UD10 Mish Williams 7 rounds to 3

When Mish Williams presented Amy Jo with a deep “Welcome Back Amy” white cake in prefight and promptly shoved the unsuspecting brunette’s face into the “gift”--most people expected a replay of the infamous psych-job/rout Williams treated Rachel Stevens to. Some people punk when Mish stunts on them, others bristle and firm up. Count little Amy J in the latter category.

7 rounds to 3--you figure it’s a comfortable day in the office for Mish, right? Wrong. No shutout rounds either way, every round bitterly contested, every inch of canvas fought for--these girls went at each other like hungry dogs all night long--just a furious action-packed crowd pleaser. Amy J couldn’t match Williams’ pop and that probably cost her the fight, but she landed punch for punch with the aggressive blonde in a fight that seemed like one long extended trade,. Both girls dug relentlessly amidships, struggling head to head and shoulder to shoulder. When Mish landed flush to the jaw, she’d take one back almost immediately--neither girl let the other get off unanswered---ever. Neither girl was wobbled or rocked by any single punch, but the brutal attrition was pronounced by the end of the brawl: Mish busted up over both eyes, Amy Jo cut in the mouth, and sporting a closed right eye courtesy countless Mish Williams hooks, “She’s a pesky little scrapper,” admitted a grinning Mish in post fight, “always has been.”
