Sarah Shahi vs Hayden Panetierre

Before: “I think it's a little pathetic if you ask me,” Hayden opines, “Sarah's way too old to be true beach. I'll tell you something - if she thinks she's going to showcase on me - she's got another thing coming.”

“I’m coming back home, fighting under the sun and I’m going to put this tie behind me,” Sarah quips, “Unfortunately, Hayden has to pay the price, but then again, somebody always does.”

Ringposts in sand setup. Hayden in purple sports bra & terrycloth shorts, hair back in battlepony. Sarah in black push up, leopard print bikini bottoms, hair loose and windblown wild.

R1: Sarah punching as she steps--right hand off Hayden’s chin, hook on the jaw, right hand on the forehead--blonde driven ropeside. Shahi crowds in rough with her left shoulder, feet planted and RIPPING hooks to Panny’s breadbasket! Hayden in shock--6,7,8 digging blows (picture DeNiro in “Raging Bull” jack hammering away)--breathless blonde finally ties up, legs on the verge of giving. Ref’s break--Sarah pushes back in, bodying Panetierre upright, going to her ribs now with rights--PILING them on--6,7,8--driving in with her upper body to pancake Hall-of-Famer upright and foil the clinch. Sarah shoving, resetting, back on the body with multiple chugging hooks. Bell to bell Shahi just ON Panny, pumping away one hand, then the other for a hard-charging first. Hayden slumped, stunned-grinning Sarah mocks her by pretending to warm her hands on blonde’s pinking tummy after the bell.

R2&3: Hayden better prepared, wades into Sarah with the similar short-arm, walking barrage, bashing lefts and rights against brunette’s head and shoulders, backing her up. Shahi covering, riding it out, then answering back thick body-shots hooks, keeping right hand tight to her chin. Panetierre soaks it up, then answer back in kind--torrid hooking action to paunch, right hand tucked in under her chin. Back and forth--girls often changing places to work each other over at the ropes, staying close in, bumping heads and shoulders when not working. Bell neither girl lets up--ref has to enforce a break on seethng juggernauts.

R4: Girls bobbing herky-jerk, crossing arms--they close bump shoulders and Hayden’s getting off. Hooking-out-the-bob, scoring to the bicep and chest, arching her back, twisting her hip to get up loud to breadbasket. Sarah grunting, tightlipped, backed up on her heels--Panny the busier, better girl early, steadily forcing Shahi’s back to the ropes. Hayden leaning in with her head scrubbing tousle, jamming away to body, palming and bullying--Sarah getting low, driving in with her shoulder to step blonde back, get a little room off the ropes. Torrid two-way late--both girls chucking savage, short-arm leather and HAYDEN GETS HURT! Shahi throwing a right shoulder hard to Panny’s chest, bumps her off, lands the left uppercut clean and sends shockwaves down her backside. Hayden slipping to her right with a blank expression, Sarah pouncing, clubbing rights to the skull, hooking to the body and PANETIERRE GOES DOWN! Hayden losing her balance and stumbling to all fours at the ropes under bludgeoning Shahi heat--brunette roaring, pounding her chest and stomping away--Panetierre up quick, blushing at the bell.

R5: Sarah walking Hayden into punches, placing pinpoint shots and falling off to the side, executing clinically after the chaos of last round. Shahi getting the tidy left uppercut, the jab and the left hook, just swinging 'round Panetierre's right flank, making blonde reset her feet. Minute mark - Hayden unleashes a reckless barrage of wide lefts and rights - each deftly parried, slipped and rolled as Sarah covers up in the pocket. Shahi's retort: tapping little right uppercut on the chin, cute left-shoulder bump and a SAVAGE hook DEEP to liver. Shivering blast drawing a cry of pain from Panny - elbows in she backs away, weaves, then sinks to her haunches. IT'S OVER! Devastating body shot KO5 for Sarah Shahi.

After: Sarah rolling Hayden up, gutting the HOFer with the veteran ability to counter speed with timing. No shame for Panny, she was doing well, hurting Shahi and taking it to her, just misjudging Sarah’s condition and starting the finish run a little early in the fourth.
