Before: Langton an excellent athlete, loosing her sponsorship after being dropped by “Melrose Place” and hasn’t often been seen in title fights as a result. Liu needing to go outside the box to find opponents come in the most dominant champ in boxing, seems to respect Brooke in pre-fight until she refers to Langton as a “hobo”. Fight’s on. Brooke in red and white striped string bikini, ponytail, black gloves and shoes. Lucy in black push up, red high cut aerobic bottoms, black gloves and shoes. Both girls wear the small workout glove for this fight.

During R1: Brooke runs much of the round, making Lucy miss, nut also forfeiting points. Lucy sliding around the ring with her hands at her sides, scores some scraping uppercuts to the pit of Langton’s belly in a tactical first.

R2: Brooke circling, using her reach and height to good advantage, and really timing Lcu well, stuns Liu with a sudden jolting lead right on the teeth which sits Lucy down to open the round. Liu up but shaky, and Langton rolls up on her, the jab landing with a sickening crack over and over to Liu’s Asian eyes. Brooke masterful with the left hand, smacking in the jab, turning over the hook, and continuing to beat Lucy with her legs in a big second round.

R3: Liu gets it going this round, coming up from the ankles with that devastating lead uppercut to smack the taste out of Brooke’s mouth. Langton staggered by several leaping blows, but by the final minute, Brooke covers her retreat with that biting jab, busting up lucy’s eye badly at the bell, Big Liu round, but her corner’s got work to do,

R4: Dominant Liu round as she takes a little off the fastball, but slashes in and out on Brooke to render he brunette ineffective. Langton covering up, uncertain, missing as Liu stands right in front of her, crouches low, sweeping her head below waist level, then jerking up with akward haymajkers, Shutout for lucy as she lumps up Brooke’s face in payback.

R5: Brooke re-establishing the jab, cracking away with the hard, small glove to Liu’s
high cheekbones and eyes, and controlling the shorter girl with brilliant execution. Nobody’s been able to use the stick on Liu like this--it’s steering her, and forcing her into a reactive mode.

R6: Brooke unloads as Liu continues to have problems with the jab. Pouring in straight right hands off the jab, Langton pounds open a gash over Liu’s left eye, smacks away with 2 and 3 follow up punches, then steps out to come at Lucy from a new angle. Liu fighting nearly blind, can’t slip the incoming, and by escaping behind a pesky jabv on the mouth as Liu turns impotently. Liu clinching in the final minute, gets some right hands into Brooke’s taut gut--but Langton pumped at the bell.

R7: Brooke beating Liu to a pulp, hooking hard off the jab, stepping out, then bouncing fists in combination off Lucy’s head. Liu slugging straight up, but her legs are shot--she’s slapping her punches, not moving her head as Brooke keeps up the pressure,

R8: Brooke circling on her toes, eyes glittering with concentration as she stabs lead rights, comes back with left hooks and keeps that slicing jab in Liu’s face as Lucy turns , walks into punches, Liu wobbling, getting hit, bending down too late, then getting hit as she sits in her crouch.

R9: Brooke’s punches splatter onto Liu’s ruined face this round--Langton’s mechanics fluid, economical, and she’s able to reach down Liu’s body to bat at the waist whenever Lucy covers up. Triple left hook in the final moments spills Liu backwards to the ropes, and she stands dumbfounded, gloves at her chest as Brooke rips lefts and rights flush ion the face at the bell.

R10: Brooke racing out to square up, leans in, then sways back to get Liu to punch, Lucy’s form ragged, groggy, an Langton’s sharp counters quickly take the champ apart. Liu stumbling, eyes closed, gloves loose in front of her face and Langton bangs away with hooks on the jaw, chopping right hands on the eyes, Liu finally breaks down, hands at her sides, meandering sideways as Brooke steps with her, spanking her face with left hooks, and LIU GOES DOWN!! Lucy on her side at the ropes, rolls to her back and struggles to rise but ca n only lift her head drowsily as the 10 count passes her by. Brooke leaping for joy in the ring, stops Liu after a terrible, prolonged beating KO10.

After: Liu handed the worst pounding of her career, as Brooke got stronger and stronger from the 5th round on,. Langton with a dominate jab, had the uncanny knack of punching just when Liu wanted to move, breaking down the champ’s form and leaving her susceptible to power punching she’s never seen before. Langton tears the belt from Liu’s waist wit this shocking, sensational performance.
