Intro:
Funny how a month can change perceptions of a fight, Charlotte McKinney (3-0) a month ago would be a massive favourite to win over Charlotte Flair (1-2) but two wins for Flair over Kate Bock and Ronda Rousey have moved the odds closer, here in Melbourne's Kooyong Stadium can McKinney keep on track for the title?

At the Green and Gold magazine's offices both women were given a chance to speak their minds on camera, McKinney entered the office wearing a white bikini top and matching shorts with sandals, smiling as she says to the interviewer Sarah Cummings "sorry for the look, I've been jogging on the beach and didn't have time to change" Sarah joking that the busty blonde model isn't the only person she's interviewed to do that.

Charlotte sits down with Sarah asking her about how she is dealing with the pressure of being a tournament front runner, she answers "ever since I entered the FCBA I have been in box office bouts, remember I fought Kate Upton in my early days in wars, so while I haven't been at the elite table in a while, I am feeling great and ready to win this damn tournament" grinning as she flexes her right arm to prove how ready she is.

The subject turns to her opponent, she chuckles before telling Sarah "you mean the number two Charlotte in the FCBA? I am happy to show her that I am number one around here" nodding to Sarah before she tells her she is off for a training session, showing her dedication to her boxing.

While Charlotte Flair in her usual manner barrages into the office, wearing a gold glittery dress as she doesn't bother sitting, just telling Sarah "roll the camera, you're about to see a pro at work" waving her hand to Sarah to hurry up, even as Sarah tells her the camera is on.

"Listen here McKinney, you are lucky that you have the name Charlotte but unlucky you weren't born into royalty like me, I am a dynasty and while I fell off the horse for a bit, I showed why you never look down on a queen" Charlotte says as if she were in a WWE ring cutting a promo, walking out the room as fast as she had entered.

Fight night first through the curtain comes Charlotte McKinney with her coach behind her, she is wearing a white bikini with black trim, black gloves with her hair in a braid, she climbs into the ring blowing kisses to her fans, as she looks relaxed for this big fight.

Now the blue sparks fly each side of the stage as here comes the self professed "Queen" Charlotte Flair, she steps on the stage in her long blue robe with feathers on the collar, she struts down the aisle with her coach in tow, the robe comes off before she steps into the ring, wearing a navy blue bikini with matching gloves, her hair in a braid too as she poses with her arms out to the side to a mixed reaction.

Both Charlotte's walk to the center of the ring, glares being exchanged as these two don't seem to like each other one bit, especially when Flair won't show respect to McKinney with a touch of gloves, instead she turns on her heels back to her corner, McKinney shrugging her shoulders in reply, once both fighters are in their corners the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action

Round 1:
At the bell both Charlotte's stare daggers at each other, trading stiff single punches as they feel each other out, it isn't long before they go toe to toe as they try to show their opponent whose the stronger, both retreat back though as they each land a hard right hook across the others cheek, last thing they want is to be knocked out early in the fight.

As things settle down, McKinney feints with a jab, then catches Flair out with an uppercut after dodging a straight aimed her way, that pushes Flair to her heels as three punches follow up into her face, McKinney showing her mix of hand speed and power, giving the wrestler a hard time as she has her pinned onto the ropes, whacking away with hooks till she is held onto.

Flair holds onto her opponent, grappling on the ropes as everything seems a competition for these two big beautiful blondes, referee splits them up with McKinney quick to strike again, Flair eating a left across her jugs followed by a straight onto her lips, soon the round ends with another slow start to a fight for Flair, McKinney looking happy enough as she sits on her stool nodding to her coach as they praise her work in the round.

Round 2:
Flair starting to double up her jab as she uses her footwork to try to outbox her namesake at range, both Charlotte's certainly not using kid gloves on each other as the cracks of leather ringing out attest to, Flair manages to catch McKinney coming in with a counter right to her cheek, then a left cross to the other side.

Definitely warmed up now as Flair is landing more two to three punch combos, though McKinney isn't staying too far back, landing several meaty cross punches out her guard as she stalks after the taller woman, a one-two combo landing square into McKinney's face drives her back a step as Flair gives her a taste of her power.

Still the busty model isn't going to back off so easily, she ducks under a straight to hammer home two left hooks under the ribs of Flair, they grind foreheads as they slug it out in a phonebooth style clash, McKinney looking more comfortable of the pair, when the round ends Flair makes sure to give the crowd a trademark "Woo!" To let them know who won this round.

Round 3:
Fighting around the center of the ring landing several crisp punches right into their opponent's faces, it's a hard fought opening minute to the round as McKinney is able to land some hard shots on the inside, Flair landing the better punches at range as they want to enforce their control on the action.

A missed left cross from McKinney leaves her open to a counter right to her jaw, Flair pounds in a follow up double jab to push her opponent back, McKinney soon finding herself again near the ropes, Flair looking confident as she works her opponent around those ropes, both landing hard shots but the better work coming from the WWE star.

A one-two combo lands through McKinney's gloves late in the round with a follow up left cross smacking her cheek, McKinney forced to clinch when her back is firmly pressed to the ropes, Flair leaning on her as the referee works to break them up, when the bell rings Flair again is looking like the cat that got the cream, certainly now in rhythm as McKinney has to concede as she talks to her coach that she needs to smarten up.

Round 4:
Trading more stiffer shots through their opponent's guards as they open up on each other, McKinney crouches under a jab to pound in a jab to the chest of her opponent, landing a follow up overhand right to turn Flair's head, allowing her to move to the inside to work away with mauling body shots.

