Before: Virginie the long-time French "scourge" of UK beaches - raiding British starlets like a Corsican pirate over the years, but can she still bring it? "I don't think so," Sienna says in prefight. "The game has passed her by. She's slower now, thicker, older - and older is NEVER better. My fists will make a mockery of Virginie Ledoyen - maybe even pound out a little vengeance for the girls Ledoyen cut down in years past!" Virginie serenly confident as always - staying sharp on the likes of syndicated TV girls like Brooke Nevin and Keile Sanchez. "Sienna has grown as a fighter," Virginie allows, "but she is still fragile, still very touchable. She may think she is safe in the ring, but I WILL find her. French fists were made for battering British bodies, and I will have Sienna in the end." Sienna in black bikini with gold chain link connections; small black work out mitts; blonde hair loose/straight. Virginie in neon blue bra-style bikini top; dark green bottoms; small black work out mitts; hair loose, curly.

During R1: Feeling out process - both girls featuring legs/left jabs; using the ring; changing directions; feinting. Sienna with the better of if - lapping left hands at Ledoyen's waist whenever Virginie's showing earmuff, then jabbing her in the guard to prevent counters.

R2: Midway through, Ledoyen times the Miller jab, looping righty over the top to shock blonde jaw. Sienna baby-stepping in fence post holes: Ledoyen digs a pair of beefy left hooks deep to tummy. Sienna stooped forward in earmuff...Virginie being patient - bouncing tidy right/lefts off Miller's scalp/hairline, then looking to hook her thick amidships. Miller visibly hurt, just sponging punishment, keeping elbows in - Ledoyen getting a good sustained look at Sienna's svelte body through 2.

R3: Sienne composes herself, rotates clockwise around a piercing left jab, holding that right hand curled into her chin. Virginie turning, crouching, showing earmuff...she's looking to time blonde girl for another big right hand. Miller picking away outside - leaning in to drop the odd sinewy right hand - jabbing to recover balance/distance...nice lean-limbed style as blonde girl dictates terms. Midway through, slicing right cross of a pair of jab chips Virginie's chin: Ledoyen's turn to stumble-bum around, momentarily put wobbly butt by accurate blonde punching up the middle.

R4: Sienna back to work outside - swing-pivoting to her left; popping that long, stiff left jab, then shortening up stroke to hook Virginie's chin when Ledoyen encroaches. Miller easy-breezy here, just turning her foe, touching her. Blonde girl occasionally riding that loose left around Virginie's head, tugging it down while lapping a licking left amidships. Sienna tilting onto right leg while lashing left hooks upside Ledoyen's head - couple of cuffing clouts enough to get Virginie covering up, then Sienna's scraping right uppercuts. French girl takes it all well, but she's nibbled and vexed: Sienna's legs and accurate punch placement offsetting Virginie's power through 4.

R5: Virginie letting her hands go, engaging more as girls circle each other in a drifting pocket. Rangy, curling punches favouring Ledoyen in the exchanges - she's clouting either side of Sienna's jaw, moving her off-stance. Both girls laying in to lap two-handed against offending guts: Virginie getting the better of Miller's tummy, then shoving her off to walk her down big-girl.

R6: Sienna's jab a real nightmare for Virginie...blonde girl wheeling clockwise, spearing out that stiff stick - small glove impact sounding out PIK! PIK! as Sienna busts up Virginie's lower lip/left eye with patient strikes. Midway through, Virginie looping an aggressive right over the top...supple Sienna rolls-with to her right, then comes back the sleek bolo right uppercut, picking Virginie up under her chin, lifting her out of her stance, then dropping her to all fours! Ledoyen up quickly, but blinking rapidly, looking buzzed. Sienna all demure, looking Virginie over prettily - as if selecting the next bits of French girl to punish.

R7: Virginie aggressive early, scattering Sienna with bold rushes up the middle: springy blonde legs propel Miller about the ring in hops and lopes until she can get her jab on track. Once that left hand's sticking into Ledoyen's face again, slowing her pursuit - Sienna's legs calm down, right heel coming up off canvas as blonde girl settles into forward-aspect. From there, it's precision punishment for Ledoyen...French vixen out on the end of sharp British poke - Sienna just lumping Virginie up, then dropping in the right hand when available. Miller varying her looks to get left hooks off the right leg - slapping Virginie upside the head with 'em, drawing her into position to receive the jagged right uppercut. Nimble stuff from Sienna, just picking Virginie apart. Tuff right uppercut under French left breast seems like cheeky overkill at the bell...smirking Sienna doesn't think so.

R8: Ledoyen turning brawler - rushing at Sienna, trying to bull her to ropes and scuff her up. Some success for Virginie in ugly sequences along ropes, but Miller able to tie up, get ref's breaks and restart the action midring...gradually her legs and jab prevail as Virginie's pace abates. By the end, it's Sienna pivoting around that lead (left) plant leg, feeding Virginie jabs on the face; shortening up to hook-chin when Virginie weaves close; picking spots to lean in and kiss Virginie the right hand to chin. Bell: Ledoyen woozy from accumulation...she doesn't quite manage a straight line back to her corner.

R9: Aggression and hard punching from a combative Ledoyen early - Sienna forced to hop and scramble around, gradually regaining the initiative once that left jab starts bouncing off Virginie's swollen face again. Latter half the round - Sienna easy to her left, busting Virginie up all patient-like: Ledoyen crouching, weaving forward, but unable to close with authority. Most impressive is Sienna's little check hook whenever Virginie's trying to scoot up-the-gut: just a short chip-shot off that front (left) plant-leg - palm-down: just enough to spoil Virginie's intentions, and allow for a blonde sidestep-left.

R10: Sienna leggy, just running now - often dropping her hands to her sides when she's far away from Virginie. Ledoyen all busted up, but spirit unbroken: she mounts a series of rushes, trying to draw Miller into decisive combat. Sienna won't have it - either denying Virginie with legs, or tying up for ref's breaks...sloppy, stop and go round goes to aggressive French girl, but it's British girl's night via UD10.

After: Virginie solemn, puffy as Sienna's hand is raised: humiliating loss to a British starlet not the sort of thing Ledoyen is used to. "I was ever the matador against Virginie tonight," Sienna gushes in postfight. "My legs; my jab - much too much for Virginie to handle. I dearly wanted to stop her, but she was quite fresh late: my fault for not taxing that over-ripe body of hers. Still, it's Virginie touched for a splendid loss: there'll be partying up and down the channel coast tonight, I can promise you that!"
