TESS VALMORE

This weekend’s PPV featured three bouts and what is so great is there were no small girls. None of the fights went past the third round

PORISKOVA/BUNDCHEN This is a fight that I actually didn’t look forward to. Hot women fight on every card and some of them can really fight. These two can’t. Nobody gave Porizkova a chance and everybody was right. The fight was one sided. In the third round Bundchen was all over Porizkova including some blatantly illegal tactics and Porizkova was toast. Fouling aside, Bundchen would have finished off Porizkova before the regulation time. Of course, there was some post fight activity that we neither condone or cover.

SCOTT/ CARPENTER I was originally rooting for Scott since we had predicted her win,but when she come into the ring with that atrocious hot pink outfit and that ponytail, ringlet hairdo, I decided that she has to be a loser and decided to root for Carpenter. Jennifer did not disappoint. It was back and forth for the first four rounds. In the fifth, Carpenter came out with a blistering body attack that drove Scott to the ropes. Carpenter kept up the assault until Scott went down for the count. Scott continues to reinforce her reputation as the greatest disappoint in the FCBA, Carpenter, on the other hand is surprising. Little used, she seems to us to deserve better. We would like to see a lot more of her. She is a fighter that deserves a stable contract. Unfortunately there are 36 fighters listed at lightweight and most or in mega stables (those stables, six fighters or over). We would like to see her under contract but unfortunately there are already too many under contract, whose managers are not actively trying to get them fights. She is just at the wrong time

COLE/ STRAHOVSKI As in the previous fight, I came into this bout favoring Cole, but quickly changed who I was rooting for. Coles’s comment that ‘I don’t have TIME for Yvonne” was a total turnoff. Cole took the first round but the second was a Cole disaster. Strahovski, disregarding the body attack went for Cole’s chin a scored and Cole went down. She got up, but Strahovki stampeded her into the ropes and as Cole covered up,Strahovski went to the body, pounding away until the referee stopped the fight. I have been skeptical about Strahovski, but this performances convinces me that she is for real. This kid could be great. Cole is starting to look like another Scott
