Before: One lump of clay, coming right up. How much has Gershon got left? That's the question, and Jewel will need to make age a factor in this bout if she hopes to compensate for Gershon's slick prowess with the gloves. Cotton spaghetti strap tank top and panties for Jewel (powder blue) Gena in black satin camisole, black panties. Plenty of backstage gossip surrounds the bout as members of the same stable establish pecking order.

During R1: Is that Jewel, or a little Mike Tyson? Jewel coming out with an Iron Mike rush to open the round, missing a left but bashing a winging right off Gershon's eyebrow to send the classy brunette reeling backwards. Gershon wide eyed and stunned, takes several more hammering right hands, barely turning with the blows before she can get her legs under her and start to stick and move. Kilcher rides her power punching to points, and nearly sends Gershon home early in the first.

R2: Gena G starts to fight, still a little shaky from Jewel's opening onslaught. Gershon using the jab to set up a short chopping right hand, then clinching, walking Jewel around to make the blonde move her feet, then stepping back outside to start again. Gershon has the timing of Jewel's right hand at this point, turning with the punch, then coming back hard with a short right counter to the jug and chin. Midway through the round, Gershon nails the counter right to the teeth of Kilcher, rocking the blonde's head back and sending a shiver through the blonde's thighs. Gershon putting her punches together down the stretch to beat a shutout round out of Jewel.

R3: Jewel not going away. Toe to toe, Gershon looks to break Jewel's composure with pressure, but the young blonde takes Gena's combinations without a backward step, and looks to land wide left hooks to the ribs. All even to the final minute when Jewel digs a hard right hand to Gershon's sternum, putting a deep knee bend in the brunette's legs, and once again Gena G stagger back hurt. Jewel finishing up strong, pushing Gershon to the ropes and laying waste to the waist with both fists at the bell.

R4: Gena answers the challenge, shaking off the damage and posting another shutout. Using the jab to Kilcher's eyes, Gena strikes with the quick right hand, then walks Jewel around to keep Kilcher off balance.

R5: Jewel showing her best form of the night, taking a little off the fastball, but overwhelming Gena with compact punching pressure. Jewel bodying up, fights off Gena's chest and makes the old woman work inside, piling up mileage on the brunette's legs with punishing lefts and rights between the hips. Gershon screaming into her bit, is backed to and battered along the ropes from corner to corner - Jewel stepping with the nimble brunette and simply bludgeoning her to a standstill. Kilcher with a post round shove at the bell, looks like a fighter.

R6: Gena answering as she has all night long, taking the pressure from Jewel and coming back with a shutout. Gershon more mobile, takes the round with her left hand, stepping around Jewel, hooking off the jab, and using her legs to change up the distance on Kilcher.

R7: Jewel still landing heavy leather, but her arms look tired, and Gena is now going to work with precision strikes to the blonde's soft features. Banging combinations, and good lateral movement have Jewel following, pivoting, but not punching as she tries to line Gena up without success.

R8: Another shutout for Gershon as she finally shakes off Jewel's body shots and piles up points. Fighting comfortably outside, Gershon able to score at will with the jab, finding openings for her slashing right hand, and easily stepping away from Jewel's increasingly desperate right hands.

R9: Gershon getting after Jewel's breasts, taking a moment to indulge herself as Kilcher looks discouraged. Too much hand and foot speed at this point - Kilcher following, getting embarrassed by combinations.

R10: Gershon busts Jewel up with the lead right to open the round, changing direction around Kilcher to move right, and fight out of the southpaw stance the rest of the way. Kilcher a sucker for the right jab, wide left hook to the lips, gets beaten raw this round as Gena caps off a wonderful boxing lesson for the blonde. Jewel still coming forward in the final minute, crossing her arms, taking punches, but making the fight nonetheless. Unanimous decision Gena Gershon.

After: Gershon with grudging respect for Kilcher after suffering from Jewel's bruising body work. Jewel showed her best form yet over the first half of the fight, but finally lost her technique as Gena's movement broke her down. Gershon wins the last 5 rounds going away, and boxes beautifully to the decision, but showed something close to fear whenever Jewel squared up to punch. It's a good, polished performance from Gena, but critics wonder if struggling against Jewel early can be dismissed as mere rust at this point
