For the second BBU defence in a row, Una is matched against a former lightweight, but this time she outreaches a shorter and younger girl - a girl with a big punch, though, who can test the Irish singer.

Gemma enters the ring first - black bikini - she looks good, and ready for action, but the slimmer Una is also a real stunner in her pale plue bra and panties.

Round 1

Gemma is all aggression from the first bell, carrying her gloves low, throwing slingy hooks at Una's body, looking to work the singer to the ropes, but Healy's quick on her feet, skipping away, jabbing the blonde on the retreat, landing more accurate punches. Gemma's throwing a lot of leather, but she's coming up short and getting picked off by Una's long jabs.

Round 2

Una's staying mobile in this fight, needing to keep out of Gemma's range, whilst the actress is blundering forwards, trying to close the champion into a corner, confident she can hurt her. Una's doing well, keeping out of trouble, picking Gemma off, right up to the final minute of the round when the actress thuds a good shot into her belly from close range, enough to stop those legs from dancing, then a quick one-two to Healy's face, and she's down, on her back at first, rolling over and getting up at 7, rather dazed but staying out of Gemma's way til the bell.

Round 3

Gemma comes out expecting to club Una again, but the singer's 'on her bike' again, neatly avoiding the younger girl's clumsy efforts to hit her round the body, constantly keeping out of her reach. Gemma is getting frustrated, and careless, and the round closes with Una landing a variety of stinging punches in her face, bringing up a little lump under her left eye.

Una wins that round

Round 4

That little lump is bothering Gemma, the blonde constantly rubbing her glove to her cheek, and a smiling Una Healy takes advantage of her opponent's injury, landing a couple of stinging shots right on it, jolting the actress's head back. This is an uncomfortable round for Gemma, as Una gives her a bit of a boxing lesson, standing off, then darting in, smacking punches into a reddening face, then standing off again, always focussing on that damaged cheek, and by the bell Gemma looks a little forlorn.

Round 5

Concentrating on the job she has to do, Gemma stops thinking about her bruised cheek and is coming forwards energetically again, throwing those looping hooks from waist height, and she's getting a few of her shots through this time. Una gets caught with right, left, right to her ribs, a sharp barrage, her arms drop in reflex reaction, opening up her head, and Gemma whips a left hook into the champion's jaw, putting her on her back again, Healy this time on her feet at 6, and now getting pushed about as she recovers, and she's gets hurt to the body, too.

Gemma takes that round

Round 6

She might look slower and more deliberate, but Gemma's gradually getting on top of Una, and she slows the singer down a little in the early part of the round, managing to land some more good shots to that slim body, hurting the redhead, making her squeak. On the ropes, Healy takes a few more punishing hooks to her ribs, but she's a skilful boxer, and turns Gemma neatly, gets her on the ropes, and lands a series of crisp shots to her face, so it's Gemma looking the more disorganised girl at the bell.

That round goes down as even.

Round 7

Gemma is definitely slower this time, and Una gets to her pretty quickly, bouncing left and rights off that swelling face, the actress on her heels, she gets stuck on the ropes, where Healy helps herself, knocking Bissix around. Gemma clinches and grips Una to get off the ropes, and she's cut - Gemma's cut over the left eyebrow, and that eye has taken a battering tonight - it takes a bit more, as Una smacks another right hook on it, and Gemma's knees are buckling as the round ends.

Round 8

Una clearly has Gemma at her mercy, but she must beware the blonde's punching power, and even with only one eye working properly the actress is piling forward, looking for Una's body, the Irish singer all the while smacking punches onto that damaged eye. Once again, Una has Gemma wobbling by the end of the round, but she won't go down easily, and hurts the singer with a straight right to the belly late in ther round.

Tight round, but Una landed more shots

Round 9

She must be almost as tired as Gemma, but Una is upping her tempo in this round, rapping jabs into the blonde's face, she then staggers her with a rasping right hook to the jaw, gets her to the gut with her left, then floors her with another right to the mouth, putting Gemma on her ass. Bissix takes a 7 count, but her punishment continues, the referee watching closely as Una hits her again and again, moves in to stop it, then Gemma lands a lovely shot to Una's jaw, and almost fells the Irish girl, bhurting her to the body in a final flurry.

Una gets another round, but Gemma's still dangerous

Round 10

Gemma has nothing to lose, and she storms forwards, forcing Una to back away, thumping and pushing the singer's body, with Una now wanting to clinch and spoil. But my the midpoint of the round, it's clear that Gemma's got nothing left to give, and Una picks her off again, reopening the cut over her closed left eye, splitting her lips too, and poor Gemma barely makes it to the bell.

Una Healy beat Gemma Bissix on points to retain the BBU bantamweight title.

That was a hard fight for Una, and Gemma feels she won the fight, too, so maybe a rematch is on the cards.
