BEFORE: (Ashley best known in the UK for wildly popular exotique-night apartment wrestling battles against Thandie Newton, and hard-sparring boxing rounds on-set of "Bedlam". In the US, she's reputed to be one of Emily Vancamp's best sparring partners as both girls star in "Revenge").

"You yanks have no idea what a proper cow Keira is," Ashley assures the press. "She's a tyrant - every bit the witch Zeta Jones and Hurley were - worse in that she often did their bidding amongst the lighter weight classes. To lose to Keira was to be tortured - she's pitiless, heartless...that's why breaking her is SO important to me. It's not just a chance to shine in my debut - I'll accomplish that much at the weigh-in: it's the fact that the last vestige of the Old Firm in the UK will be extinguished. Keira's already lost her grip on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise...she's got little else but the ring these days, and I shall soon strip her of even that small consolation!" Mag to speculate that the clever Vancamp may have machinated this entire fight from the shadows.

During R1: Keira all business, walking Ashley down; punching off flat feet for power. Keira stepping in the left jab to Madekwe's mouth - stiff, jolting pokes designed to soften Ashley up and get her set to receive drifting right hands across the face. Ashley well-struck, giving ground...she's jabbing back at Keira - landing - but withdrawing after both girls have worked. Keira in charge with stalking pressure, mixing things up a bit with a nasty, hacking right hand chopped palm-up across Ashley's left-side ribs. Madekwe gasping and whimpering prettily throughout: Keira tight lipped, hard-eyed, and silent in grim pursuit.

R2: Ashley shows quality - flicking jabs in pesky bunches to get Knightley's weight onto her back (right) foot. Madekwe circling clockwise - exchanging right hands and landing to mouth as Keira misses over Ashley's right shoulder. Ash shoe-shining Keira's taut gut in spots: Knightley showing earmuff, gritting her teeth as her tummy's tanned. Nimble footwork/directional changes from lithe Ashley...she's using the ring, showcasing her legs in a flighty second. Ash making the same pretty little gasps and whimpers; wearing the same distressed expression even when she's helping herself to Keira here.

R3: Relentless stalking pressure from Keira - Knightley walking to Ashley, then stepping in the left foot while stamping in left jabs; trading righty with Ash - both vixens kissing fists off one another's mouths. Knightley with a nice come-back hook - shifting weight to right (back) foot and slicing it across in palm-down delivery. Madekwe trying to offer resistance at every step, but Keira's determined face-punching and vicious body-chops add up: Madekwe's long, lithe legs give a shimmy late as accumulation puts her wobbly-butt. Madekwe getting a lot of attention to her face and ribs on her stool: trainers desperate to keep the swelling down as Knightley's finding the mark.

R4: Madekwe plucky - standing her ground with a cute look of exotic defiance: she's forcing Keira to step in and root Ashley out of her positions. Fans of limber-limbed/svelte-bodied vixens licking it up toe-to-toe are well pleased: value for money as girls pour on the volume. Keira especially vicious in behind Ashley's elbows - hacking away with repetitious lefts or rights, the palms up as Knightley's baring her teeth. Ashley landing a rubbery sidearm right in Keira's ribs - Madekwe keeping her elbow in for a slap-chopping delivery. Both girls diligent about scrubbing one another's faces back and forth with both mitts - but Keira heavier-handed when she starts in the body - beating Ashley's ribs CHUP! CHUP! CHUP! - then finishing up on her head PIK! PAK! PEK! Bell: Ashley swaying on the spot, nose bleeding...she holds her ground, but it's expensive as Keira looks her foe over with dark satisfaction.

R5: It's Keira stalking Ashley - stepping in stiff, jolting jabs - looking for right hands and clip-across hooks to finish. Madekwe melting away from Keira's heat: Ashley busting up, looking frazzled...she's punching back head and body, but not discouraging the Knightley onslaught. Good consistent, no-frills stuff from Keira - reminding everyone of her former-champ status with an iron-willed fifth.

R6: Ashley's dam bursts: Keira pours through the breach. Madekwe staggering back into ropes now - punched along them and stalked by hard-hearted Keira. In upright postures, Knightley pokes and pounds at Ashley's face, landing both hands in straight, stiff delivery. Downstairs, Keira's dipping her left shoulder, digging hooks to breadbasket, or chopping that wicked palm-up right atop Ashley's left hip. Madekwe overwhelmed by volume and hate: she's down early from accumulation; dropped again late as freeswinging left/rights to body set up a ringing hook to chin. During the break, camera pans to an expressionless Emily Vancamp at ringside: her assistants are taking their own films of this fight for future reference.

R7: Bitter resistance from Ashley as she issues fighting retreats: she's no longer actively contesting canvas, but her hands are moving, always slapping and poking at oncoming Keira. Knightley chin-tucked/dukes up, walking in like an elfin-boned Terminator...she's willing accepting Ashley's weakened punches now, walking through them to deliver the more damaging strikes. Madekwe whining, gasping, beaten round the ring...gorgeous little exotic in tears at the bell, getting her lovely ass kicked despite her best efforts.

R8: Madekwe catching stiff face-strikes - strong lefts and rights from Keira...Ashley stumbling forward in swoon, lashes batting as Keira gives ground in good order, punching off the backpedal. EXOTIC GIRL DOWN! Madekwe stumbling to all fours in a daze, blinking in stupor...Keira straddles the girl's back, grabs her forelocks with a small-gloved left hand and pulls Ashley up onto her knees! Madekwe's wrestling instincts kick in, her slender arms reaching round behind to curl around Keira's legs...Knightley snarling, right arm out to the side...she's prepping to punch Ashley across the face from behind! Ref steps in, reads Knightley the riot act...poor Madekwe blubbering, gets a chance to rally. Upon resumption, Knightley walks Ashley down behind a sledgehammer jab...poor Ashley's head kicking back with each spank upon her lovely face. Ropes: Madekwe all but helpless...Keira shoulders hunched, weight forward...she's just grimly issuing to Ashley's body, beating her tightly turned rights and lefts. Madekwe sagging into ropes, hands pushing at Keira's chest and shoulders...defenceless aspect brings the ref in and it's TKO8 Keira Knightley.

After: Ashley blubbering, trembling in official's arms - bullied by a Keira Knightley who came in every inch the A-celebrity tyrant tonight. "Is there no one else?" Keira grins in postfight. "Is there no one else? Feast your eyes on once-lovely Ashley Madekwe: stand against me, and that shall be your reward!"
