BEFORE: Hard feelings in the aftermath of TDD (Total Dani Destruction); Allison Mack retained once again in the role of Tactical Advisor - she's just as knowledgeable about Rachel as she was Dani - maybe moreso; Neve chipping in with brilliant Rachel-mimickry in sparring. Spears putting together what amounts to an all-star anti-Foxfire team for this run: "We knew that getting to Rachel would involve smashing Danielle in a way MacAdams couldn't let pass," Britney explains, answering critics who suggest she over-indulged herself on Fishel last time out. "Now it's Rachel's turn. Don't expect me to become all Miss Congeniality now: if I've learned one thing from Allison, it's that total focus is needed to take out Foxfire champions. We've got another unbeatable plan in place for Rache: I'm the strongest, most durable fighter in the division, and I've had weeks with the best Rachel-busting minds in the business to get myself in perfect position. I don't have to tell you what a long hard road back it's been. I also don't have to tell you that until I win this championship, I won't consider myself all the way back!"

Rachel in serious aspect: Spears/Neve/Mack across the dais...Dani in ruins...Beckinsale legal harrassment (seeking injunction against Spears/MacAdams)...champ's got a lot on her plate coming into this fight. "I trimmed weight to keep pace with Pressly," Rachel says at podium, "and I'm going with speed against Britney as well because even at my chunkiest, I don't think I've got the same kind of 'push' as that girl. A tough fight on so many levels, but that's what makes for great events. Britney says she's got a great plan in place: I feel I've got terrific scouting on her as well, and let's be honest...I've got right on my side in this one. What Britney and Allison did to Dani may have gotten them this fight, but it also added fuel to my fire. Put Neve in the mix, and it's like putting out fire with gasoline, if you know what I mean!" Britney in yellow bikini; black gloves; hair up in beach twisty-bun. Rachel in black bra; sporty black boy-leg bikini bottoms; black gloves; hair in frisky Morning Glory ponytail with bangs.

The Man In The Hat sits quietly in the locker room as Britney's hands are taped. Allison Mack, Jewel, and Neve whisper words of advice, but the Man In The Hat says nothing. When Britney's gloves go on and are secured she looks up at him and says, "I know you aren't much for pep talks, Wiz, but are you going to say ANYthing?"

Man In The Hat: "Ok. Everybody OUT! You, too, Smackey. Go!"

Everyone stops for a second and looks at him. He points at the door, and, quickly, everyone leaves. The reporter stands outside, listening in.

Man In The Hat: "Ya know, Brit, I watched this Burgh here since the very beginning, back a decade ago. Been watchin' real close for four or five years, thinkin' about whether or not I should get involved. And, there were two things that made me take the plunge. First was helpin' Pinkness. She needed help gettin' fights. I figured I could do that for her..."

Britney: "And the second?"

Man In The Hat: "Was helpin' you get your head out of your ASS!"

Britney: "What???"

Man In The Hat: "I been watchin' you, kid, because I know what you are. You were there, right on top. And then you had the personal stuff, and I don't blame ya for that. Happens to a lot o' people. And then you came back and got stuck with a crap stable that didn't know how ta promote you. Again, not your fault. But then you did somethin' that REALLY ticked me off! You ACCEPTED it. Figured you were stuck with that contract, so, you'd fight when they got you a fight, sort of as a sideline, almost, and concentrate on other stuff. Am I right?"

Britney: "Well..."

Man In The Hat: "Well, I couldn't HAVE that. So, I came here and I GOT your flippin' ATTENTION, didn't I? Might not have gone about it the right way, but it WORKED. All the Pink and Jamie Lynn stuff and you were thinkin' about BOXIN' again, weren't you? Sure, you wanted ta kill Pinkness and me, but you were FOCUSED! You got out of that contract and you got your head back in the ring. And that's the way it HAS to be!"

Britney: "HAS to be?"

Man In The Hat: "I know what you ARE, kid, and so do you. So does everyone ELSE in this Burgh, but THEY weren't gonna help you. Why would they? With you outta the way, makes things easy for them. But you CAN'T be outta the way. You got a flippin' responsibility here!"

Britney: "Responsiblity? What..."

Man In The Hat: "Every generation, kid, produces people meant to be Kings and Queens. The Champ? Ali? A flippin' King! They tried to take it from him, the b**stards, but he wouldn't go away! He had a RESPONSIBLITY to BE the flippin' KING. Because HE was the only one who COULD BE. So he TOOK that freakin' crown! And YOU! You walk away and leave the damn thing lyin' on the ground! And they all try ta pick it up, but it's like the Sword In The Freakin' Stone! They can pull and pull, but they can't get it because it's YOURS! YOU, kid, are the bantam of this generation. YOU are the queen!"

Britney: "I don't..."

