and gives Moretz a slugging dominance during the opening minute. She cracks several solid shots into Abigail's face and leaves her weaving around on her feet before a booming right hand trips the New Yorker onto the ropes where Chloe adds more point-blank range pressure. Ugh! A couple of big hits fold Breslin into spasms and she has to clinch the Atlanta native but Moretz still plucks her in the breadbasket and keeps pounding away in superior numbers to take the opener on points wide.

Round 2:
Abigail recovers from the opening round struggle to punish Chloe's midsection early in the second and she glues herself into the close range stance that allows her to limit the free swinging damage. Moretz fails to stretch her elbows here and gets bumped onto her heels where Breslin powers ahead with more ribcage damage but she also clips the younger blonde's rack and drives her onto the turnbuckle in due course. Chloe's counter-punching effort meets a stubborn guard and even when she clips Abigail's chin a couple of times, the New Yorker barges into her solar plexus and drops more drilling harpoons downstairs to freeze the Lioness woman into a standstill come the bell.

Round 3:
More of the same in the third, Abigail locks the fellow blonde down in the proverbial phone booth where she can pound away at her midriff and also send one or two stray elbows on the rack to further throw Moretz off her stance. Chloe just can't quite punch through the dirty clinch and ends up hugging the ropes at the one minute-mark already while Breslin sofens her up with a heavy body assault drive during the second minute. Ugh! She slumps Moretz into worrying spasms and belts her around the liver area which makes LCA coach Eva Mendes really upset here as well. Pure physical struggle follows with neither girl seemingly among the strongest flyweights out there but Abigail stays on top and wrenches more lumps around her opponent's abs to leave Chloe slumped at the bell again.

Round 4:
Chloe has to become more aggressive and she triggers a high-octane head-hunting attack to prevent another phone booth dominance from the older blonde. Abigail steps in to the challenge at first but gets scythed across the nose and wobbles onto her heels before she can truly derail Moretz's plan. This leads into a one-way punchfest from the Atlanta native who barges her foe onto the ropes and rains more punches up the middle rocking Breslin's head left & right! Huh! The New Yorker didn't see such an upgrade coming and whiffs on her response allowing Chloe G. to drop more hard slaps up the chimney and bury the fellow blonde behind a desperate earmuff come the final minute. Abigail tries to escape the heat but eats a rare belter on the liver area herself and has to soak up the even cards after four.

Round 5:
Both girls jump into a vintage flyweight bashing ordeal that threatens immediate resolution and it's Chloe who lands the better combo clashing Abigail on the chin and slumping her into painful spasms. Ugh! Another wild hook nails the New Yorker on the temple and spins her to the side with her arms dropping low enough for Moretz to BLAST a powerful right hook on the nose... DOWN GOES BRESLIN!!! Ugh! That seven-fight win streak goes up in flames as Abigail is dropped onto all fours and tries to crawl away int safety before collapsing face down at the canvas. Get up... get up... get up!!! She can't! KO5 Chloe Grace Moretz!!!

AFTER: Shocking turn of events as coach Jennifer Lopez can only argue with her counterpart Eva Mendes in the opposite corner but few pundits could have predicted Abigail floored in such rapid fashion here in the fifth! Even Chloe looks surprised to say the very least but she leaps onto the ropes and shouts back at the audience. The Braves might have lost Freddie Freeman but don't overlook Atlanta's potential too much in 2022! The make it or break it campaign for Chloe has started with a real bang! Just make sure Cree Cicchino stays over in New York for the time being!

Official Result: Chloe Grace Moretz def. Abigail Breslin KO5.
