Bruising stuff - both girls relying on blocking defences rather than nifty footwork: they're right there for each other. Law a little busier - joining in the fun downstairs, bouncing tough body shots off firm Ryan midsection to eke out points.

R2: Michelle banging waistline right/left: good snappy delivery, bouncing off Law's sturdy middle. Law clubbing away when it's her turn - buffetting Ryan's ears as Michelle shows earmuff, then it's Ryan pounding midsection. Minute in: Michelle breaks pattern, hooking a wide open chin as Law's prepping her own hook...DOWN GOES KATRINA! Good stout wallop puts Law on her backside...she's up well before 8, lips pursed, eyes narrowed in thought. Resume: Michelle cautiously pawing her way into Katrina's chest via jabs, then placing a CRISP right uppercut bingo to chin: Law's curvy legs eat that punch right up - she's back slugging wide left/rights in reprisal, denying Michelle a finishing run. Ryan circling to her right - slotting in ramrod left jabs to Law's face while turning her: Katrina not moving her head much, but showing extreme durability in a trying second.

R3: Bait and switch right hand lands flush for Ryan - Katrina preoccupied with Michelle's jab, absorbs the huge chin-check, spends a moment stepping in fence post holes. Ryan looking things over - dipping left shoulder, sampling the Law breadbasket via tuff, pumping left uppercut: Katrina grimacing in discomfort, but slugging back, hooking Ryan's chest/head to back Michelle off. Ryan circling, stooping, getting off robust to waist or hips - small mitts bouncing off firm beef PIK! PAK! Katrina won't wilt - she's taking shiploads of punishment, but banging back: clouting blows upside the head chasing Ryan off, denying her the chance to pile on.

R4: Katrina gets offence on track - dropping the jab out of the earmuff, doubling it, hooking off it, dropping in the short right. Ryan slugged onto her heels, forced to leg-out: Michelle frustrated by good handspeed in combination from a big woman. Katrina leggy in pursuit, cutting the ring off, turning her hands loose upstairs: Michelle doing a nice job blocking-and-rolling in earmuff. Law head-hunting...corner screaming for some bodywork as Ryan's defending her brain-bucket well.

R5: Michelle ducking inside off her jab, POUNDING that waistline right/left: signs of give in Kat as she groans, bunches forward in earmuff. Michelle relentless, methodical - biting her lower lip as she dips right for an angle, bouncing right hand of Kat's left oblique; dipping left, chopping a hook in behind Katrina's right elbow. Law panting, grimacing - she's pushing Michelle off, stepping back from her: Ryan stepping in, bouncing mitts off meat downstairs, really getting after that body! Halfway point, punished Katrina steps back, lowers herself to right knee: sullen hatred in her eyes as she's forced to take a breather while Michelle's staring her down. Resume: Katrina digging in at ropes - Michelle quickly upon her. Nice tight delivery from Ryan - dipping side to side, elbows in tight to her body as she chops and clouts at Katrina. Law belted upon either bicep - dug up behind either elbow - walloped atop either hip. Michelle relentless, snapping punches in good form - pushing Laws into ropes to reset her and LAW GOES DOWN! Sensational, non-stop body-bludgeoning has Katrina gasping - she goes to all fours, head bowed this time: Michelle smiling, lifting her mitts in triumph.

R6: Katrina shakes off the hurt, gets after Michelle. Law to the body with the same bitter intentions as Ryan - pounding at paunch, clubbing those biceps as both girls hunch forward. Law leaning into Michelle to bull her backward: Katrina showing strength, able to push the UK strongwoman around, then walk her down. Ryan scowling, getting outworked, banged up: late the round, she fields a short right uppercut that has her clinching for a break. Michelle's knees still weak: Law quickly at her with sledgehammer right hands in the left side, beating her ropeside...Ryan wilting forward, just about ready to go down when the bell sounds. Katrina seething, chest heaving - she forces hot eye contact on wincing Ryan through 6.

R7: Michelle goes back to the jab, unpacking it stiff against Katrina's tits. Ryan stepping right, staying tall: Law prowling after her, looking to negotiate distance. Pounding stuff from Ryan - she keeps her distance, fighting a turning battle midring with her jab. Half way through, persistent Law trying to work her way in close GOBBLES a muscular right uppercut...Katrina stuttering stepping, torso suddenly slushy on her hips. Michelle leans in close, turns a tight right hand across Katrina's chin - full back, buns and legs behind that shot, clipping Law to sleep. Katrina's leg stiffen as she folds back from the shot, crashing to her back spellbound. KO7, Michelle Ryan.

After: Impressive stuff - both women sustaining lightweight-like work rates in hammering each other welterweight licks. "Well she let me have too many clean looks, didn't she?" Ryan explains in postfight. "Busted her chops early - saw she was stout, so I made a titanic effort in her core to break her down. That was the difference - leaving her core untouched and just trading head-clouts? Dicey proposition against this one: very strong, very good hands. But that said - with Brook in the States - I'm the strongest punching woman in the isles, and I knew I'd tuck Law away in the end!"
