Sayumi Michishige vs Ola Jordan
(Front Street Japan vs Frankie's Foxes)
(3-3, 3 KO vs 15-17, 11 KO)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: Sayumi Michishige endured a terrible 2021 season going 0-3 and the loss to Perrie Edwards looks extremely bad on paper but Ayako Hamada is convinced her protegee can bounce back against the BBU crowd favorite Ola Jordan who doesn't exactly win a lot of her fights these days either. BBU TV's Georgie Thompson calls this a typical undercard filler however we could be in for some fireworks as Ola makes some taunting gestures during the introductions and claims she came here to whack the local favorite out of the building. These Foxes are usually too erratic for their own sake so let's see if the Polish dancer can snap her losing streak here in the Tokyo Dome tonight.

Sayumi Michishige wears a navy blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Ola Jordan wears a white bikini set & red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Ola jumps into a quick slugging start and pummels the singer with some hard shots up the middle but eventually gets caught over the top as Sayumi realizes she has to stop the losing streak by simply enforcing her aggression in the ring. Ola's dancing background helps her to avoid immediate danger and she accepts the slugging exchange hoping to cash in with some of these aggressive swings against a seemingly out-of-form opponent. The back & forth continues during the opening round however precision goes away and prevents any of these girls to truly dominate the action. A late clash of heads stalls the action for good in the closing seconds and both corners think they've won this round on points.

Rounds 2 & 3:
More chaotic action in the ring with both girls applying genuine slugging pressure but the power supply just isn't there to provide a slam dunk moment for the time being. Ola goes outside of the box by dropping several body shots in the second round and she makes Sayumi move around in more hectic fashion thereafter alas she eats a nasty stinger over the top and begins to gurgle in discomfort when the Japanese singer connects with a couple of hook on each temple as well. More of the same in the third, Ola works to the brunette's body early but gets muscled out of the phone booth and has to think better off it when Michishige catches her on the fly with some pesky head shots down the stretch. Still nothing to choose between these two and Georgie Thompson thinks all rounds have been drawn thus far which is a small victory for the European tourist already!

Rounds 4 & 5:
Ola drops the body hammer again and this time she hurts Sayumi outright, she drills into her tummy and moves up to plug one shot into her solar plexus before a looping left hook tears a small gash under the left eye as well. Michishige slumps onto her heels and gets duly pummelled back to the ropes where Jordan cranks up the jabbing volume and buries the younger foe behind a desperate earmuff. Ugh! Sayumi has to clinch the dancer in order to survive the late onslaught but she runs out of luck early in the fifth when a booming right-on-right opening FLOORS HER ON THE SPOT!!! Ugh! Disaster for the local fans as Sayumi hits the deck flat on her backside and can't quite believe what just happened here. Meanwhile Ola taunts some of the front seat patrons and makes more gestures aimed at the Front Street Japan corner during the slow-ish count. Sayumi manages to rise to her feet at eight but appears to be frozen by the exprience so the Polish dancer smokes her with more head shots and buries in the corner moments later. Still over a minute left on the clock and the leather barrage overwelms the ailing singer who bursts into spasms when Jordan splits her mitts and pounds away in fury to rearrange her face! Another deep cut under the left eye signals game over for Michishige as the REF STEPS IN to stop the fight!!! TKO5 Ola Jordan!!!

AFTER: Huge win for the blonde veteran who denies rumours about replacing Myleene Klass as Frankie Cocozza's personal... ahem.. assistant: "I can still punch some of these slags right under a rock they crawled from! And I have many fans who love to see me at work! Can't wait for more challenges!" (winks).

Meanwhile it's a grim atmosphere in the Japanese corner, Sayumi was presented with a perfect opponent to snap her losing streak that now extends to four and throws her contender ambitions out of the window according to unnamed sources within the Ayako Hamada stable. Time to go all-in with Asuka Kuramochi instead?

Official Result: Ola Jordan def. Sayumi Michishige TKO5.
