Catherine makes her debut for her new stable tonight, as she takes on the Italian abe, Ilary, a girl who doesn’t have the best record in the world, but she should enable to Brit to shake off her ringrust, and with a potential fight against Damaris Lewis waiting for her, she’ll need that done more than anything

Round 1
The fight has started fairly slowly, but Catherine’s in control fairly soon, picking up the pace, and moving well, working on Ilary’s body, giving the Italian plenty to defend, and she’s making her stand off, not throwing anything much towards Catherine in response, the Brit keeping tight, prodding Ilary to the ropes, where she catches her with a stiff left hook, and that’s made her realise that Catherine still has a future in the BBU, despite her dropping from the Girls Friday stable, and her punches are looking too much for the Italian as the round draws to a close, Ilary clinches and runs down the clock, looking distressed

Round 2
Catherine is very much in control again as she works Ilary around the ring, prodding her backwards, and the Italian’s looking very uncomfortable, and she gets tagged now with a left jab and right hook combination, and she’s hurt and looking wobbly, and just tries to cover, but gets tagged again, this time with a savage right cross, and she’s backing into the ropes, looking ready to go down, but Catherine loses control as she gets too anxious to finish her off, and misses with a couple of swinging punches, and that gives Ilary the scope to survive, the girl getting herself out of trouble, away from the ropes, and she even manages to hit Catherine a few times around her body with some neatly timed punches

Round 3
Ilary’s receiving some treatment for a little facial bruising, but she’s fine to continue with the fight, and Catherine’s looking annoyed with herself for letting the Italian off the hook in round 2, but she’s channelling her frustration into boxing better, and she hurts Ilary with a couple of heavy blows to her body, making the model gasp and wince, the Brit smiling, knowing she’s got the brunette beaten, and she’s almost laughing as she crashes in a right hook to the model’s jaw, Ilary going down in a hurry, and not getting back up

Result: Catherine Tyldesley knocked out Ilary Blasi in round 3

Ilary didn’t give Catherine much of a fight really, but at least the blonde was able to shake off her ring rust, but whether she can trouble Damaris Lewis is another matter
