Before: Team Jewel figures it's time, and this showdown has been in the works since Kilcher's debut. Both girls like it in close, both are murderous body punchers, and now Kilcher has the mechanics of her swing down, she feels she can stand in with the mighty Mex. Lopez begs to disagree, saying "You ain't ready for this" in pre-fight Springer sessions. Jewel with the ponytail, light blue bikini top, navy blue bottoms, white shoes and gloves, Jennifer in pale blue bikini from her video, white gloves and shoes.

During R1: Lopez out to make a statement, gets in Jewel's face and shuts her out this round. Jen very rough with Jewel, banging her forehead into Kilcher's lips, often straying low with rolling combinations between the hips, and hitting on the break. Jewel covering up, but not getting off, and where's that nice jab she showed against Charisma?

R2: Lopez back on Jewel's body, ripping hooks in behind the elbow, but forehead to forehead Kilcher won't back down and begins beating Jennifer into retreat with short right hands to the breasts and ribs. Girls trading inside, and Kilcher's heavy hands get the better of it as Lopez goes pouty-lipped in the final minute, soaking it up while Jewel gets off.

R3: Grinding trench warfare continues - the girls bodying up, leaning in on one another - it's Jen's left hook against Jewel's clubbing right hand. Bellies are beaten purple as neither girl takes a backward step - Lopez the busier, scoops the points.

R4: All Lopez as the third round simply becomes the fourth - identical action. Girls writhing and leaning against each other inside, Lopez getting leverage, straightens Jewel and has the blonde on her heels this round. Kilcher covering up, just isn't busy enough - while Lopez bangs away to the hips with both hands from bell to bell.

R5: Mouth on shoulder slogging continues, Lopez ripping hooks across Jewel's waist, and turning her shoulder into short right uppercuts on the teeth. Kilcher firing back with the odd clubbing right, but she's simply not active enough, spending too much time behind her tight guard, and giving up too much tummy to her body snatching foe.

R6: Lopez finally puts wobble in Jewel's trunks, scoring a bang bang left hook on the jaw to jerk Kilcher sideways. Jewel hurt for the first time, goes to the ropes, and is savaged as Lopez lets her fists play all across Kilcher's body, bashing the blondes' shoulders, popping blood vessels under the skin, trying to wear down that defense. Kilcher laying against the ropes, is now feeling it to the body, jerking forward as Lopez digs in with the hook, and Jewel clinches desperately at the bell.

R7: Kilcher out with banging left hooks, right hands to put Lopez on her heels in the first minute, but Jennifer comes in hard with head to Jewel's teeth, fights off Kilcher's chest, and takes over with the draining two fisted gut attack. Jewel helpless by the final minute, folding forward, gloves coming down, and Lopez begins to jerk short right hands against Jewel's jaw inside. Jewel wobbling, hurting at the bell as Jennifer gives her a contemptuous shove late.

R8: Lopez continues to outwork, outpunch, her foe. Jen keeping Jewel against the ropes, pacing herself, rolling her shoulders to get off 2 or 3 punches up under Jewel's guard, then laying in with the blonde to make her feel the weight.

R9: Lopez banging left hands to the waist, stuns Jewel with a clouting right on the ear, and Kilcher swoons, hurt again by Lopez meanspirited combination punching. Jewel actually recovers to offer spirited resistance, jolting Jennifer with clubbing rights on the chin, but Lopez dominates down the stretch, leaving Kilcher wincing at the bell.

R10: Kilcher opens strong, dropping that jab for the first time and following up with the short straight right, but as the girls trade hooks at the midway point, Jen folds up Jewel's knees with a shattering blow to the chin, and it looks as though Jewel might not finish. Kilcher startles all with a gutty effort, and steps back to walk Jen onto a nice short right uppercut to put Lopez wobbly butt late. Kilcher mopping up, takes the 10th with firm lefts and rights, bashing Jennifer side to side, but Lopez content to block and take to the bell. Unanimous Decision Jen Lopez who refuses to acknowledge her challenger after the fight.

After: Jewel outclassed in this one, but showed tremendous heart, fighting hurt from the 6th round on. Lopez still the queen inside, battered Jewel over the second half to emphasize that Kilcher still has a ways to go. Jewel's jab didn't feature, and her blocking defense allowed Jennifer's steady attack time to find rhythm which ultimately proved fatal. Lopez rubs it in in post-fight, comparing punching Jewel to 'punching a sleeping bag' - hardly fair given Kilcher's new toned look.
