BEFORE:
Next up on the cards is an epic showdown between prospective Flyweights. Emma Roberts is one of those top-tiered Flyweights who hasn’t had the pleasure of hoisting the title over her shoulder. In some way, she’s been overshadowed by her more prolific stablemate, Miss Avril Lavigne, and to hear her tell her own tale, Roberts ain’t about to let yet another Flyweight climb over her on her way to the golden straps:

“I heard that some people are actually betting on Cameron as the favourite tonight. I know most people are freaking stupid, but people seem to have truly lost it. I go through a short bad period and suddenly I'm going to lose to this Dove poser? Please. I may have lost my first two fights this year, but my bad luck won't last forever. She's not on my level, and if she thinks she is, I'm here to remind her of her place tonight - beneath me,” Roberts says with a confident nod earlier at the press conference.

And for someone who hasn’t had the best starts to the year, Roberts’ confidence in her own abilities will have to do, as her opponent is none other than the freshly baked, baby-faced up-and-comer, Dove Cameron, who may have fallen to Michelle Williams back in February of this year, but shits and giggles - it’s Michelle Williams! What do you expect? The little blonde has put up an impressive resume of her own by defeating girls like Lucy Hale, Isabela Moner, Katherine McNamara, and the list goes on...

“I appreciate all Emma has done for this division, but at this point, she’s nothing but an old-timer who’s getting in everyone’s way. And I haven’t even begun to comment on how that other stablemate of hers should have retired yesterday,” Dove fires back moments later, taking a jab at Lavigne while she’s at it, before continuing. “Out with the old and in with the new, that’s what I say. And that goes for all the other old ladies out there, like Collins and Hudgens. I’m coming for that title, and nobody’s gonna stop me.”

Even height for these combatants as they square off at the podium moments later, fists raised high and firm and eyes glaring down the other. Roberts needs to stay focused here, but even she can’t help but flip Cameron off the middle finger once the referee indicates for them to separate and head off to opposite corners. Cameron just laughing the gesture off, flipping her own hair back, and the two gals finally disappear backstage for their final preparations.

Hours later, we’re in the arena and Emma Roberts is the first to stride in, breaking out a wide, confident smile whilst dressed in her usual pink and white sports bra and long tights, complete with matching gloves, her blonde hair in a neat tight ponytail. The Dollhouse blonde has been keeping herself in shape despite this year’s deficit of losses, her slim figure looking as tight and toned as ever. Dove Cameron’s music hits the airwaves moments later and it’s a mixture of bubblegum pop and rap music. The 26 year old American is rocking a Fendi orange sports single and long black tights, waving black gloves into the air as she struts down the aisle and beelines towards the ring, looking ready and eager to get things started.

We’re about ready for ten rounds of Flyweight action tonight as the March Madness PPV continues! Referee gets the eager nod from both corners and HERE WE GO!

ROUND 1:
It’s up to Emma to prove she's finally out of her recent slump, but she doesn't seem to be taking Dove too seriously at the beginning, circling casually inwards and easily dodging her head around some of Cameron’s early strikes towards her head. Emma’s considered the seasoned veteran here, and a part of her also wants to show this newbie who’s the real boss of the ring. Dollhouse punches come sailing at Cameron in crisp and precise tandem, Roberts returning fire with jabs to the blonde’s nose and lips to hurt her early. Cameron’s in for a rude awakening if this differential in their fighting styles continues, and she’s already getting pushed and shoved about the ring by Emma’s lightning attacks landing all over her frame. Dove’s attacks are haphazard and wild by contrast, occasionally letting a hook or overhand punch fly in Emma’s direction, but it’s still too early to catch the Doll in a blind bind, and the bell rings soon after to declare Roberts the wide victor.

ROUND 2:
Emma’s experience continues to outshine the newcomers’ briefer time in the ring. Make no mistake - Dove has been around since 2014 but compared to Emma, she’s had more than 20 fewer fights in the ring by comparison. Emma exploits her sluggishness, running left and right and pestering her head with jab combos. Dove focuses on her defensive arms this time, protecting her face but still suffering several shots to her tummy and the top of her head. Third minute and Dove finally finds an opening, ramming a counter-hook into Emma’s body just as one of her own landed on the arms, which shocks the Doll with power and surprise. Emma’s seen wincing hard whilst suppressing a low grunt, quickly covering up her head as another big hook ploughs inwards from the side. Dove’s doing the chasing all of a sudden, suddenly shooting hands all over and into the Doll’s face to chase her backwards, and the end result is a closer margin of victory for Roberts when the bell finally rings.

ROUND 3:
Two rounds in a row now that Dove hasn’t managed to make her mark on, and it’s kinda like how Emma Roberts began this year of her career as well. Cameron determined to come out of her slump with new marching orders, getting straight into Emma’s face with a brawling charge and intending to beat her to the punch instead. She must have gotten an earful from the Consortium’s management team in between these rounds - she’s been doing too much ducking and not enough punching. Roberts feels this change first-hand, grunting as she takes a big cross to the middle of her arms, then another one-two combo slammed into her toned midsection before she’s chased backwards by another series of hooks flying at her high. It’s like it’s a different Dove Cameron in the driver’s seat: someone intent on driving Emma back into the ropes and going to town on her. Roberts, however, frustrates this strategy best she can, jabbing constantly at Dove’s head to stop her advance, and manages to score several hits to her face to prevent a complete one-sided disaster from going down.

