Before: Alana looking to establish brand-supremacy amongst TV crime procedural hotties - beating Jeri Ryan a big step towards "Best of Breed" status. "Jeri's still an enormous threat," warns Ashley Scott in preflight, "She's creaking with age, and I don't think she's ever fully recovered from the beatings I've given her - but I've prepared Alana to expect thunderous punching power from Ryan - regardless of Jeri's condition coming in." Ryan picking and choosing her battles now - Alana more capable than Jeri might like, but the economics of the fight make sense to the blonde veteran. "Obviously taking out a 'Law and Order' lawyer would be strong move for us," says the star of "Shark," a competing legal procedural. "De La Garza had a decent campaign last year - I can see she's a comer - I just don't think she's ready to get in with the likes of me now." Ryan in black push up and panties, white lace trim, Alana in conservative cut lavender bikini (halter style top, twist-tied). Both girtls wearing small "Cat Paw" brand puncher’s glove from Reyes.

During R1: Probing, flat-footed action at a distance midring. Right hands up; stiff jabs - Alana's off the shoulder, Jeri's snapping up off the hip. Minute mark, Jeri steps in, flicks her jab at Alana's eyes and CREAMS De La G a searing right cross: DOWN GOES ALANA! ADLG ducking when she’s caught - brunette shooting backward, scooting to her buttocks with a dazed look of alarm. De L Garza wide-eyed, shaking her head as ref barks 8 - then it's back to circular stalking mid ring. More jabbage - girls penetrating to chest and face with stiff left hand poke once again. Jeri freezes Alana with a little decoy jab at the eyes and STROKES home that right hand. ALANA GOES DOWN! De La Garza dropped to her right shoulder, rolling to her back in ruins this time - Latina all stretched out, head lolling side to side as she fights with everything she’s got to shrug off the KO. DE LA GARZA BEATS THE COUNT! Alana saying, groggy as she tries to focus on the ref's questions - lips parted, eyes glassy - she slumps into ropes, dukes at temples, digging in to receive Jeri's final minute charge. Ryan steps-to, pawing her jab at Alana’s shaky defences - blonde just placing right hands upstairs and down, looking for the off switch. Alana firming, rolling sinuously, blocking and clinching well off the ropes - she gets out a disastrous first, sending Ryan to her corner seething with frustration.

R2,3: Bitter, hard fought rounds as Alana steadies herself, boxes smart, gets her legs back and slowly claws her way back into the fight. De la G pumping jabs while stepping left, dropping in the occasional stuff right against Jeri’s high guard. Ryan stalking, flat footed, still looking for the right hands - she's having trouble setting her feet and getting off from good positions. When girls lean in close - they're grabby with each other - Jeri will use her arms to loosely entangle Alana's left arm; De La Garza will punch her free right hand rangily to Ryan's sturdy gut until ref's breaks. Nice lanky action whenever girls lay in mouth-on-shoulder - arms lapping at midsections and ribs - punches lifted up into firm bodies with thick, clouting heft.

R4: Similar, grim competition inside and out - Ryan sensing the early KO won't come, so she gets back to jabbing hard to set up her right hands. Fierce fencing duels fought out in mid ring as stiff left hands stab back and forth. De La Garza stepping close to carry a heavy right hand to the pit of Jeri's stomach - Latina following up with a tight, swatting left hook off the front door. Jeri landing a couple of short, succulent rights to Alana's chin, sending tremors through De La Garza's long legs. Bell: both girls breathing hard, exchanging long, simmering glares as they separate.

R5: Alana's jab really busting Jeri up early - blonde startled, lips parted as face spanks back from stuff. De la Garza smooth-pivoting to her left, keeping the angle on Ryan - now Latina right hands are sliding in, but more importantly: Alana's oily hook is getting on track. De La Garza with a supple, rising action on her hook - popping hips-right, following through with the fist all the way past her right ear - she's starting to land the stroke as Jeri's preoccupied with brunette rights. Minute mark - tic/toc lead right/left hook shocks Jeri's chin and RYAN TAKES A KNEE! Alana strutting past, glancing down all haughty cheekbones and dark eyes: De La Garza in profile, looking down over her right shoulder, vibing supremacy with every step - Ryan's cheeks blush at the look Alana's giving her. Jeri up at 8 - and spirited in resisting De La Garza's finishing run - but Alana scoring several telling blows - right hands to the pit of Jeri's tummy; left hooks flank and chin; stunning, cracking jabs. Ryan wobbly butt, busted up after a strong Latina 5th.

R6: Dangerous stuff mid ring - both girls long-jabbing, looking to lean in on fight-ending rights, then come back fight-ending hooks. Crowd squealing when one or the other gets caught - both absorbing terrific right hands in early exchanges, surviving and answering back moments later. Ryan thick, supple on the inside, backing Alana up with lapping rights and lefts. De La Garza disengaging well, clouting Jeri tidy hooks at close range, jabbing stiffly to get distance, then looking to renegotiate with the lead right/hook routine. Pitched battle back and forth - long limbs, strong bodies shiny with sweat. Final minute, both women slap each other's faces set-up hooks, both drive in righty - Jeri gets clipped, staggered as Alana ducks under the Ryan right. Popping her hips-right, twisting up out of the crouch, Alana CARVES her hook up and across Jeri's face - pounding the mouthpiece off blonde teeth and swiveling Ryan's head - Jeri goes out on her feet - topples straight-legged onto her back, hands flinging up over head in picturesque fashion. Ryan out cold on her back: KO7 in sensational fashion, Alana De La Garza.

After: There's that look in profile again - De La Garza strutting past, looking down at blonde wreckage with haughty disdain: Spanish duchesses used to banish their rivals with such glances. Alana getting hugged and pampered by Krista Allen, Ali Landry and Ashley Scott in post fight: Ryan gets smelling salts - breaks down into woozy tears on her stool as realization dawns. Smoldering De La Garza and entourage eventually pushing their way through the crowd to gather Jeri up off her stool - blonde roughly taken captive, marched 'round the ring with Alana's right arm snug about wriggling blonde waist while Ashley and the rest trail, hooting, clapping, carrying on. Ryan passed from girl to girl - lolling, eyelashes fluttering - until every photographer in the place has gotten a roll-full of Jeri's demolition.
