The last time these two feisty little characters met, Scerbo knocked Song out in the 8th round, getting off the floor herself earlier. The girls have both improved since then, with the blonde confident she can rise further up the rankings, at the same time pushing Brenda down. There is plenty of animosity between the girls, which kicked off at the weigh-in, when Brenda launched herself at Cassie across a table, sending water bottles flying.

As they enter the ring, Cassie is wearing a pale blue bikini, with Brenda wearing a red and white hoped bikini – both girls are slender, well, lovely.

Round 1:

Both girls show respect – both seem subdued, with neither girl throwing much leather in the early stages, each trying to psyche the other out. Gradually, with her solid little jab working well, Scerbo begins grinding Song down, her punching straight and true and she’s batting Brenda’s face backwards, the other girl never really able to land any of her swinging shots, with Cassie defending them well, covering up, never really allowing the brunette to get her involved in a brawl, and she’s controlled that round nicely.

Round 2:

Brenda isn’t up and at it too quickly in 2, and gradually Cassie dominates her – every time Song gets up close, looking for those looping shots, she’s getting a mouthful of cassie’s left jab, and she’s really beginning to mark up as the blonde just clubs her face. Brenda starts to back off, but that just gives Cassie more encouragement, and she’s got Brenda flailing as she tucks into her with good combination punching, the right hooks and crosses adding to the left jab, and Brenda's hurt and reeling after taking a solid right to the jaw, her knees all a-wobble, she clinches to the grinning Cassie, who whups her girl to the body, effortlessly working her and weakening her to take a sound round.

Round 3:

Cassie goes into her shell a little at first, allowing Brenda to get up close again, the brunette winging the blonde with some neat shots to the body, but Cassie gives her plenty back, and she’s hurting her with short arm little uppercuts too. Cassie can’t quite get any big shots into Brenda’s face as the brunette dodges around her, trying to flick at her in her usual energetic manner, but Cassie remains in centre – ring, making Song do all the legwork, and constantly stinging the girl with that good stubby jab, and Brenda's just not able to get her timing right at all, not fighting her fight as she wants it, and forfeiting another round to Scerbo.

Round 4:

Brenda takes the fight to Cassie, at last landing a couple of arcing blows to the flanks, but she takes two hard jabs to the mouth, then over comes that right hook, and Brenda sways, but doesn’t fall. The brunette’s in dreamland though, and she’s stumbling about the ring as the blonde cleans her up, those jabs rapping into her face, splitting her lips up, and the right hook comes in again, splatting onto Brenda’s cheek, which is red and swollen, the girl having really taken a beating again in this round, frustrated and confused as she gets well and truly outpunched – the brunette doesn’t go down, but she’s unsure where she’s walking at the end of another Scerbo round.

Round 5:

Cassie gets off her stool all confident, but this time Brenda stands her ground, lands two hard shots to the blonde’s face, moves her around the ring, darting her right glove up and across Scerbo’s face, and she knocks her down. Scerbo’s hurt, but she’s up at 6, shaking her head, clearing it quickly, and now the fight becomes a war between the girls as Song traps Scerbo into the fight she wanted, the pair of them exchanging stunning punches mid-ring, and this time it’s Cassie who gives ground, hurt by Brend’a energetic torrent of leather, and as the round draws to a close, she battering the blonde into the ropes, the kid trying to defend, but getting nailed, almost out on her feet at the bell, as Brenda gets a massive round to her credit.

Round 6:

Straight from the bell, a rampaging Brenda’s pouring into poor Cassie, really whaling into her, and busting her face up pretty thoroughly. That knockdown really took it out of Scerbo, and she hasn’t got her legs back, getting walked to the ropes to be beaten up, but resisting bravely. Cassie’s trying to trade with Brenda, but that’s not working now, with Song seeming to shrug off her best efforts, and the brunette’s relentless attacks are starting to finally break Cassie down, the blonde laying on the ropes, as Brenda’s again battering her in the final stages, the ref hopping about, wondering if he should call a halt with Scerbo bruised and bloodied by a now dominant Brenda Song.

Round 7:

Both girls are showing the marks of this battle, and it doesn’t get any easier for either of them, as they starts the round exchanging withering licks, but Brenda’s hurt – Cassie got her with a lovely right hook to the mouth, and she has her staggering backwards, then she gets after her again, thudding punches into Song’s tight little body – Brenda counter punches off the ropes, but she gets a hard left jab, and another, her knees start to buckle, then she gets the right hook again, and Song goes down – the brunette rouses herself, gets to her knees at 7, but tilts over and takes the 10 count, facedown on the canvas.

Cassie Scerbo knocked Brenda Song out in round 7.

A triumphant Cassie parades around the ring with her arms aloft, announcing, “That’s what a true contender does to a wannabe washout!” She then struts to Song’s corner, hoists the still dazed brunette to her feet, wraps her arms around her back, and walks her around the ring, posing the beaten girl’s face close up to the cameras and shouting, “Portman! I’ll do this to you, too!” before dropping Brenda in a heap on the mat.
