BBU NEW YEAR's EVE PPV

(Double A Boxing vs BronzedOz Boxing)

Before: Newcomer Tonkin is a 5'10 Australian acting import now appearing The CW's "Secret Circle", she's a big, strong-looking young woman and clearly out to make an impression in the BBU. "I don't think I was properly appreciated back home", she says. "I'm anticipating making the BBU and maybe even the FCBA sit up and take notice that there's another big Aussie in town. Jenny Frost at 5'7 looks over-matched, but the Double A boxing blonde stoutly insists: "There's a reason she wasn't 'properly appreciated' back in Australia: she wasn't all that good. I may be smaller than 'Titanic Tonkin' over there--but I've got the skills to send her to the bottom faster than that boat!" (Phoebe glares across the press table, she is clearly not amused. Jenny just smirks back at the irked Aussie.).

Jenny in pale blue bikini and gloves, Phoebe in black bikini, her hair pulled back in a tight ponytail. Phoebe scowling at Jenny all during preliminaries, but Jenny returns look with an intimidated smile.

Round 1:

The smaller Jenny knows she's giving up 3 inches to Phoebe so she must get in close in inflict damage The blonde does just that, startling the brunette by rushing in and peppering the bigger girl with flurries of punching. Phoebe counterpunches but not too heavily. She seems to be biding her time for the most part, studying the Brit's moves and content to keep the smaller girl at bay. Gradually, Phoebe keeps Jenny from taking the round, but she's not really hurt the blonde either.

Round 2:

Jenny again out aggressively, moving in close and trying to land on the big Aussie. Unfortunately, Phoebe now realizes that Jenny doesn't have much in the way of a guard and starts landing a lot of punches to the blonde's face. Head knocked side to side and up and down, but Jenny still standing though her face is showing the damage by round's end.

Round 3:

Phoebe comes out quickly and goes after Jenny with determination, Looks like Aussie has decided to end the fight in this round. Jenny takes some really solid rights and lefts to her eyes. Then Tonkin puts a beefy hook into pale Brit belly. Jenny doubles forward and right into a right hook off the jaw. Jenny staggers sideways and goes down in a heap. Phoebe smiles wickedly as she goes to neutral corner. Blonde near enough to ropes to grasp the strands to help pull herself up. She shakes her head several times to clear the cobwebs and seems to be recovered enough for fight to resume. Phoebe wastes little time in going back in and driving Jenny against the ropes for a thorough pasting of head and body. Jenny writhes under the assault, trying blindly for an escape rope along the ropes, but big Australian blocks the way and keeps on punching her. Somehow Jenny manages to cover up and survive to the bell, but she is sorry sight as she stumbles back to her corner.

Round 4:

Jenny comes out looking shabby, though she keeps her gloves up and hopes for the best. Phoebe more methodical this time. She strikes at the blonde with hard, accurate punches, easily piercing Frost's flimsy defense. Jenny driven back to the ropes and this time Phoebe uses her strength to body the smaller blonde upright so she pound in the leather. The ref tries to intervene, but before he can, a SMASHING right hook to the jaw slams Jenny Frost against the ropes. Phoebe stands aside as the blonde crashes onto her face and lays there groaning as the 10-count passes her by.

Phoebe Tonkin wins her first BBU fight: KO4!

After: Phoebe hasn't quite made her point tonight. As soon as her own gloves are removed, she shoots across the ring where the dazed Jenny Frost is being brought around on her stool. "On your feet!" Phoebe orders the confused Jenny, grasping her by the arm to add emphasis to her command. Jenny barely knows where she is as she finds herself being half-dragged, half-carried around the ring so Phoebe can enjoy her first victorious Walk of Shame. Draws a mixture of boos and cheers from crowd, but a maliciously triumphant grin from Phoebe. She is clearly already envisioning a golden future here in the BBU.
