Following Samia’s open challenge on the messageboard, it is very quick and easy to arrange a matchup with Roxanne Pallett, and with Dave Knowles unavailable this weekend, it falls to me to report on it.

A fight between these two has been brewing since the BBU started, with Roxanne constantly getting under Samia’s skin about her promiscuity, but Samia always able to hit back with references to Roxanne’s hopeless record – she’s 0 from 7, and knocked out every time, never lasting past the sixth round. Samia seems to be getting some form back together, as she recovers her shape, and she must be counted the favourite for this fight, taking place in a nightclub in Manchester before an invited celebrity audience.

Into the ring comes Roxanne, and her toned body is shown off superbly in a black bikini as she struts the ring, waiting for Samia. When the (slightly) older girl arrives, her own body looks pretty fine, clad in a white and red hoped bikini, but, well maybe Roxanne is hotter.

Round 1

Samia starts well, quickly finding the range with her left jabs, and she’s soon got Roxanne moving backwards, but Roxy is still taunting Samia, still calling her a whore, and she’s annoying her, that’s for sure.

Samia’s temper gets the better of her, and she’s so keen to knock Roxy’s head off she ignores her own defence, and the Cumbrian lass tucks into her body, giving her ribs and tummy a good going over up close.

Roxanne ends the round on top, smacking Samia to the body with hooks with either fist, and she has her girl on the ropes at the bell, taking the round.

Round 2

Roxanne comes on strong from the start, and she’s beginning to hurt Samia with heavy bodyshots, whilst the local girl counter punches to her face, rapping her with sharpish jabs to the mouth.

Samia again has Roxy backpedalling, and is moving the girl towards the ropes but Roxy won’t go, and she hits Samia hard to the guts with right, right, right, and that’s got the girl groaning.

The audience is beginning to sense an upset here, as Roxanne has Samia hurt with those body punches, and she’s the one pushing her opponent to the ropes, where she lands an absolute jaffa of a right hook to Samia’s jaw right on the bell, Samia’s knees buckling, just about holding her up, as Roxy takes the round.

Round 3

The girls exchange good punches to each other’s face in the centre of the ring, with Samia getting the worst of it, and Roxanne’s right hook again has her legs turning to jelly as she drills it over Samia’s guard.

This time Samia is pushed to the ropes, and Roxanne hurts her again to the body, then winds up that right hand again, only for Samia to skilfully turn her, catch her off guard a little and batter her with five punches which has Roxanne slumping backwards.

Roxanne looks fairly defenceless it has to be said, and a hard straight right from Samia hits her hard right on the bridge of her nose, stunning her, so it just takes one more clean hit from Samia to floor Roxanne, the girl in trouble on the canvas, blood cascading from her nostrils, but she gets to her feet, and the fight continues, but now with Roxanne struggling to continue, Samia clearly in control.

Round 4

Roxanne’s nose is very swollen, but no longer bleeding, and she attacks Samia quickly, smacking the girl’s head to the right, then to the left with hard punches, and Samia’s wilting a little, backs off, then gets caught on her heels with Roxanne’s right hook, and she falls backwards to the ropes.

Samia tries to use her skills to turn Roxanne again, but this time Roxy lands that right hook of hers too true on Samia’s jaw, and it’s Samia on the floor, her face smeared with blood as her lips dribble it down her chin, getting up at 6, then being immediately hurt again to the body as she tries to hold Roxanne in close.

It’s all Roxy in the final stages as she belts Samia with that looping right hand, landing heavily to her cheek a couple of times, and a stunned Samia Ghadie slumps on her stool with a nasty lump under her left eye.

Round 5

Roxanne’s looking confident as she launches herself at Samia, ripping her right hook into the Mancunian’s body, then she closes in on her, clearly intent on stopping her girl, only to make a stupid mistake in failing to see the counter punches coming, and Samia takes the wind out of her sails with a left uppercut to the chin.

Roxy’s legs have gone Bambi on her, and now it’s Samia’s turn to look for the win, and she pours in the punches to Roxy’s face, peppering her, finally putting her on her ass with a left to the ear, and Roxanne’s facedown and weeping, but regains her feet at 7, albeit still wobbly.

Sensing her opponent has lost the will a little, Samia sinks a combination of short-arm uppercuts into her stomach, the gloves come down, and two whipping left hooks to the mouth later Roxanne’s back on the canvas, never even trying to beat the count – that’s it!

The result – Samia beat Roxanne by knockout in round 5, but it was not a walkover, and Roxanne can be pleased to a certain extent, even though that extends her record to 8 fights, 8 defeats, all by knockout.

After the fight, Samia promises Vicki Lloyd that she will fight her early in the New Year to give the busty 22 year old glamour model her BBU debut.
