The second fight of the night features Team Canada newcomer Emilie Ullerup and Kear's Kats Nadine Coyle. The English girl has scored only one win in her five fights to date but rates her chances high tonight as Ullerup makes her BBU debut and her skills remain unknown before the action starts. Given the fact how joining Team Canada spurred Nicole de Boer into a great TKO victory over Louise Redknapp earlier, one might suspect Ullerup will be a tough cookie to crack for Coyle. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls hold nothing back and trade big punches in center of the ring right from the start. Coyle was looking to surprise her opponent with a couple of big hooks to the head but Ullerup had similar ideas on her mind and threw some big hits on her own and managed to catch the English girl's nose in the proccess. Coyle unfazed, steps forward and throws jabs to Emilie's midsection but the Danish-Canadian responds with a couple of hooks under the elbow and they land on Nadine's ribs forcing her back. Emilie backs her against the ropes as Coyle was too slow on her feet and allowed Ullerup to jab her in the stomach one more time. Some chaotic jabbing from Ullerup follows as her punches now crash against Coyle's arms and allow the English girl to clinch. Nadine tries to drag her opponent low and lands a nasty hook to the ribs but Emilie pushes her to the ropes and the ref finally separates them after a brief struggle. Both girls circle around the center of the ring as Nadine throws some fake jabs before jumping away after Emilie threatened to step in and land a big hook to the tummy. Soon afterwards the bell sounds to end the opening round.

Round 2:
Emilie jumps from her stool and looks to nail her rival with a big hook straight away but Nadine saw that one coming and sidestepped to the left. However Ullerup steps more forward and throws a jabbing sequence forcing Coyle to cover up. The English girl seemed to forget her footing though as she's suddenly rooted to the spot and Emilie pounces on that sending a big hook to the ribs. Nadine cringes in pain and tries to jump to the right but gets rocked with a massive left hook to the side of the head. Despite holding the guard well, Coyle's head snapped to the side and Ullerup throws a good low jab to the guts and firmly backs her rival against the ropes. It's a relentless pressure from the Danish-Canadian as she throws another sequence pounding Nadine's arms and body. She can't quite land that big haymaker though and looks frustrated as Nadine responds with a weak jab before trying to jump to the side again. Emilie doesn't allow her to do that and squares right up to her but an uppercut attempt hits Coyle's glove as the English girl wraps her arm around Ullerup's neck and tries to force a clinch. Emilie nails her in the chest with a right jab and continues to punish Coyle's breasts but at the same time Nadine barges her in the jaw with her head. Ref steps in and separates the girls as things were starting to get ugly. Emilie is thoroughly upset at Nadine and looks set to step on her again, but the bell stops her as the round concludes.

Round 3:
Emilie stares down at her rival with a grim look in her eyes but Nadine seems equally confident as she squares up to her seconds into the third. Both girls look to land a big punch and finally take control of action as it's still anyone's for the taking. Ullerup lands a big hook to the ribs but Nadine catches her in the mouth with a nasty jab. Emilie's head snapped backwards and Nadine jumps on her with a flurry of punches to the guts. Ullerup bends down, clearly stunned by Coyle's sudden charge and takes a big uppercut to the chest making her lose her breath in the proccess. Nadine backs her against the ropes and just as Emilie was trying to raise her head, she gets rocked with a big punch to the boobs again. This time her lungs have a plug pulled out of them and down goes Ullerup on her knees in clear discomfort. Ref begins the count and the Danish-Canadian scrambles back on her feet at six but lacks a spark in the eye. Nadine notices that and wants to finish her off alltogether as she pours in with more punches to the body. Ullerup bends down and looks to clinch as Coyle just can't reach her head again. Desperate clinching from Emillie now as Nadine does everything she can to muscle her away. She eventually succeeds but a flying hook misses Ullerup's head as the Canadian bounces off the ropes and slips under Nadine's arm. A lucky break at the end of the third as Nadine breaths with venom and Emilie walks back to her stool in all sorts of bother.

Round 4:
Nadine Coyle enjoying her best fight to date, jumps on her wounded rival straight from the bell and nails her with a big hook to the ribs before following up with more jabs to the chest. Emilie backs away again, throws some weak punches that crash off the English girl's arms and gloves. She goes for a stiff jab to the face but that's blocked off as well and Coyle lands another big hook to the guts. Emilie on the ropes, struggling for comfort, Coyle steps in on her again, lands a jabbing sequence to the stomach before an uppercut opens Ullerup's guard wide open. Big left hook to the cheek and Emilie drops her gloves alltogether. Here comes the haymaker!!! Nadine rocks her opponent with a huge right hook to the jaw and Ullerup crashes down in agony with her eyes closed. She moans in pain as Coyle looks ready to dish out further punishment and checks if she's getting up. Ref pushes the English girl away and begins the count. Ullerup still not moving at six... It's all over... the Canadian girl has taken all the punishment she could tonight and fell short to the challenge... KO R4 Nadine Coyle!!!

Post-fight:
Team Canada head coach Amanda Tapping buries her face in the hands but there's an incredible joy from Nadine Coyle who goes down on her knees and starts pummelling her fallen rival's stomach. Emilie is still down and out and can't react whatsoever. Ref finally drags Coyle away, but she wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him in the mouth. The guy looks amused and who can blame him? Nadine climbs the ropes and celebrates with the crowd who have witnessed quite a turnaround of fortunes for the often criticized 26 year old. Her loss to Vanessa White recently was supposed to be the last straw in her dismal BBU career but she entered the last-chance-saloon with Emilie Ullerup and knocked the stuffing out of her to bring some positives for the upcoming year.

Meanwhile Emilie Ullerup failed to impress on her debut night and didn't repeat Nicole de Boer's success. She allowed Nadine Coyle to be more aggressive from the opening bell and didn't inflict any significant damage which Coyle was always vulnerable to crack under. Few big punches early on would have probably dented Coyle's confidence but Emilie was the one going down under a barrage of punches instead. A tough loss for the newcomer, but she'll be back with better results in the future.

Final result: Nadine Coyle def. Emilie Ullerup KO4.
