Before: Holly looking to re-establish herself against the punching bag de jour Carpenter. How the mighty have fallen--once the hottest fighter in Boxing, Top 10 pound-for-pound etc, etc.--Charisma badly needs to scrape out a a win to reviving her flagging rep. Holly in black bikini, long blonde hair, Charisma in red bikini, hair long and loose.

During 1-3: Holly workmanlike, not taking any chances, boxing Charisma from outside, and steadily breaking the ex-champ down with the jab, hooks to the body and head. Charisma looks tentative, standing up too tall, not cutting down the ring, and she blocks without moving her head, allowing Holly to snap off combinations and step to the side. Carpenter not hurt, but not doing anything to win rounds as Holly takes all three rounds.

R4-6: Holly gaining confidence, sets down on her punches, and by the 5th, has Carpenter grunting in pain from a very solid left hand to the abs. Lauren still moving, but reaching in with the right to torque left hooks to Charismas body. By the sixth, Carpenter’s hands are coming down, grimacing, and taking pounding one-twos to her high cheekbones as Lauren bangs away. Lauren steams out 6 rounds to love--Carpenter slowly getting dismantled as her punch out put remains laughably low.

R7,8: Signs of life from Charisma as she bangs out back to back shutouts, Carpenter remembers she’s a hell of a boxer in these rounds, banging back Holly’s head with a stiff left jab, and cutting off the ring with leggy strides, then squaring up on the blonde to work clouting combinations wife to Lauren’s jaw. Holly outclassed, but taking a great punch, stands in and keeps working despite being unable to trade with the rejuvenated brunette.

R9: Best round of the fight as the girls trade leather, stepping in to work at close range with tight left hooks. Loud, popping blows bounce off shiny ribcages as the girls rotate, each using shoulders and elbows inside to lever up room. In the final minute, Charisma misses a right hand over the top as Holly dips, and the blonde comes back with a short sweet left hook on the chin, crumpling Carpenter’s legs, and nearly putting her down. Charisma helpless, staggering back to the ropes with a doomed look in her eyes takes a savage 2-fisted burst from Holly at the bell that leaves the brunette in tatters.

R10: Overanxious Holly chases Charisma, and impales herself over and over on Carpenter’s stiff, long left jab this round. Carpenter’s legs look fresh, and she bounces left and right in front of Holly, and potshot ting from well outside. Lauren looking to hurt Charisma again, loads up and can’t find the mark as brunette pulls a De la Hoya down the stretch. Bell sounds and Charismas eyes tell thre story before the decision comes back: Unanimous duke Lauren Holly.

After: Carpenter showing flashes, but no enough consistency to win this very winnable fight. Charisma’s confidence clearly shot as she simply would not step up and be counted. Holly fought within herself content to outbox/out hustle Charisma, hurting the brunette only once in a fight that saw the blonde dominate round after round territorially. Carpenter mired in the worst slump of her career., gets door mated once again and respect seems a long, long way off at this point.
