Intro:
Rematch time as Kaya Scodelario and Saoirse Ronan meet for the second time in their careers, they fought last year on PPV with Kaya was able to knockout Saoirse in six rounds, since then though the former champion hasn't had the best of runs, can Saoirse even the score or will Kaya find her footing again.

Both took to social media to voice their opinions on this fight, with Kaya posting "I see that my management think I need to go over old ground, well guess I'll challenge myself to knock you out earlier Saoirse, remind those in the division who the best really is" not lacking any confidence, even with her bad form.

Saoirse not backing down as she replies through her own account "hope you're not overlooking me Kaya? I remember having you on the ropes a few times and I've been improving every fight I am in, so good luck Kaya" ready for this battle.

Fight night, out first comes Kaya through the curtain, she normally would have Hilary Swank with her but tonight she has Taryn Terrell in her corner as her coach, Eva Carneiro as usual her cut woman, she walks down the aisle with an intense look, wearing a black sports bra, black and white chequered trunks, black boots, white gloves, hair tied into a ponytail, she steps through the ropes nodding to Taryn when she is told to take this fight seriously.

Saoirse now steps out onto the stage, giving the crowd a nod with a smile as she enjoys their cheers, jogging down the aisle with her coach behind her, she is wearing an emerald green sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair is braided, she climbs through the ropes with a quick fist bump with her coach, she looks ready to fight.

The referee waves the fighters to them, bouncing on their toes exchanging harsh looks with their opponent, they do touch gloves when prompted, though it's definitely not a friendly touch as a crack of leather rings out, they jog back to their corners, the referee seeing both are ready signals for the bell to ring, beginning 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both come out their corners with their eyes locked as they trade single punches, it isn't long before Saoirse steps in with a straight to the chest of Kaya, followed by a left cross to the cheek, looking to pressure back Kaya to the outside part of the round, driving back Kaya towards the ropes.

A missed right by Saoirse leaves her open to a counter uppercut that rocks her back, the tables turning as Kaya forces Ronan back onto her heels, with a double jab knocking back the head of the Irish lass, with Saoirse trying to fight back off her back foot, getting caught with clean shots across her face.

As they enter the final minute, Kaya gets shoved back, they nearly clash heads as they both swing in a right hook, a left cross turns Kaya's head, she responses with a straight into Saoirse's lips, they slug it out in close as the time ticks away, at the bell it's hard to call who won the round.

Round 2:
Trading stiff jabs out the gates, Saoirse is again the first to make a move with a right cross after a feint smacking Kaya across her jaw, driving back the English fighter to the ropes, where she mauls her to the body as she drives her head down, Kaya landing several cross punches to the side of Saoirse's body to try to ward her off.

Instead Kaya needs to give her opponent a shove, but she can't get far off the ropes as Saoirse is definitely in the mood to bully her, both trading in phonebooth style action, heads rubbing as they slug it out, Kaya gets clipped with an uppercut to her jaw to force her back.

Less then a minute to go, Kaya starts to double up her jab, catching Saoirse as the aggressive blonde is too open, Saoirse stalking after her foe, both landing stiff punches through the others mitts to the others beautiful face, the round comes to an end with Saoirse tapping her gloves together as she jogs to her corner, looking fired up to even the score with Kaya.

Round 3:
Back out they come trading around the center of the ring, with Saoirse looking for an opening, getting hit around her cheeks, with Kaya trying to rely on her footwork and jab, wanting to give herself some peace from Ronan rampaging at her.

But Saoirse is motivated, deflecting a jab to step in with a left cross that catches Kaya on her jaw, Kaya knocked onto her heels as Saoirse comes in hard, banging away with piston like punches, Scodelario holding onto her as they fight onto the ropes, crowd roaring the fighters on as they hold and hit each others kidneys, referee breaking them up warning them to keep it clean.

When they resume Kaya is being driven back right away, covering up as she goes defensive under the relentless pressure from Ronan, Taryn yelling at Kaya to do something more then cower, it's easier said then done when you are pressed into a corner and someone is throwing hooks at you, Kaya trying to fight back as seconds tick away, at the bell Kaya shoves Saoirse to her chest in frustration, if not for the referee things could have went sour there as Saoirse looks ready to brawl with her, crowd loving the hate between these two.

Round 4:
It looks like Kaya wants to take the fight to Saoirse, both women bump heads early on as they step in, referee checking them over as they exchange a few one word insults, resuming in a phonebooth, it's not for the boxing purists as they hold and hit, earning a warning when they are split apart.