Flair finding herself now having to fight off the ropes, using shoves to get McKinney off her, it's not long before McKinney is back in her face, the crowd roaring them both on as they slug it out in heated exchanges, an annoyed look starting to show on Flair's face as she isn't dominating now, instead being the one bullied in these inside exchanges.

Late in the round with Flair able to land a double jab into her smaller foes face, forcing the fight back towards the middle of the ring, where they go toe to toe, beads of sweat being knocked off brows, both proud blondes not wanting to give an inch to their opponent, at the bell they just about hold back as they look ready to keep throwing punches, referee nudging them back over to their corners.

Round 5:
Both are definitely starting to up the tempo to try to win this, McKinney the first to score big with an overhand right to knock Flair's head to the side, as she works back Flair she misses with a straight, taking an uppercut to her chin to knock her back a step as momentum switches around before they end up clinched, a little dirty boxing started by Flair with a few rabbit punches, McKinney replies with digs into her kidneys with her left.

Broken apart they fight again at the center, McKinney is looking to be the one on the front foot, Flair though catches her with a straight to the nose, no blood comes but a left hook does to turn McKinney's face, THEN AN UPPERCUT LANDS TO SEND HER ONTO HER BACKSIDE!

"Woo!" Yells Flair before she struts to the neutral corner, a cocky smirk on her face as she isn't shy about showing she is pleased, 1...2...3.. McKinney shakes her head to clear it, 4...5.. Cursing herself as she pushes to her right knee, 6...7...8... Pushing to her feet, as the model raises her fists she takes a deep breath to keep her cool, referee checks her over and nods she can fight on.

Flair comes hunting now to finish the fight now, McKinney now needing to show off a stern defence with still a minute to go, holding onto Flair when she finds herself cornered, insults flying as Flair just wants McKinney to quit, that won't happen without a fight, at the bell they push apart as the referee gets between them, seeing the fury in both fighters eyes as they take a moment before returning to their stools.

Round 6:
Understandably Flair looks on Cloud Nine, this would be a massive win if she can get it, McKinney proving to be stubborn, stinging the cheeks and chest of Flair as she now boxes more on the back foot, letting Flair make mistakes after nearly getting herself knocked out charging in.

A one-two combo does catch McKinney to her face as Flair corners her, back into a neutral corner goes the stunning model, who now has a little swelling under her left eye as a right hook smacks across her cheek, McKinney holding onto Flair again, both stepping on toes as Flair angrily forces her head into her rivals, earning her a warning when they are split apart.

Working around the ring with less then a minute to go, Flair makes a mistake as she loads up on a right hook, McKinney beats her to the punch with an uppercut that rocks back the wrestler, McKinney landing four flush punches into the face of the taller fighter to knock her into a corner, the round comes to an end with Flair not so chipper now, McKinney watching her keenly from her corner as she sees Flair is hurting, a spark of a comeback?

Round 7:
There's definitely a more cautious look to Flair, who tries to keep back McKinney with her jab, the smaller fighter looks to have a fresh spring to her step though, feinting more to create openings, lashing in some meaty hooks to the body of Flair to make her groan, Flair coming back with a one-two into the face of McKinney.

First minute passes in the round with Flair starting to try to land more power punches, a right cross misses with an overhand left clubbing her around her ear, another uppercut rocks her head back as McKinney has that punch dialled in on speed dial, a right hook has Flair looking shaky as she tries to grab onto her rival, A LEFT HOOK LANDS ON THE SIDE OF FLAIR'S HEAD, SENDING HER STUMBLING TO HER LEFT ON THE CANVAS!

McKinney doesn't bother with any taunts, she just gets to the neutral corner, taking in air in case she needs to charge Flair, 1....2....3.....4... Flair stirs as she makes it to all fours, 5...6... Trying to stand up, 7...8.. But her legs are clearly gone! Down to her right side falls Flair! 9...10 it's all over!

Winner Charlotte McKinney KO Round 7

After:
That was certainly a work out for McKinney as she raises her arms in the air, big smile for the camera as sweat makes her magnificent body glisten under the lights, win number four in the tournament as she is certainly set herself up to be a contender for the trophy at the end of the final run in.

Heading over to Flair, who has gotten to her knees, McKinney tells her "you'll always be the second best Charlotte around here" bumping Flair with her left hip as she passes her to show she still doesn't have much respect for the cocky wrestler, who nearly tumbles over, a furious look on Flair's face as she looks over her shoulder at her conqueror tonight.

Flair's coach needs to help her to her stool, where she doesn't say much beyond that she'll be OK, eyes burning a hole through the canvas as she tasted victory but grabbed defeat instead, gloves off she looks at her fists like wondering what to do.

She decides to exit the ring with help from her coach, slowly walking up the aisle shaking her head looking annoyed, her coach not saying a word as they know she can be like a ticking bomb ready to go off, Charlotte has an easy schedule in the tournament so don't write her off making a late charge up the rankings.

Meanwhile the winner heads to the center of the ring, left arm being raised in victory, her supporters in the crowd cheering her as she blows them a kiss with her right hand, then turns to look at the camera as she says "I am winning this tournament and nobody is stopping me" in a warning to her rivals for the trophy.

She leaves the ring with her coach, this tournament certainly seems to have sprung new life into McKinney's career, can she sustain this push without a stable to reach the top? She certainly has the drive to do so as she marches up the ramp to the back, three more fights to go for her to realise her dream of holding the trophy.
