BLOOD FEUD ‘99

FOX FLYWEIGHT TITLE

Posted by Simguy on Saturday 20-Nov-1999 12:59:44

Before: Puttin’ the blood in blood feud, Milano defends her title against hated rival Fishel in the latest installment of this bitter rivalry. Both girls look to be in great shape, Milano chirping “If you can’t beat’em in the alley, you can’t beat’em in the ring” throughout  pre-fight, Fishel supporters drown out Milano maniacs during Dani’s ring walk--security guards take positions to maintain crowd decorum, Dani in teal push up, grey cotton stretch briefs. Milano in red push up, red cotton stretch briefs, ring instructions are delayed as the girls posture and push before the bell.

During R1: looking like twin Pazienzas, the girls charge out of their respective corner s to lay waste to one another’s bodies with wild right hands out of a wide stance. Fishel backs Alyssa up as the girls trade rights, and Milano against the ropes takes a feverish pounding up and down her sides as Dani twits back and forth into churning punches. In the final minute, Alyssa huddling up, comes back up the middle wit short left and right uppercuts, turning her full shoulders into riveting blows to back Dani to center ring. Round ends as Milano scores heavily to the midriff with right hands Fishel covers her face. Both  girls suffering unintentional head butts as each strains to get the most out of her compact physique in wild action.

R2: More of the same frenetic action, with Dani leaping out to an early lead, Milano coming on late. Dani welting her foe’s ribs and flanks with wide lefts and rights, comes inside with a curling left hook to outrage Alyssa’s breasts. Milano fighting machine-like, staying in her envelope. Coming out of her crouch with an uppercut to Dani’s face or a log hook to her midriff--both girls soaking up tremendous punishment in this violent affair, In the few warnings from the ref, At the bell, Dani beaming confidently, nodding “yes” as the crowd roars.

R3e: Milano seems to have struggled ion top as Dani comes out slower and Alyssa feasts on the girl’s tummy early with bludgeoning barrage of wide right hands. Fishel covering up, Alyssa working up and down, looking Frazier-esque as she rolls over the hook to the head and body, or turns a shoulder into crunching short right hands. Dani pummeled to the ropes, and the ref taking a close look as Milano’s work starts to break Dani down. A pounding right uppercut on the teeth straightens Fishel, hurting her and she starts to react sluggishly as Milano works. Alyssa throwing in twos--two rights to the waist, two lefts to the waist, two chopping lefts on the jaw--Dani seems frozen, taking punches, Another crushing uppercut on the face, and Dani goes limp, eyes swelling, gloves drooping. Milano continues her steady pace, pushing Dani into the ropes, touching her body with a forearm before banging in the one-two, then ripping the right uppercut on Fishel’s wide open face. By the final minute, Dani is a wreck, swaying on trembling legs, and Milano takes her apart with non-stop clubbing lefts and rights, punching freely as Fishel rocks from one foot to the other, Fishel’s mouthpiece spins out as her head is cracked viciously to the side. AND THE REF STEPS IN! Dani with closing eyes and dazed senses, shakes her head feebly, blubbering “No” as the ref holds her about the shoulders. Milano leaping up into the corner ringposts pumping her fists as the crowd cries tears of jubilation with the TKO3 victory.

After: Despite a very close contest until the stoppage, Milano waxes on her greatness in post fight. “I was SO much better than Dani tonight,” Crows Alyssa, “I saw she came in soft and I knew I could hurt her to the body--but she was screaming when I hit her, The ref heard her say she couldn’t take my punches, and that’s why he stopped it. She didn’t want any more, believe me,” Fishel shocked at the stoppage, despite absorbing terrific punishment, and highly resentful of Milano’s misrepresentation of the facts during winner’s air time.