Resuming as they come to the half way stage of the round, Saoirse misses a left cross as Kaya leans her head out the way, landing a counter right to the jaw of the blonde, now it's Scodelario giving her opponent a taste of her own medicine, bashing back the Irish lass towards the ropes, where Kaya works her body to take some of the air out of her.

Saoirse sees her chance to fire back as Kaya dips her left low, a right cross smacking her cheek, Saoirse fighting off the ropes as Kaya retreats, again they nearly clash heads as both want to force their rival back, cracks of leather rings out as the round comes to a close, they end up headlocking each other as the referee needs their coaches to rush out and break them apart, crowd whistling and roaring for them, even chants of "let them fight!" Rings out.

Round 5:
The referee gives both a stern telling off before they are allowed to resume, they seem to have cooled out a little as they trade combos at midrange, not butting heads trying to overpower each other, still cheeks are starting to swell as they lace each other across the face with hard shots when they see an opening.

Saoirse feints with her jab before ducking under a left cross, banging in a right hook under the ribs of Kaya to make her hiss out, Saoirse then lands an overhand left to the cheek of the brunette, she drives Kaya back with a flurry of punches, when Scodelario's back hits the ropes she swings back as the crowd roars them on, the better punches are coming from Ronan as she can dodge and land counters with the room she has.

Forcing Kaya to clinch up, both land a few rabbit punches behind the others head, broken up by the referee with a warning that they'll be deducted a point soon if they keep this up, they resume with Kaya catching Saoirse coming in with a straight to her nose, followed by a jab square into her solar plexus as Ronan's gloves come up to protect her face, final moments of the round sees Kaya now on the front foot, Saoirse trying to cover up till the bell rings, ending the round with both women walking back to their corners shaking their heads in annoyance, corner crews working to clean them up as the crowd chants their names.

Round 6:
The aggression of Saoirse has been a factor through this fight, it proves to be an issue now as she tries to walk down Kaya, but misses with a straight as Kaya slips it and buries an uppercut into her stomach, a left hook then catches her around her ear, as Saoirse groans out, AS SAOIRSE TRIES TO CLINCH UP AN UPPERCUT ON HER CHIN SNAPS HER HEAD BACK, LEFT HOOK LANDS ON HER TEMPLE AS RONAN COLLAPSES ON HER LEFT SIDE TO THE DELIGHT OF THE GIRLS FRIDAY CORNER!

Kaya raises her arms in the air as she stares angrily at Saoirse, then marches to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Groaning as she rolls to her back, Saoirse has her eyes shut, 5...6...7.. Gumshield hanging out her mouth before she spits it out to suck in air, 8....9...10 it's over for Saoirse, counted out by the referee!

Winner Kaya Scodelario KO Round 6

After:
Another important win for Kaya as she looks to resurrect her title aspirations, walking around the ring telling the crowd "I'm the f**king best!" As she let's out her frustration, Taryn giving her a hug when she gets back to her corner, telling her to use that anger to fuel her charge back to the top.

While Saoirse has to be helped up to her feet by her coach and over to her corner after being checked over, she leans against the turnbuckles taking in some deep breaths as she got winded before the knockout punches started flying her way, heartbreaking defeat for her in a fight at times she was bossing.

No respect shown by Kaya as she marches to the middle of the ring once her gloves are off, getting her left hand raised as she makes sure she is facing Saoirse when the result is announced to make sure she knows who won this fight, with the normally mild mannered Saoirse mouthing "bytch" at her.

With help from her coach Saoirse is helped out the ring, not wanting to be in the presence of Kaya any longer, she gets fans at ringside telling her they love her and that she'll get revenge on Kaya next time around, she nods to them but doesn't look overly keen right now to thank them, still stewing over this defeat.

The winner on the other hand stands hands on her hips for the cameras, staring right into the lens as she says "I won't be held back any longer, I will rule this division again" then waves Taryn over to hug her, maybe sending as much a message to her old coach Hilary Swank it seems as much as to the other fighters in the division.

She steps out the ring with her corner crew, Kaya beaming for the first time in months, which is how long it's been since she put two wins back to back, it's too early to say that she is ready to get back into the elite but she seems to have found peace again with the head coach of her stable then the bantamweight one, though don't expect Kaya not to start complaining again if things start to go wrong.