ROUND 4:
Here comes Dove again, fire and ice in her eyes as she sets her targets on Roberts’ body this time round. Strappin’ hooks keep landing on the string of Emma’s waistline in the first minute, shocking her body about and drawing grunts over and over, as Cameron circumvents her guard by shooting her gloves under and behind her arms. Emma, however, quickly recovers and adapts, keeping her distance for the rest of the round and twitching backwards at the smallest hint of a Dove Cameron advance. Dove’s exclusivity also leaves her face wide open, however, and Roberts manages to shock her across the cheek with a well-placed hook in the third minute. If Dove is sent into disarray, however, she ain’t showing it, calmly rubbing that chin of hers with a sly hand and smirk, before resuming her fighting stance and trying to advance again. Not much other success this round for the younger fighter, but you can’t help but admire her tenacity.

ROUND 5:
Emma tries to seal the deal here or at least extend her lead. So far, she’s proven herself to be the more dominant and experienced fighter of the pair, rocking punches into Dove’s space whenever she least expects it. But this round kicks off with a regular pounding of Cameron’s arms when the two blondes clash in the middle, but then, Dove suddenly springs a feint to the left to force Emma raise her guard to defend - KAPOW!! A right hook to the face swivels Emma’s head clean to the side, and suddenly, it’s Cameron’s turn to walk her down towards the ropes!! Emma probably doesn’t realise what hit her as she takes shot after shot straight into the chin, her back hitting the ropes moments later before her tummy taking a spattering of one-two-threes packed into the midsection and folding her over with a groan. Dove continues to hammer her arms and body, and with the crowd suddenly roaring at her back, and the young blonde fully intent on winning her honour back. Only thing that saves Emma from sheer destruction is keeping her head low and chin shoved into Cameron’s chest in a tightly secured clinch, and the Doll manages to hold onto the shoulders whilst breathing hard to the bell. Dove with her best round so far, but she’s surely feeling more than a little frustrated at having the knockdown denied.

ROUND 6:
Emma ain’t looking too fresh at this point, though. She’s sucking in deep chugs of air as she skirts the ropes, hoping to keep Dove away this round with constant jabs to her head. Dove not letting her get away, however, immediately leaping inwards to resume her abuse. Emma lets out a grunt as her guard gets hammered by a leap-in superwoman punch that blows her backwards, with Dove following up with even more hooks swung under to pack leather into the tummy and ribs. Emma’s wilting under pressure, trying to keep her feet moving but constantly getting the air rocked from her lungs with every blow landing smack on her body, Dove then reaching over the arms to rattle her with a separate punch between the eyes. Cameron is fighting smarter this round by not getting too close for Emma to clinch up with her again, and Roberts has to rely on her guard to hold on till the bell. But another hook to the side of the head has the Doll stumbling again into the ropes, her mouth hanging wide open in shock. AND HERE COMES DOVE, stepping in with another right hand packed into the belly, before a final hook CUTS across Emma’s chin, which SENDS HER DOWN! Emma gets felled to her side by the ropes!! Cameron with the first KNOCKDOWN of the evening, and still with plenty of energy left to burn! The youngster has put her money where her mouth is, striding back to the neutral corner with both hands raised high in the air! Meanwhile, Roberts is sputtering and coughing spittle, trying to push off her chest but the rest of her body ain’t cooperating, and the referee already counting her halfway out when she’s barely crawled her way up to the middle rope! Emma’s head is still hanging off the middle rope when the ref finally hits the count of 10! Poor Roberts has a look of pain and dismay on her face as she clings onto the middle rope in agony and despair, realizing she’s just been defeated again! It’s all OVER!

Official Decision: Dove Cameron defeats Emma Roberts via KO6!

AFTER:
Disaster strikes (and it’s name is Dove Cameron!) for the Dollhouse as their top flyweight falls to her opponent for the third time in a row this year with Dove Cameron continuing her impressive rise through the ranks with another convincing performance here tonight!

This marks Emma’s longest losing streak since joining the Dollhouse and one has to wonder what is going through her mind right now (if she can even think straight at the moment) and what is the reason for this unfortunate slump for a woman who’s been competing for the title mere months ago.

The Dollhouse team RUSH into the ring following Electra’s command to prevent the victorious blonde from inflicting any further physical (or mental) damage on the hurting Roberts, but Dove doesn’t seem to care – The young blonde pays no mind to her defeated victim, takes a victory lap around the ring with her hands raised, blowing kisses to her growing amount of fans that certainly got their money’s worth tonight.

Dove leaves the ring shortly after accompanied by her team, making a beeline towards the exit wearing a cocky smirk on her face, knowing she has made a big statement tonight with this win, and perhaps Emma’s stablemate Avril Lavigne herself should be worried in case Cameron comes a- knocking demanding a rematch for losing that fight 4 long years ago.

As for Roberts, for someone as proud herself, it remains to be seen if she will swallow her pride and pick and choose her battles more carefully going forward to help her kick out of this unfortunate slump and turn things around before the end of the year.
