After extensive negotiations and business meetings, Mr. Vassago agreed to form a stable within the existing Brit Boxing Unlimited (BBU) run by Knowlesey. Although composed primarily of British celebrities, the announcement attracted the attention of European-based boxers who were added to the initial roster. In addition German actress and former celebrity boxer Gina Wild was announced as the group's Head Trainer. In addition, German BBU fighter Jessica Schwarz as well as FCBA-established fighters, Geri Halliwell, Elodie Frege and Charlotte Church signed up with the LC.
While it is expected the most of the LC's bouts while occur within the BBU, it is unofficially reported that the organization would not object to seeing its members participate in other international boxing groups such as USA-based FCBA. The group's headquarters and training center is at The KO Club, Barnet, North London, Great Britain (Emma Bunton's old neighborhood).
On January 10, 2016 head trainer Gina Wild was released from her post and replaced by Melanie Brown.
In December 2018 flyweight Emma Bunton retired and Romee Strijd was signed as the new welterweight prospect.
In March 2019 Joy Corrigan was signed as the new lightweight/JMDD prospect.
In March 2020 Ewelina Lisowska replaced Jeanette Biedermann in the flyweight division.
In April 2021 JMDD talent Abigail Ratchford was signed on a 8-month trial.