Man In The Hat: "You DO understand, kid. And you believe me. You know it's true. You know I'm right. You can NOT go ta sleep, Cinderella! The flippin' kingdom IS under seige and everbody DOES need you! The crown is right there! Take it! Go out there and TAKE it! Be the QUEEN! You're the only one who CAN be! Go take it right NOW!"

The door bangs open and the Man In The Hat walks out, brushing past the reporter silently he heads to the arena to take his seat

During R1: Britney midring - left hand at hip, right at chest, stance closed with left shoulder pointed at Rachel. MacAdams cautious - left hand jabbing for Brit's left tit; right hand swinging to take Britney in above left hip with palm-down bite. Brit calm in the pocket - up-jabbing for Rachel's bra; swipe hooking hooks-off-the-hip to clout Rachel's chin. MacAdams nipping in and out, stepping counter-clockwise to turn Britney's back, taking advantage of the closed-stance. Spears turning on the spot, bendy at the waist, feet set at all times. Even to final minute: Spears cuffs a check-hook to chin, sending Rachel sputtering sideways; Britney rushing in, tackling Rachel to ropes, suddenly smothering her! Spears getting big - bodying Rache flat to ropes, then bashing at her: flat-knuckle lefts and rights clout and clip across Rachel's front, clobbering biceps/pecs/ribs as MacAdams tries to cover. Rachel trying to squirm out to the side: Britney throws an arm across MacAdams' throat, wrestling red head back down into ropes with overwhelming strength. Round ends to the side of Britney beating Rachel breathless to the body: MacAdams pouting, sitting in ropes, arms crossed to receive cuffing, clouting power. Bell: Brit takes the long way round the perimeter, preceding Rachel into the Foxfire corner where Spears gives everyone a frosty look on her way past.

R2: Same again: Britney presenting closed stance - Rachel able to expose blonde back with counterclockwise rotation, mounting in-out attacks to touch Britney up. Spears calm in the pocket - up-jabbing torso in receipt - that left arm loose and relaxed - ready to cuff hooks or stick jabs as required. Spears patient, refusing to chase...she's allowing Rachel to initiate, timing redhead attacks and swatting back heavy counters. Rachel spending herself up a bit: she's catching a cute Spears counter-jab in the mouth; suffering swipe-hooks across chin; walking into tuff counter-right uppercuts amidships as Brit gets 'em off the right (back) leg. Bell: Rachel frowning, breathing hard - Britney's hitting MacAdams some heavy shots through 2.

R3: Rolling start for Brit - she's half way across the ring before Foxfire stool's even out of the corner. Pancake tackle - Rachel's head whiplashing: MacAdams stunned, crushed under firm weight of Britney. Spears pushes off, comes up punching: flat-knuckle wallop administered to both flanks, both arms, both pecs...Rachel showing right hand at left shoulder/left across her gut as she sits on turnbuckle, taking. Crowd-pleasing shove-n'-slug from big Brit: time and again she body-stacks RAchel breathless, then beats her without mercy. MacAdams trying to get off, but finding no leverage - Britney equal parts punishing and controlling, tummy to tummy. Midway through, exhausted Rachel eases to all fours, panting and distraught...Britney takes a moment to rest arms on top rope, engaging in verbal exchanges with red-hot Dani Fishel ringside (until ref pushes Britney away). Rachel takes 8, gulping in air, blinking in confusion: ON COMES BRITNEY! Avalanche of tummy crushes Mac to turnbuckle, then Britney's punching - wrapping her brawny left arm round behind Rachel's back to slump her into the pumping! Right hands plunder tummy/jug/chin: MacAdams shaking under the blasts - right arm light around Brit's waist as blonde girl pounds her redhead! THE REF STEPS IN! Rachel going to sleep in the corner, hammered into stupor...couple of insurance right hands in the body seal the deal before Britney's bodied away. TKO3 for the winner and NEW Bantam champ - Britney Spear!

After: Britney bawling - all the way back after countless problems and setbacks...it's the feel good story of the year. Spears showing good sportsmanship - refusing to walk Rachel as per Neve & Allison's insistence - Britney going to the Foxfire corner instead to wish Rachel goodwill (while exchanging hard glances with seething Dani Fishel). "I can't tell you what this means to me," Britney gushes in postfight. "Beating Rachel - sweeping Foxfire aside - it's all so overwhelming. I was much too strong for MacAdams tonight, and I was able to use my strength - get a tummy on her, make her take weight, work her body. She's a great fighter, but she just didn't have any answers for me. I felt like the title was mine from the second I walked into the ring!" Pan of the crowd shows very serious faces on women like Evangeline Lilly, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Elisha Cuthbert and such...Spears back at the top of her game changes everything at 120. Also caught on camera: an absolutely LIVID Kate Beckinsale pulling her hair with both hands, distraught at the loss - she was SO confident she'd be able to lift the belt from Rachel: Britney's a whole different waist.
