Before: Neve on comeback trail, but still not looking for creampuffs. “If I’m still on. I should beat Teri,” says Campbell, “ but she will push me--no doubt about it. Teri’s still dangerous early and I have to be sharp o keep her under control.” Hatcher with a lot of the tools it takes to bother Neve--she’s got to rein in her brawler’s heart and stick Campbell fro the outside,. Play a frustrating game of attrition, Teri in red underwire bikini, Neve in cerulean blue bikini.

During R1: Hatcher off to a quick start, tamping Neve down with stiff jabs early, circling clockwise--Campbell rigid behind a tight guard, just turning, letting Hatcher get off. Teri methodically going to body, weight on her front foot, cranking in the hook flat and loud to Neve’s breadbasket--Campbell stills squaring up, taking. Down the stretch, Teri’s able to mix in the slinging right cross off the body shots and the combination of it all shakes Neve up. Campbell rocked in the tummy, guard loosens up just a tad and a slick Hatcher right finds mouth. Neve dropped to her butt, up quick at the bell, shaking her head in anger at herself.

R2: Totally different Neve--she’s taking the fight to Teri, being the aggressor, walking through Hatcher’s jab to fight at close range. Banging rib work backs Teri to the ropes--she’s flat footed, wide stance, hands up around Neve’s ears trying to pull the younger brunette down into uppercuts, Neve banging the body, shaking Teri, freezing up her legs, shaking off Hatcher’s counter uppercuts--Hatcher visibly wilting under the sustained clubbing pressure. Furious two-way trade evolves--girls hooking each other’s bodies, chopping righty to chin, come-back hooks to chin and HATCHER GOES DOWN! Teri beaten to a clapping hook in close--big head snap--Hatcher straight down to her haunches then lolling up against the ropes as she chin rests on her chest. It’s OVER--KO2 Neve Campbell in devastating fashion.

After: Neve gives her head a shake, wades into the slender brunette to hammer Teri out in brutal style. Hatcher a long time coming around--tuff body work complimenting the rude chin music, adds up to a bad beating for a veteran who’s not taking punches the way she used to. “I don’t know what was thinking,” says Neve of the first round give away. “In just let Teri work and she dropped me, that should never have happened. My corner reminded me to be rough with Teri, go right at her--we knew she couldn’t take my pressure.”
