BEFORE: "Why would I be afraid of her?" Jordana says in answer to questions about the step up in weight to face a well-regarded athlete. "I walk around at lightweight, so it's totally fine, and as for Jill being an elite athlete...I may not wear my athleticism on my shirtsleeve or anything, but I'd put my best 10k up against hers anyday. Bottom line is - I'm not getting the fights I want: I'd fight King Kong if they'd put it on PPV!" Wagner shrugging off suggestions that she wants to be big-girl in this one. "You know - girls like Jordana and Grace Park go around starving themselves to make 119," Jill points out, "to me - those girls are fair game for lightweights. Jordana's the best available opponent for me, I mean: would Kaley Cuoco be favoured against Brewster? I don't think so - not necessarily. Brewster could push a girl like Cuoco, and Kaley's right at the top of the leader board, so that's good enough for me." Jordana in white sports bra and cheerleader spankies; white gloves; dark tan and low, slick ponytail. Jill in baby blue sports bra; navy chearleader spankies; white gloves; hair in messy ponytail with bangs. When asked to touch 'em up, Jordana pointedly puts hands on hips, purses lips, leaving Jill's extended gloves hanging.

During R1: Brisk clockwise rotation - Jordana smoothly two-jabbing Jill's tanned tummy; Jill hooking Brewster's top in receipt. Jordana bounding out of range of a sudden right hand attempt: Jill calmly blocking a left/right/left flurry with raised arms. Wide ranging, darting stuff - girls putting legs on show, using the ring. Wagner the more aggressive, always coming forward; she'd definitely stand and bang if Jordana would accomodate.

R2: Similar stuff - Jordana being sleek, nimble - doubling her jab to tummy/tits, circling left. Wagner's legs keeping pace: she'll answer jabs with hooks - working Jordana's jugs in trade. Down the stretch, Jill cutting off the ring, stepping inside Jordana's body to beat those tanned flanks: JB covers up earmuff as JW's muscular arms shiver on batting contact.

R3: Wagner stepping in the jab - punching hard to Brewster's upperchest: Jordana scampering away now, looking rushed. Pressure to Brewster's lean ribcage: Wagner stepping-to, batting away rigid right/lefts: Brewster declining invitation to brawl, circling away after sponging. Jordana trying to pounce-in from outside, but look at Wagner's deft timing counters - meeting JB on the way in via single left uppercuts (chin); single straight rights (chest); or check-jabs (face). Brewster rebuked - Wagner collecting points whether leading or countering.

R4: Jordana showing fast hands - missing the left uppercut lead by kissing Wagner the follow-on right: Jill's shook! Wagner forming earmuff, stutterstepping on the spot: Jordana tunes up her ribs tic-tac-toe - then bounces tart hook/cross combos off prepared defences up top. Wagner legs out, gets herself together: second minute spent jabbing Jordana or rejecting her pounces - Jill retaking the initiative. Down the stretch - Jill rolls-with a wide Brewster right, comes back a booming right to pit of Jordana's stomach: BREWSTER'S ROCKED! Jordana bunching up hurt - stooped forward in earmuff: Jill dips torso-left, triggers cranking left hooks up into Jordana's trembling ribcage. Tuff stuff - Brewster baby-stepping forward, grimacing hurt: she can't answer, has to stay covered up as Jill methodically beats both side of the waistline to take back the round late.

R5,6: Jordana a classy little pounce-stepper - trying to dart in with potshotting power: Jill calmly fading back to create gaps; intercepting with check hooks, jabs, or straight right hands in pre-emptive fashion. With Jordana checked, Jill transitions neatly to offence - ripping hooks to the body, or dropping sweet little combos up top. Three-punch face-pastings a common combo for Jill: short punches, with the right hand fairly straight, the left slightly cuffing as Jordana's caught staring. Wagner lighting Brewster up, then sidestepping left: Jill gobbles up her fifth and sixth straight rounds, leaving Jordana frazzled.

R7: Wonderful round of two way punching - girls taking turns getting off while the other shows responsible peek-a-boo. Both land loud to offending ribs/waistlines; both hook jug with venom; both bounce punches off prepared defences up top. Crisp, popping exchanges, when down the stretch, Jordana hooks-with, neatly beating Jill to the punch, then finishes up a straight right chaser to mouth, pushing Jill's chin down. WAGNER TAKES A KNEE! Sudden jolt drops Jill to her right (back) knee - she's up in 3 eye blinks, but ref's backing her away for 8. Jordana smouldering: first sign that she can get to Jill with the right offering.

R8: Jordana pressing, trying to add to her momentum: Jill patient, hanging back, walking Jordana in, then checking her pre-emptive hooks, jabs, straight right hands. Pinpoint stuff from Jill: once she halts JB with the check-shot, she clean up in combination - touching the body, or niftily pasting the face. Brewster a stymied beauty, SO frustrated: time and again she leaps into check, then gets cleaned up. Jill fighting poised off the knockdown, methodically chips Jordana up for the shutout.

R9,10: Six long minutes of frustration for Jordana: beautiful exotique trying her best to pounce in and catch Jill again, but Wagner just stonewalling her. Gorgeous transitions off the counter for Jill - timing Brewster with single check-shots, then tattooing her. Brewster taking shots well - covering up and riding them out - but Jill's virtually untouched in these heats, getting off/roaming the ring at will. Bell: Jill smiles broadly, knowing she's got this; Jordana lumped up, shabby and dejected after another tough dime. UD10 wide, Jill Wagner.

After: Wagner's skill equal to Jordana's: rangier build proves the difference maker as Brewster just can't break through stubborn, poised defences. Jill's beaming in postfight: "That's really the first fight I've had where I thought I was clicking on all cylinders," friendly brunette enthuses. "I saw everything real clear - executed the way I trained - I was just really comfortable with Jordana. You know, I want the Eric Durances, the Kaley Cuocos - I'd love a rematch with Missy - I deserve to be mentioned with those girls. But I'll fight anyone - hey: if Grace Park wants to step up like Jordana did, I'd do that too. Anybody good - you know where I am."
