The second preliminary fight sees 32 year old Pooja taking on 24 year old Hannah, a girl keen to join her sister Kara in the next round of the tournament. If Hannah can stay out of trouble early on, she could shock Pooja, but most money is being put on the older girl to triumph.

Pooja is wearing a royal blue one piece outfit for this fight, with young Hannah looking hot in a yellow bikini.

Round 1

Pooja wades straight into Hannah from the bell, slapping the youngster’s face around, looking to knock the kid out as quickly as she can. Hannah defends well, skipping and prancing around the ring – she gets caught a few times, and doesn’t seem to be looking to land any of her own punches, but she keeps away from the ropes, never allowing Pooja to get her static, although she is clearly hurt late on in the round when Shah lumps her in the ribs with a booming right hook.

Round 2

As in the first round, Pooja starts off by wading into the attack, bullying Hannah backwards and looking for her to the body again – but she’s an untidy puncher, and Hannah starts retaliating, darting in at her, cuffing her to the face, then darting out again, also using her longer reach to keep the older girl at bay, confusing her now by taking the fight back at her, landing accurate punches in her frowning face, and actually putting Pooja on the ropes in the final seconds, splitting her lips open with a three punch combination of punches.

Round 3

This fight is not going to plan for Pooja, and she’s getting battered about the face again in the third, as Hannah swarms all over her, landing some really good shots to the older girl’s face, making her stagger, then she has her up against the ropes, gets her to the body nicely with a right hook, and a left, stands back, then gives Pooja a looping right hook over the top of her guard and has the girl on her knees, a smear of blood gathering around her nose. Pooja looks unsteady when she rises at 6, but she manages to fend the rampant Hannah off for a while, only to get whacked again to the face as she leans on the ropes in the closing seconds.

Round 4

Pooja just cannot stand the pace that Hannah’s setting in this fight, and she takes another beating to the face as she tries to cover up on the ropes, briefly recovering to hit Hannah to the body, sending the fair-haired girl backwards. Now it’s Hannah on the ropes, with a lumbering Pooja firing a few ill times punches into her midsection, then she turns the girl, gets her off balance, and just whips a right hand up and across her face, sending her to the canvas again. Try as she might, Pooja cannot regain her feet, and she’s counted out on her ass after she flops backwards off unsteady legs.

Hannah Tointon knocked Pooja Shah out in round 4.

Pooja is distraught after the fight, but Hannah is really excited – her sister Kara joins her in the ring for a victory tour.
