Before: Nolin willing to put up her SI belt, but Sports Illustrated nixes the deal, saying “If ms. Lopez were to win, which we think unlikely, she would not be able to fulfill certain corporate responsibilities as SI’s celebrity boxing champion. Ms. Lopez is not, and does not claim to bne a swimsuit model, which we feel, is a reasonable pre-requisite for any sanctioned challenger for our belt.” Jennifer puts up her In Style magazine title instead, for what should be a very intriguing match up. Nolin has established her reputation against stand up boxers, but against Lopez, Gena will be fighting the premiere pressure fighter I the business, and critics speculate that Gena simply lacks the tools to deal with Lopez mix. Royal blue aerobics two piece for Jennifer, yellow athletic bikini with black mesh to a high neck for Gena Lee.

During R1: Gena lee gets a taste of what’s in store from the opening bell as Lopez bobs her way in behind crossed arms and begins lavish Nolin’s muscular midsection with that Frazier left hook. Lopez’s commitment to the body is clear: her face contorts with effort as she hurls the hook in, and her whole body shakes with the force of her punches. Nolin
Pummeled to the ropes, elbows in, is helpless as Jennifer fight off her chest, pounding away with wide lefts and rights to the flanks. And Gena goes down! Nolin crumples to all fours, spitting out her mouth piece as Lopez steps back with a look of haughty disdain. Nolin bravely beating the count, shellshocked expression and she covers up as Jennifer wades on in. More beefy blows to the midsection, and Lopez uses her shoulder to push Gena back, then twists into the right uppercut. Gena’s head snaps back and she goes down again! Sprawling on her stomach, as Lopez gestures to the crows, Incredibly, Nolin beats the count and sways drunkenly ion the ropes. Lopez wades in and gets CLOCKED!!! Gena Lee swinging wildly off the ropes, catches Jennifer a sweet right hand and LOPEZ is hurt. Lopez stopped in her tracks, cover sup and dropping the sexy Latina to her backside. Lopez struggles to bear the count and the fight finishes up with Gena lee belting away with wide lefts and rights to the hips, breasts and ears of Jennifer as Lopez rocks from one foot to the other. Blazing first round action--Jennifer gets the points with the extra knockdown.

R2: Gena finishes the first the stronger fighter, and she starts the second as such. Legging across the ring, Gena able to palm Jen’s face with her left and curl the right hand in over the top AND LOPEZ GIES DOWN! Jen sprawls ion her back, seemingly out cold, lips burbling nonsensically as her  eyes shut, but she manages to stand. Lopez wobbly butt, gloves at her lips, eyes sleepy as Gena wades in. Gena belting away with side to side lefts and rights, forces Lopez to the ropes, Gena using her left to prop Lopez up, leans into murderous right hands, mashing the Latina’s sweet features with repeated flush connects. Lopez reeling, out on her feet, clinches desperately around Gena Lee’s waist, All Gena Lee as she struggles free of Jennifer’s repeated clinches, bangs right hands until mshe gets tied up, and constantly keeps Lopez pinned against the ring ropes. At the bell, Gena Lee with a cry of triumph--Lopez wandering to the wrong corner for the break.]]R3: Gena Lee trying to put on pressure, missing over the top as Lopez resumes that key upper body movement. Nolin too wild and wide, can’t catch Jennifer, and Lopez begins to counter with lefts hooks at the midway point. As Jennifer begins to stroke Gena’s jaw, Nolin retreats, and becomes ineffective. Lopez gets inside in the final minute, pushing Nolin’s hiops back to get punch room underneath, bringing her fists up in rising arcs to thump loudly against the blonde’s rib cage. Nolin clinching bow, face twisted in pain, but Jennifer punches her way out. Nolin’s legs go shaky, and Lopez pours it on, turning her shiny shoulders into savage one-twos to the gut, pushing a weeping Gena back into the ropes and redoubling her efforts to the blonde’s ribcage. Pounding, unanswered lefts and rights scorch the belly, hips and ribs of Gena and in the midst of the non-stop barrage, she slides to the canvas. Gena lee rolls to her back, numb from the neck down, and Jennifer Lopez staggers back the winner by KO!

After: Hagler/Hearns-type action as both beauties lit into each other with everything they had. Nolin showing unguessed grit and determination to come off the canvas twice and nearly stop Lopez in turn. Brutal, non-stop punching from Jennifer simply used the blonde up as Gena couldn’t cope on the inside and fight gets replayed on network/Telemundo sports channels for days thereafter.
