( FOX & JANTZEN 110 TITLE UNIFICATION BOUT)

Before:

Rivals eager to put up respective belts in high stakes 110 pound action. Pfeiffer back on form, the sharper, combination puncher in this contest. Hatcher with the hammer--confident she can stop the willowy blonde.  Neither girl takes a terrific shot, over under placed at 4 rounds, Hatcher in black bikini top, red nylon jogging shorts, Michelle in black bikini top, black nylon jogging shorts--ponytails apiece.

During R1: Pfeiffer confounds the experts, and Teri as she comes out the slugger to open the first. Banging Hatcher’s head to the aside with cracking right hands. Pfeiffer back the brunette up all the around the ring., and in the middle minute has Teri swooning. Vicious slashing rights and left hooks bash Teri’s face back and forth as she reels under the pressure, gloves at her waist, taking shots. Rubbery legged, and looking rattled, Teri escapes the round behind a desperate smoke-screen of jabs, as Michelle stalks, still loading up right hands, but unable to land the big one this round.

R2; Hatcher recovers and comes out storming this round, paying Michelle back in kind, with interest, Teri bending into right hands, finds Michelle’s face available as the blonde incredibly continues to slug it out. Hatcher in her rhythm, slinging right hands, twisting her torso back the other way to land whipping left hooks, touching Michelle’s face with the left before lunging into the booming right. Pfeiffer now hurt, reeling, nearly defenceless as she soaks up bomb after bomb from Hatcher. Teri punched out after battering Michelle, and in the final minute, Pfeiffer whacks away with combinations up tunder the ribcage. These are arm punches, but their sufficient to keep Teri from punching, and Michelle escapes further destruction.

R3: PAYBACK again! Pfeiffer loads up, and stalking flat footed, cracks Teri across the jaw as the brunette is too slow leaning away from the telegraphed punch. Hatcher looking confused, stands straight up, and takes a grazing right hand off her forehead--delayed action as Teri seems okay for a second, and then her legs give out, spilling her along the ropes as her hands drop. Pfeiffer hopping after the hurt brunette, squares up and goes to Teri’s midsection, fighting off Hatcher’s chest to dig lefts and rights into the brunettes stomach. Hatcher groaning, trying to clinch, sits on the ropes and takes tremendous punishment as her slender legs tremble at the bell.

R4: Michelle seems to have broken Teri’s spirit as the brunette retreats, hands low, not wanting anymore of the fierce trade that Pfeiffer is offering. Michelle hunting her prey, walking Teri down, and striding into overhand rights as Hatcher bends away--Teri getting clipped, but able to avoid flush connects--until the midway point. Michelle able to close distance, hammer Teri’s breasts left and right with alternating uppercuts from in close, then crouching and advancing. Michelle chops away with clubbing lefts and rights as Hatcher  folds, Pfeiffer stepping and punching, following through into the crouch, then exploding up out of it, has Hatcher up against the ropes, and the blonde lets her hands go. Teri glassy-eyed, gloves at her lips, is quickly pounded senseless as Pfeiffer’s gloves tear up Hatcher’s limp defence. Teri wanders away from the ropes, hands at her side, and Michelle chops down from almost behind Teri with a right on the cheek, Hatcher’s leg jolts up off the canvas--then the brunette crumples to the mat in a heap. Startling stoppage as Teri rolls to her back, unable to continue--KO4 Michelle Pfeiffer.

After Pfeiffer collects Teri’s  Jantzen title and suddenly looks a world beater after two terrific performances. “Teri can dish it out, but she can’t take it,” explained Michelle in post fight. “I had this idea that if I came right at her, she’s fold, and that’s what happened.”
Pfeiffer not known as a puncher, looked almost Hagleresque as she stalked and pounded-out the brunette slugger in this one.
