Before: Title bout with a grudge—Carpenter out to avenge the defeat that put Richards over finally with hard core fight fans. Most recognize Denise as having taken the up in class to Charisma’s level—competitive bout expected as there is a very little to choose between these women. Denise in royal blue bikini top, high cut grey stretch cotton aerobics bottoms—Charisma in gold bikini with white fluffy puffs.

During R1: D out to box, dukes up, very conventional—Charisma lowering her fists, comes out to slug. D backing straight up as Carpenter’s fists shave close—CC stepping with the champ and NAILING Richards a spearing right over Denise’s left shoulder, sends the brunette reeling sideways to the ropes. Carpenter gets beefy on Denise, lugging lefts and rights wide up into the body as Richards folds forward—Charisma shouldering her back and ladling on the abuse as D goes glassy-eyed. 3 long minutes of hell for Richards—Charisma pouring it on, stepping with the slumping champion along the ropes, lashing away to the gut and head with heavy, almost crude blockbuster punching. Richards rocked at the bell—Charisma pushing up with her chest on her foe until the referee separates the combatants.

R2: Pearl Harbour continues—Richards woozy, eyes haven’t cleared and Charisma continues to dive in on chin with her whole body behind reckless punching. D gets clocked and rocked—staggers sideways to the ropes—Carpenter reeling forward off balance with her own momentum—girls pile into the ropes together and Carpenter palms up to fish it up. All Charisma Carpenter—eyes glaring as she heaps a steady beating upon Denise—palming up on the champ’s shoulders, then clouting away to the face, beating in the sides whenever d folds forward and shouldering the brunette back for more. Brutal, brutal stuff—every 3^rd or 4^th blow to the head a wrecking ball connect, swiveling Richards’ beautiful face to the side and draping her lifelessly against the ropes. D helpless, out on her feet, refusing to give in but she is getting CLOBBERED! Crowd on its feet as time and again a slumping Denise Richards looks like she’s headed to mat only to straighten herself or get propped back by the chugging challenger. Its all too much—huge, hungry swings from Charisma, crashing connects on either jawline or shivering blows to the body finally send Denise slobbering to the deck. D on her face bludgeoned under—Charisma Carpenter smoldering, stomping around the ring a vindicated KO2 victor.

After: Stunner to say the least. Richards came in almost favoured—she’d been tougher and classier in her last few fights—Charisma hadn’t been able to find a groove since Denise upended her, and now the tables have turned. Carpenter ransacks Richards, takes everything away from her and leaves her with a humiliating “Maxim” photo spread detailing the one-sided carnage.
