Before: Big fight both girls--Electra brawling her way up from the beach in successful springboard fashion--victory over Alba means mission accomplished for the uber-bimbo. Jessica building off bully’s good work against Cuthbert--this is the step up, money guys watching closely. Alba in black bra style bikini with frills, red and yellow Caribbean print trunks--Carmen in pale pink push up lace bra, splash print bikini bottoms, blues and whites.

During R1: Electra looking to set up and walk Alba into power shots--Jessica’s not playing. Alba out on her toes, hands high, out wide as she paws the air, circling left. Jess batting out little doubled up backhand jabs as she sidesteps, extending her hands to push off Carmen’s shoulders while changing directions. Carmen frustrated by distance--she cant get Jess to move in close and she’s nibbled on outside as Alba boxes for the shutout.

R2: Jess emboldened by he jab--she’s got Carmen bobbing, weaving, backing up. Sterner two-way action over the last half of the round--Alba standing her ground, turning her body to lick hooks and left uppercuts at Electra--Carmen staying low, getting underneath, scooting to the right and landing hooks, straight right hands to the Alba ribcage. Carmen rattling Jess with good touches downstairs, squeaks out a crowd pleasing second.

R3: Alba mixing it up nice--stepping around her jab, lifting her hands high as she roams left, making  it hard for Electra to jump something ion on her. Jess also setting down some--she’ll go flat footed off a feint, get Carmen crouched, then stick a hook in Electra’s flank, lick the left uppercut up underneath to midriff, jab to step out. Alba prettying her girl up till late when Electra lands a walk-away hook on the temple to queasy Jess at the knees! Alba’s corner panicked,  hands on heads, breath hissing through clenched teeth! Carm advancing as Alba wilts ropeside--Jess covering up hurt--Electra probes her with the extended right, torquing in hooks to the ear and in behind the elbow to steal an Alba round late.

R4: Jessica undeterred, shakes off the hurt, gets back to what was working--the movement, the high confusing hand position, and picking her spots to stet down. Electra following, getting jabbed into defensive crouches, then Alba can ease onto her front foot, lick away at Carmen’s sides and up underneath with lanky, stroking hooks and sticking uppercuts. Alba wary of the Electra hook, keeping the right at her chest or cheek as she twists her body into left hands for the most part--shutout Jessica.

R5: Jessica working Electra work with whip action, heavy handed lefts as she swing-steps clockwise. Electra hunching over to receive thudding body shots, covering up as the left caroms off her skull or ear--Jessica so fluid as she rambles, backhands the jab, hooks, licks the uppercut. Alba really getting into Electra behind the elbow as Carm folds forward--hooking it in, pivoting around the punch to keep the angle. Jess well on her way to a shutout when Electra beats her to rising lefts o the stomach--Alba double clutching--Electra reloading and jerking in the left uppercut to the chin and JESSICA’S HURT! Alba tottering back on her heels, wide-eyed and ramshackle at the topes--ON COMES ELECTRA! Carmen buzz sawing in with a chopping flurry of overhand lefts and rights, then HEAVING to midsection with gorgeous underhand lefts, sitting Jessica crippled into the ropes. Alba soggy with pain, hanging on at the bell--Electra steals ANOTHER clear Jessica round with opportunistic power.

R6: Jessica gritting her teeth, getting up--she gets back to boxing and problematizing the fight for Electra. Good mix from Alba the key--too cute and Carmen can hunt her down--too strong and Electra can hurt her--Jess doing just enough boxing to set up hard left hands that are steadily wearing out the Electra torso and legs.

R7: Jessica retreating, flicking out the backhand jab, turning suddenly at the ropes--she’s got Electra rushing, trying to force decisive battle. Beautiful sequence end of first minute Alba: backing up she has Electra chopping and missing, Jessica just dropping clean, loose lefts and rights on the girl’s face with an easy, breezy action and ELECTRA GOES WOBBLY BUTT! Several clouting counters do the trick--Alba circling to influences Carmen’s back to the ropes and she guards up ion Electra’s shoulder for the first time. Alba getting close to use her dip and rip uppercut attack--digging hard for Electra’s firm body, pushing her up on the ropes, tightening up her lanky leverage for maximum effect. Electra coming around late and still dangerous--she starts nailing super-short lefts and rights as she leans into the ropes, clouting Alba’s chin as the brunette leans forward. Punching after the bell as both beauties lose their professionalism--all about hurting the bother girl now.

R8: Electra right hand at chest, left across her body, stepping back as she turns her shoulders--it’s her most dangerous look and Jessica’s walking into it. Carm able to step back, walk Alba onto torquing hooks to the body, screened little right uppercuts out of a closed stance crouch, then fall off to either side. Good form touches draining Jessica as she tries to walk Electra down without success, Down the stretch, Jessica gets punching toe to toe, quicker-mitted Electra beats her to a series of clubbing lefts and rights ribs and chin and JESSICA GIESWOBBLY BUTT! Alba’s eyes fluttering, knees giving way--she rights herself, topples sideways to the ropes, and manages to clinch behind Carmen’s neck as Electra comes chopping in at the bell.

R9: Jessica gutting up once again, still making decision, fighting smart. Electra forcing a string first minute--Alba gives ground rather than trading., loping around the perimeter, extending her hands to push, sidestepping shamelessly. Second minute, Jessica able to get the flicking jab on Electra, then walk Carmen into a jamming straight right to stop Electra aggression. Electra trapped in no-man’s land--she goes to0 the low crouch--Alba able to lean in on the front foot and lash her with those stroking left hooks, pick her up tough underneath with lanky left uppercuts. Jessica with the receipt--she takes another round, slim lead into the 10th.

R10: Corner wants Jess to box--keep her distance--Alba obliging with that loping bounce around the perimeter. Electra grim as she crouches forward, trying to cut off the ring on her supple foe while evading that limber stick. End of first minute, Carmen hasn’t landed, still hunting when she slips a dabbing Alba jab, snaps a short right counter off her hip to Jessica’s chin and ALBA’S ON HER BUTT! Jessica clipped clean and sent scooting to her backside in a neutral corner--she’s blubbery with disappointment as she palms herself up off her tush for 8. Electra taking advantage of the momentary loss of composure--she’s able to jump in a sudden lead right hand, putting Alba glassy-eyed against the ropes in trouble. Electra going for it--bouncing a barrage off Jessica’s abdomen, then rolling her shoulders to pick Jess up in the chest left/right/left/right, short, short strokes. Alba rag dolled, but steeling herself--she’s riding her arms around Carmen’s head and shoulders, desperate to bog down the rampage. Electra pushing and punching her way through it--she’s hungry for Alba and can’t be completely denied. Brutal beating to the bell--Electra too strong, jamming straight right hands to chest and face, clubbing in combinations to ears and ribs in between desperate Alba attempts to hold. Crowd screaming at the bell--Alba’s vibrating but on her feet and this one goes to the cards. One point duke courtesy the late knockdown--Carmen Electra!

After: HEARTACHE! Jessica shattered in defeat, leapfrogged in the final three minutes by the resurgent Carmen Electra, Huge win for Carmen makes her a contender once again--this is the kind of fight she hasn’t won in a long time. For Alba, some silver linings. She refused to go out, despite being repeatedly tagged by a strong bantam puncher. She won 5 rounds, outboxing and outhitting Electra in spots. She racked up a lot of shutout rounds on a very unorthodox, tricky to hit club-style girl and did a lot of nice things in this fight. Career hangs in the balance--will she get the third fight to save her contract, or has the ejection seat already fired?
