Before: Small venue fight, non-televised--Carpenter looking to stay active while she continues to lobby Jaime Pressly, Gina Gershon, et al for the big payday. Aniston in the best shape of her career, looking toned, tanned and talking tough, promises this won’t be the same old punk-out performance from one of boxing’s biggest underachievers. Charisma in red adidas terrycloth trunks, black sports bra, teal adidas trunks and white sports bra for Aniston.

During R1: Aniston makes good on pre-fight bravado early--stampeding Carpenter to the ropes, setting her feet wide and coming at the brunette’s body with whipping right hands from the side. Carpenter stunned by the ferocity, holds her hands high, slides along the ropes, and takes a shellacking as Jenny pounds her ribs, Aniston beats Carpenter around the perimeter of the ring for most of the round, but as she tires, Charisma starts to chip away with hat Oscar counter left hook. In the final minute, Aniston’s head begins to bang back as Carpenter times the blonde’s attacks, and the action moves from the ropes to center ring as Charisma scores repeatedly, Charisma with a gouging right hand to the sternum, buckles Jenny’s legs, and the come-back left hook spanks back Aniston’s head. Seconds left in the round and a long left hook on the teeth hurts Jenny, exposing her to the crashing right hand on the jaw--and Aniston keels over to crash hard onto her side. She can’t beat the count and Charisma Carpenter records the booming KO1.

After: Not the same old Aniston to be sure, but the same old result none-the-less. Jennifer’s exuberance got the better of her as Charisma was able to weather the storm, counter the wild shots and bomb Aniston out of the fight early. CC repeats her calls for Pressly--(a fight Warner Brothers could put together in a heartbeat as well as Conquest Corp. stars.
